"I was search for a price on a great cordless drill recommended by Consumers Reports and Google showed the lowest price from this company. I think they used to be Buy.com but have ben taken over. Well anyways, I bought the drill because their price was the lowest from a reputable seller on the web. Turns out my wife got me the same model for Christmas before mine arrived... well I contacted Rakuten to return it and they were friendly and fast with the refund. They do have great service.

"Walmart, you got to love or hate it. First they are the low price leader, most of the time. As for quality they are not the leader. Famously they ask suppliers to give them a special break because they buy in such huge volume, but sometimes they also carrier inferior models just so they can sell it priced lower. My advice is know what model you want, say do you research at Consumers Reports. Once you know the specific manufacture & model THEN to price comparison between Walmart and Google sources. I recently bought a Hoover vacuum sweeper thru Walmart and they were $25 cheaper before shipping and the shipping was CHEAPER still!"

"I first discovered ABEbooks in the 1996 when the internet first caught on. I have been a book collector and sometimes dealer for many years. And ABEbooks is the LARGEST USED BOOKSELLER IN THE WORLD. So for price and selection they can't be beat. I know you are thinking what about Amazon? Well they started as a book seller and have become a cross between Walmart & eBay selling new & used everything for everybody. AbeBooks is a network of bookstores, dealers, collectors & charities selling over 50 million books. It's an easy site to use with mostly reliable dealers. I look for a seller with 90% or above positive ratings, over a thousand sales, and then compare condition & price. For used books this the biggest source on the planet."

"Deep Discount DVD shot to the top of low price, free shipping dealers on the web when they first appeared. Now that a few years have passed the competition has started to catch up. However when I went to buy a Blu-Ray of It's A Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World and everywhere I checked it cost more. So back to DeepDiscount for the best deal. They have always shipped fast, stood behind what they sell and if you need to return it - handled it quick. I recommend them as one that you check for price when shopping for a DVD deal. It's what they do, almost the only thing.

"Amazon is a great place for electronics supplies. We recently bought a digital camera which came with a small memory card. So I Googled the much larger capacity memory card and found dozens at Amazon. Then using filters I was able to find one rated very high, that was high speed and cheaper (including shipping) than several other web sites. Who made it so easy and saved me money? The internet SuperStore known as Amazon."

"I just bought a DVD documentary on Shirley Temple from them for around $20. Much better than the $75 they were asking at Amazon. Movies Unlimited have always had great service and competitive prices. For years they have handled more titles than just about anybody on the net. And now more than ever they are a source to check when you are shopping for that rare title you've looked for everywhere else.
I've bought from them dozens if not hundreds of times and never had a problem.

"I NOTICED MANY OF THE POSITIVE REVIEWS FOR THIS COMPANY WERE WRITTEN BY "PEOPLE" WHO ONLY VOTED FOR THIS COMPANY??? Hmmm? Could it be ballot stuffing?
I too bought from this site because they listed titles on DVD never released anywhere else... and I too had to write to them again and again because they took months, not weeks to ship and then they either sent the wrong title or it was incomplete! It took me six months to straighten out my first order and all the screw-ups when they tried to fix it! If you buy from them notice how the return address on their labels change too!
Needless to say, I do not recommend them at all and the positive comments here I think are bogus.
You have been warned.
