"Ordered very tall (84") roller blinds. Everything was delivered as expected in a timely manner. Unfortunately, the product (roller mechanism) broke almost immediately. I was concerned that this might happen after another site refused to make roller blinds longer than 60". I was hoping that blindster.com might be using a more robust mechanism to allow for longer lengths as there was no warning. Will try to get new mechanism sent and will update review as appropriate.
UPDATE 7/21/2013 - Received replacement blinds. While it is unfortunate that the first set didn't work as intended (and is obvious after seeing the replacement work flawlessly), it is remarkable the lengths that the company went to to make me happy. I won't hesitate to shop here again. 5 stars."
"I had the pleasure of living near a Microcenter store for the last 8 years. Sometimes you just want a simple device at the best price and you don't want to wait. Unlike "worst buy", they are sure to have a $10 wifi adapter or 20 foot video cable for less than arm+leg. I used their 18 minute pickup service without a hitch. One time, when "Ultra" tried to ultra-screw me on a rebate (despite picture proof!) (note: avoid them at all costs), Microcenter was willing to give me store credit equal to the rebate. I haven't had to have anything shipped to me yet, but I wouldn't hesitate knowing that there is always a brick and mortar to fall back to. I love the internet, but in a place where stores can come and go in the night, this won't be one of them."
"I have purchased over 100 times from Newegg.com for enough money to buy a small car! I have NEVER had a problem with ANYTHING. I have had multiple RMAs, returns, exchanges, you name it and NOT ONCE have I been disappointed. Shipping is always lightening fast. Customer service is spectacular. Availability is always accurate. "I hadn't used buy.com in almost 2 years. They showed a good price with shipping on something I wanted, so I placed an order. A week later, I noticed that I hadn't received my order yet, so I double checked my order history. Turns out that they tried to use my old address from 2 years ago and the credit card company (thankfully) prevented the charge. No e-mail was sent to me that there was a problem, it simply was stuck. There was a place online to correct the payment info, so I simply updated the info to the new address. Then I quickly received an e-mail saying the order went through. The only problem was it still listed my old address as the "shipping address"! I immediately e-mailed support and called their almost impossible to find customer service number. Long story short, they were not able to correct the shipping address without canceling the order because buy.com is nothing but a middleman to real stores. Unfortunately, the new price (now a week later) was $40 more than a week before! Of course, they refused to honor the old price and essentially told me "too bad". Needless to say, I am VERY unhappy with my experience and will pay more to shop elsewhere."
"Website clearly stated item was "in stock". I ordered the item, but 2 days later I receive an e-mail stating part was out of stock and my order was canceled. This makes me believe this "store" is just a middleman. They did apologize, but offered no substitute or rebate on another model."
