"Terrible results!!! Ordered a video card and waited, and waited, and called. Was told to wait just a little longer. Waited, nothing yet, no email, no phone call, no board. Called again, was told "We have sold all of those video boards and have no idea when we will get another order." So where was my email notification????

Pretty sure I will NEVER use 11cb.com again!

"We have ordered many many many times with this company and always had a good experience. They are a little slow on shipping and seem to sit a little before shipping out stuff... As far as RMA's I have sent a lot of stuff back that was bad... I sent a 1.2 duron back after having it for a month and a half...I have sent other CPU's back also that were DOA. Bad hardrives, and serveral bad monitors...so I think they stand behind everything they sell very well.. One thing everyone needs to remember is that they DONT MAKE THE STUFF and when something goes wrong its not because they sold you the wrong thing...its because you purchased the wrong thing or the item is bad....simple as that... if you follow what their website says..ie click on the contact us link and then follow the RMA process everything goes smooth as silk... Anyway that is my two cents again, and will continue to do business with them into the future."

"Had several problems with this vendor.
1) When I placed my order, on a Tuesday, I paid extra for 2nd day air shipping. The order was not sent from the vendor until Thursday which meant I got it the following Monday. So basically I paid extra for almost a week shipment. I would think regular shipping would have been as fast. The person taking the order should have told me my order wouldn't ship for 2 days and advised me not to use the additional expense shipping.
2) One of the chips I received was DOA. I contacted the Toll Free number and was greeted by a rather surly person who told me I needed to call another, toll, number. I called the 2nd number and yet again was told I needed to call a 3rd. When the 3rd person once more told me I had the wrong number and gave me yet another, the 4th, number I was livid. The 4th finally got me someone who told me I had to use the Web page to do an RMA anyway.

Personally this vendor is definitely off my list. Their customer service appears to leave much to be desired as does their methods for processing problems.

"Ordered components for a couple of PCs. This is maybe the 10th or so order I have made at 11cb. There are 3 things that keep me coming back:

1) Great prices. Even if they they are not the lowest the free shipping often makes 11cb an overall better deal.

2) Free shipping. No gotchas at the end of your order. Plus they are centrally located in Illinois, which means ground shipping is quicker than average.

3) Excellent service. Really, I mean it. I have returned a number of things and have never had a problem. Plus they have taken the time to troubleshoot over the phone with me. That said, however, I think it may be worth paying for the burn-in service, especially for memory. I will be returning one bad DIMM from this order and have had to do so a couple of times in the past, as well. This the manufacturer's fault, of course, not 11cb's, but it's still a pain and may be worth the $5 for the burn-in test since you have to pay to ship the item back anyway.

One drawback is that you only get 15 days FROM THE INVOICE DATE to return faulty items (30 at 11cb's discretion). This is fine for home users; they'll want to set the stuff up right away. But for a business it can be problematic. If you order components for a bunch of PCs, you better be ready to build and test them within a week--which isn't always easy to schedule.

Overall, they do a great job--and it is one guy in particular. Brian, I think his name is. You really do work with an individual, not a nameless mass of people.

"attempted to place an order to this company, website was easy to navgate, order was processed rapidly, CC issue cropped up, the company will not let you ship to a different address than billing, i recieved an email from them describing the problem with the CC, i had to call them dirrectly, spoke to one sales staff/customer service member and asked for speciffic person who sent email to me, staff member gave me the phone number, but would not transfer call, called back [second toll call], the gentelman was courtious, but refused to have the product shipped to the requested address, i have purchased over the internet with CC and have had issues with my CC before, but have always been able to talk to the sales staff and straighten any issues out, this company has a very strange policy with reguards to "ship to" addresses, i do understand that it probably is for their protection, but perhaps some flexability is needed on a case by case basis, but the company was not even willing to assist me in helping to resolve the issue, so a legit sale would be made. I requested the sale to be voided and they did comply within the hour by email, and stated that my CC was credited. On the whole the staff was plesent and followed my wishes, company policy needs to be examined perhaps, will watch company an see if anything changes in time. i had to much trouble in getting product shipped, so i took my business elseware, I had the same problem with my CC with the other company, but i was able to call them directly [toll free] and resolve the issue within 5 minutes.

i checked with my CC provider, reseller did credit my acct the same day, as they stated in the email to me. so I have no issues with the ability to cancel the sale on the request, perhaps in time this company will become a better company, only time will tell on this. But it will probably be quite a while before I concider reusing them, I certainly hope they take the time to investgate their procedures and revamp the system, and perhaps a bit of customer relations education for thier staff would be in order as well, personaly I have worked in a service related field for 10+ years, This is for the Walt Disney co, working with the public in the park, I do have some background in the customer service field.

Ordered a part which was described as "DDR 128MB PC2700 333MHz Samsung" When it was received, on it there was a sticker which read "333MHz". The part number on the modules is K4H280838D, however, which according to Samsung is not rated to 333 MHz.

"This company is a class act. Online ordering was simple and their prices are great. They even offer free shipping on all items. "Tried to purchase from these jerks. Price for a stick of PC66 RAM was $19 with free shipping on their page. I called in to order, after being passed to 5 people who don't speak English I get to talk to Ray who seems nice enough.....Until I go to order, then it is suddenly $18.95 plus 3% for putting it on credit card and shipping on top of that! After refusing to honor the web site pricing I ask to speak to the owner. David or some asian guy gets on the phone, he asks me all my personal information but refuses to give me his last name...ONLY that he is the owner of the business. I am a large reseller and shop a lot with a lot of companies and this is by FAR one of the worst bunch of jerks I've ever dealt with. BEWARE of these people.

"A nightmare! Used car salesmen! I bought 2 x PC2100 Registered ECC DDR DIMMS; turns out they sporadically crash my Athlon/ASUS A7M266-D board. Defective product means prompt, curteous refund, right? Not with T&S d/b/a 11CB.com! Here's where the "fast talking used car salesman" attitude shows: "Shawn" tries to tell me it's my fault, until I show him the ASUS Web site where it clearly specifies Reg/ECC/PC2100. Then a manager tells me about a 20% "restocking fee". For PC2100 product that apparently has never been tested in a PC2100 environment??? It's not that I simply didn't like the color of the DIMM modules--we're talking about real defect or incompatibility. It's clear that their goal is to make the profit (aka "restocking fee") even on defective merchandise. I have today filed a dispute with VISA and the IL Attorney General at http://www.ag.state.il.us/pdf/conscomp.pdf -- folks, pay a little more but buy your parts somewhere else where they want happy long-term customers, not a fast buck. This outfit acts like a bazaar vendor in Istanbul ("you touched it, you buy it"), not like the service-centered operation they make themselves look like.

*** UPDATE 9/19/02 3:43 PT *** Comment on their reply: The item is defective, thus no restocking fee. Very simple. It's not reasonable to expect customers to ship a few sticks of RAM back and forth for several weeks to figure out some obscure problem which you seem to blame on the motherboard, while the server I'm looking to deploy has no memory. Your PC2100 ram is not PC2100 compatible and that's the end of it. In mail order, you have one(!) shot and you failed.

*** To anyone reading this ***: The fact alone that they keep trying to "win" this issue while holding my money and merchandise hostage should deter anyone from buying from them. Is it really worth saving a few bucks just to be in my shoes now? Since they are apparently not getting the message (FULL REFUND NOW), I will now complain to the FBI online fraud complaint center at http://www.ifccfbi.gov
