If he describes something as "good" you can bet what you'll receive will be excellent (surplus items) or near new. If advertised as new it will be exactly that. Always has the 'cream of the crop'. "My second order from Bud's and I'm very satisfied with their service. Had a slight problem with my last order but bud's came through with flying colors. Every time I've called the folks in CS have been extremely polite and helpful. My problem was due to manufacturer error and no fault of Bud's but they provided a very satisfactory solution. *EDIT* Update: My third order with Bud's went so far south they aren't even on my 'check their site occasionally list'. Had problems with the first two orders that should never have happened but were addressed. Third order was a Stevens 200 for a good price. These were advertised as new. Went to pick the gun up and found a rifle with rusty hand and fingerprints all over barrel and receiver. Rear site floating around in box. Bolt had wear marks like it had been cycled several thousand times. Upon closer inspection I realized it had had a scope mounted on it and from the copper in the (dry) barrel I'm confident it had been shot AFTER it left the factory. At BEST this was an abused display gun and nowhere near new even if it was never actually transferred. Bud's response was "oh well". In 45 years of buying guns I've never had three problems in a row from any dealer I've dealt with and there won't be a fourth opportunity for Bud's. *Bud's, if you cry about this review update I'll be right back with the Stevens Invoice number.*"
"I've been ordering checks from Promise for a few years now and have always been pleased with their service. They supply quality checks and get them to you fast at a very economical price.
I've always ordered through the website so until my last order I hadn't had any contact with their CS staff. My last order had a slight glitch in the printing process and the numbers on the bottom got printed without the required spaces. I don't write many checks now so I didn't notice the problem immediately. Once I did, I contacted Promise CS and they bent over backward to get me new checks. They were very apologetic and rushed a new order out in two days. What a great outfit!
Everyone makes mistakes now and then but how those mistakes are handled is a true reflection of the company and its people. Promise came through with flying colors and will be getting all my check business for the foreseeable future. I just wish every company had this level of customer service.

"I've been buying from SG for well over 20 years and a Guide Member for 16+. I have had a couple of order hiccups during that time but nothing like some of the folks here are describing. 22 orders in 2017 so far and over 40 in the last two years. Always had great service and orders that were filled quickly. They had ammo in stock at reasonable prices when most other etailers were still claiming OOS and trying to gouge on pricing for what they did have. They still have some of the best prices on ammo and with their regular free shipping options I haven't found a better deal anywhere.
I've been really happy with their Guide branded products as well. Seem to be of good quality and at an exceptional price. Currently wearing a year old pair of their walking shoes that I bought on sale for $20.00 bucks. They are an order of magnitude more comfortable than the $80.00+ Rockport's I had been wearing with a custom insert from the Podiatrist!
I have read through many of the reviews here and it's obvious that many of the low ratings are from folks who caused their own problems by not knowing/researching what they were ordering. If you're spoiled by 2-day shipping and can't live without it maybe you should stick with Amaz*n. I have no doubt SG screws up an order from time to time. Anyone who sells in any kind of volume is going to have a glitch now and then but as a volume buyer from Amaz*n I can tell you they have screwed up more of my orders than SG has by far. So far, SG has done very well by me and I will continue to be a loyal customer and recommend them to others."
"I purchased a Linksys E2000 refurb router from DD and it was shipped out fast and arrived in about three days. The router was factory refurb'ed by Cisco/Linksys and as sometimes happens it had a radio problem. The B/G 2.4 Ghz radio was very weak and I couldn't get the A band to work at all.
I contacted CS through email and got an immediate response. My problem was handled promptly and in three days I had a working unit in my hands. I wish I got this kind of service from all my suppliers.
Problems happen, that's just a fact of life. It's how a company responds to a problem that makes the difference and DD really stepped up on this one. I will definitely be doing business with them again as well as recommending to others. Great job!
