"First Rate. They have an easy to use site. They have fair prices. The products are first class quality, at least as good as the Dell OEM batteries that they're replacing. They ship very fast in excellent packaging. There's no reason I can think of to consider buying replacement batteries anywhere else.
I bought two different part numbers. Both report their status exactly the same way as the Dell OEM batteries. Physically, with the exception of the printing, they are virtual twins of the originals, down to the test button operation. I'm really pleased."
"Was shopping for a Sony Handycam HDR-CX150 and found that 42nd had the lowest price of the reputable retailers. The order was placed about noon on Tuesday and the camera was in my hands exactly 48 hours later. It could have come even faster but they apparently queue orders for manual intervention from the boiler room to try, via a "confirmation" phone call, to sell you other stuff that you didn't order and probably don't need. It's a medium pressure sales pitch though and turning down all the "opportunities" had no apparent negative impact on subsequent processing time or the product (a genuine, factory-sealed US product) that they delivered. And even after turning down their "opportunities", they still threw in a no-charge cleaning kit that I hadn't expected. I don't know what would have happened had I not been available to answer the "confirmation" call. One hopes they would have proceeded with shipment per the order. Overall, however, no complaints. The camera was reasonably well packed in a box large enough to spare it from the usual UPS rough handling. I'm usually a B&H Photo customer but this time the price differential was just too high. Since this worked out okay, I'll have to consider 42nd Street next time."

"AVOID AVOID AVOID. They take your order (paid through Paypal, the great fraud facilitator) and ship you counterfeit product from Hong Kong.
In this case it was for two Samsung WEP-200 Bluetooth headsets. What arrived was in a cheesey-looking knock-off package without the usual Samsung authenticity markings on it. I have genuine Samsung product with which to compare the product, and it's obvious that what these thieves sent me was counterfeit. The instructions were in Chinese! And even when trying to get them to work, they don't. They don't even fit properly into the charging "coffin". What a joke.
I've tried contacting them about this (hahaha) but, naturally, they don't respond to email or their web "contact us" form.
I'm going to try a chargeback through PayPal, but that usually doesn't work. I should have been more cautious, since only scammers use PayPal for its layer of protection against credit card chargebacks.
These people are frauds. Period. Don't be stupid. Buy from someone reputable."
"Good service. Ordered two socket 478 motherboards from them -- arrived exactly as expected in excellent condition. They aren't the very fastest at shipping but the products were well packed and worked. I can't say whether they were new, or "pulls", but they appeared to be new. Clean and all connectors in as-new condition. There was no evidence that they'd been used. I'm very satisfied and wouldn't hesitate to order again."

There was s "Wednesday 10% Off" promotion which was applied correctly. The order met the minimum for free shipping which was supposed to be by ground, but they sent it by Express Mail anyway which got it across the country and delivered in two days from the time of order.
They are not the cheapest source for what I ordered, but not far off either. However, based on this one good experience, I'd not hesitate to pay a bit more than the absolute cheapest to get good reliable service."
"I really like these guys. They do exactly what they say they're going to do at prices that will keep you out of HD, Lowes, and WallyWorld for every conceiveable lighting product. They shipped on the day promised by UPS, and automatically enrolled the shipment in Quantum View. The case of halogen floods was double-boxed and very securely wrapped. The product was exactly what I expected.
The *only* negative I encountered with them was their balky web site. It demanded frequent unnecessary logins, and persistently entered the wrong count of items. I wanted 15, and it kept trying to sell me 30. Try to change the quantity, and it send you back to login again! It was needless to say, very frustrating. They reallly need to put some development into their e-commerce facility to get the bugs out of it."

"This is another store that's somewhat off the beaten path compared to the retailers commonly found on ResellerRatings. Their specialty is "Products for Electronic Assembly and Repair" and sure enough, that's what you'll find there. Tools, supplies, and chemicals. Things that you'll have no hope of finding at WallyWorld or RadioShack, but things you need if you have circuitry to build or repair.
I've placed only one order with them, an order that I screwed up and needed their customer service to set straight. These people are fantastic. I ended up sending them *two* order changes in the space of two hours, and they *still* managed to get the order out, correct, before the end of the business day."

