Definitely legit, high quality retailer
"I got a 75 inch refurbished Sony tv (last years model) at a spectacular price. They came through with all of their promises. They have a 90 day window where you can return the tv if it is defective, they will not repair it, so it would be a bother to ship it back. fortunately my TV worked perfectly so no problems. Would recommend."

Very Good Prices, but not in stock, poor customer service
"I ordered a Whirlpool dishwasher which the website keeps saying is in stock and will be shipped within 2 days. The information is bogus. They told me they would have the dishwasher in their NJ warehouse within a week. After a week I was told to wait two more weeks for them to get it in their warehouse, after which it would take another week to ship it to my house in Florida. My dishwasher is broken so I have no time to wait endlessly for something that may never arrive. Everything they had told me so far about inventory was wrong. I had to cancel the order, I can't wait a month or more for something their website wrongly says is in stock.
I placed the order with Abt and they did a price match on Appliance Connections very good price. ABT has an arrangement with Whirlpool to dropship it directly to my house, it doesn't have to go to their warehouse first. A pleasure to do business with them, they are much more organized and professional than Appliances Connection."

They sell you Gift Cards, dont check the balance, don't answer the phones
"Shouldn't these people check the balance of an e gift card before sending it out?
I raised them from 1 star to 3 star as they gave me a refund within a day."

"Their method is to quote free shipping and then hit you with an extra shipping charge after they run your credit card. If you refuse the extra shipping charge they will give you a refund minus a 30 percent restocking fee.

"I ordered some cables and tried to cancel it the same day. They wouldn't cancel the order and shipped it out two days later. The cables were supposed to be 10 feet each, but were at least 3 inches short. What a hassle.
First they said I had to take a picture of the cables with a measuring tape. They refused to give me a refund unless I shipped it back to them.
They ended up refunding my money, so I have to give them four stars for good customer service."

"They make no effort to cancel an order even if you call an hour later.
I contacted them at 4:15 pm but they shipped it out the next day at 6 pm and they refused to cancel it the the 25 hours in between. They don't answer the phone after 4 PM EST."

"I got a fantastic deal on a refurb Mitsubishi DLP TV. Everything was as promised with no surprises. Their site is not as efficient as Amazon or NewEgg, so you have to call on the phone to change or cancel an order. They have a membership program called Inner Circle for $50 a year that gives you free ground shipping on everything. Would recommend, they are quite reliable"

"No one answers the phone or even says the name of the company. Prices seem ridiculously low on the Mitsubishi 92 inch. I never got any call back or email return.
The five star ratings that show here are all people who have only one review to their name. I would be very careful, don't send them any money via Western Union.
P.S. As of 3-15-13, the website has closed down."