"You might be able to find cheaper suppliers for the kinds of things DigKey sells, but they are so easy to do business with, why bother. Their specialty is electronic components, tools, and supplies, which they have stocked in breadth and depth. Surprisingly, however, they don't sell common chemicals, like potting compounds, coatings, circuit board production materials, and related items which would complete their lineup for companies in the electronics production business. But for small businesses and hobbyists, they're still an excellent resource.
Not only do they have what you need, they're excellent at getting it to you. Their order taking and fulfillment is as good as it gets. They'll routinely turn around a new order in a matter of hours, and if you're willing to spend the bucks on overnight shipping, you can count on having your order on your doorstep in under 24 hours, well packed and safely delivered.
I do have one small gripe with them, but it's common in the more industrial kinds of vendors -- they don't tell you shipping charges until the items are actually shipped. That means your order process is completed without knowing the final cost. I don't see this as a big deal with DigiKey though because their charges are very reasonable. They also assess a small order fee of $5 for orders under $25. No big deal there either, considering that they'll charge you $0.18 ea. for a (better) capacitor than Radio Shack will charge you $2.19 ea. for. Buy three and the $5 is paid back.
On edit: a suggestion for new customers -- download the pdf catalog (or catalog section) prior to starting an order. It makes searching for parts and comparing alternatives much easier than relying on the online catalog. Better be on broadband though, their complete catalog is around 50MB."

"At the risk of going against the tide here, I must say my one and only experience with these guys went off without a hitch. I ordered a stack of DVDs for $154 shipped (which, at Amazon, worked out to $202) that they reported as being in stock. Miraculously, they were, and were shipped out the following day and arrived at my house three days later. They were packed properly. They were all new and unused (or damn good counterfeits .... JUST KIDDING), and were exactly what I ordered no more no less. True, I may have gotten away lucky this time, and maybe I still would have some reservations the next time I'm thinking about ordering, but for now, I suppose they get the benefit of the doubt.
Update: Two of the DVDs I received from them had manufacturing defects that made parts of them unplayable. I've contacted Overstock for a RMA to exchange them. They replied to my request within a day, and promised a RMA within "four business days". It's now a week later and I'm still waiting. This doesn't look good, and I'm changing parts of my rating.
Update 11 March: I'm *still* waiting for the RMA to exchange the defective merchandise. I've contacted Overstock's CS EIGHT times by mail and THREE times by phone. On the first two phone calls I was put on hold for over 15 minutes and then dropped. The third time the guy tells me that the return label was sent out 'yesterday'. Why the first two couldn't tell me that, I don't know, but it wouldn't surprise me at this point that the third guy just made it up.
I have now downgraded my rating to go with the tide. There are too many other godo merchants out there to screw around with these knuckleheads."

"First order with this company, not without some concern due to some of the bad reviews in mid-2004. I'm pleased to say that my order, for a 3.2GHz Northwood went off without a problem.
I give them good marks for their 'real time' inventory query system, since these parts are in short supply most places, and their total stock was in low double digits when I ordered. But their price was very good ($50 less than Newegg) so I took a chance. They were good to their word and indeed shipped out the processor the day after I ordered it. The item they shipped was exactly what I ordered and packed adequately.
I have only two quibbles with Page's order system: 1) their web site is very slow most of the time and it seems to have a lot of trouble finding valid orders after waiting for the order status pages to load. Finding status can take four or five attempts with the same valid order information. 2) They are very slow in posting tracking numbers. My processor arrived before the number posted. In fact, it's a day later and it *still* hasn't posted! They did tell the truth, however, that the paciage had shipped.
Four stars overall, and I'd use them again, especially if Newegg keeps up with their recent pace of price increases."

Advertise low price for Northwood processor, charge my card, and then send an email that "Oh, golly gee, it's out of stock for at least a month." Do you want a Prescott instead? Classic bait and switch, not to mention that they charged my card *KNOWING* that they didn't have stock on what I ordered. These people are scammers. I should have paid attention to the other posters here that reported the same kind of crap from them. I'm trying to get them to credit back the fraudulent charge to my CC, and so far they're ignoring my emails.
