Keep in mind I am not with my daughter because of the deployment, my 19 MO Daughter is being watched by my mother. So a nice thank you was in order. Not only did the flowers not get delivered but the Lady that contacted my Mom was rude to her and hung up the phone. When my mom tried to call back they ignored her phone calls. When i contacted customer service all they did was send it through a different florist. To top it off this was their second chance. Last year the same thing happened, but I found out a week after the flowers were suppose to be delivered that they hadn't been. Did I receive and e-mail or phone call...NO. I think this company takes your money and half the time doesn't deliver what you ordered. Check up on them and make sure they are doing their job...This could happen to you. Its happened to me twice. I ordered the two dozen roses including delivery for a total of $47.83...and was assured that they would be delivered Saturday BEFORE Mother's Day....well, nothing came, and the phone rep apologized to me for the inconvenience (I reminded her that it was my MOTHER that was inconvenienced!) and that this was my first and last time using this company. They advertise on the radio here in Rochester NY ad nausium and I will admit the price was right--too good to be true, as it turns out. "I ordered the "Martha Stewart Graceful Pink Rose Topiary" for a friend for Mothers Day. There were no problems with delivery but the "topiary" was awful. The pic. on the site show's a very manicured topiary, which is what a topiary should be. What arrived was anything but. It had no shape to it at all. It looked like a wild rose bush on a stick. I was very disapointed and a little embarrased. I wouldn't have paid $20 for that let alone $69.95 + shipping! "
"Worst experience ever! I scheduled a delivery for today, Mother's Day, they rescheduled it to yesterday instead. According to 1-800 Flower's they delivered it yesterday, but they never did eventhough my parents were at home all day. I called last night to have them reschedule. After waiting on the phone for a half an hour, they said they would reschedule and send me an e-mail. When I woke up this morning, no e-mail. I called again. They said there was no redelivery scheduled and they left the flowers with neighbors. The rescheduled the delivery and tried to call the florist who was apparently closed. Rather than give it to another florist who is open, they advised me to wait until the end of the day and if it wasn't delivered they would reschedule the delivery for tomorrow - the day after Mother's Day. So now 1-800 Flowers has ruined my mother's Mother's Day."

Later in the day I got a call from 1800Flowers apologising and saying that they wouldn't be able to deliver that day but that they could be there first thing the next morning (today). I called mid-day today and the automated system told me that the flowers hadn't yet been delivered. Then I call again this evening only to be told that they still didn't deliver and the customer service rep can re-submit the order if I want. Well what good would that do if it didn't work yesterday and it didn't work today. Maybe they'd arrive by her next birthday? If they couldn't do what I ordered, they shouldn't have accepted the order in the first place. I could have gone to a company that knew what they were doing. "wow do i wish i checked the ratings before i ordered for my boyfriends grandmother's funeral. order placed @ 10 in the morning, for same day delivery. the wake was 5-8, and the funeral service was @ 1 on saturday. by 7 o clock when the flowers weren't there, i called and checked, and found out they had put it off and would be delivered in the morning. or, so they said. they were never delivered, and after the church service was over, before we went to the cemetery, i called from the FUNERAL home to cancel the order. she was so sweet and sincere. told me she wanted to credit me the flowers, and offered me the 20 coupon. i told her she could keep her 20, but i graciously accepted her offer to credit me for the flower arrangement. WOW WOW WOW WOW. it hurt our feelings they never showed up, but what do you do about that? never EVER will we order anything from them or any of their affiliates."

My boyfriend, who is a United States Marine, is away at training and had ordered flowers to be delievered to me last week. They were to be delievered on March 30th and when I had not received them as of April 1st, I called to check on them. The order had not even been sent! The lady I spoke with offered a full refund, a $20 gift certificate, and said that the flowers would still be delivered. As of Monday April 5th, I still had not received the flowers, so I called again. The new lady I spoke with said that the order would be re-ordered and delivered on Tuesday April 6th. It is now April 8th and I still have not received my flowers! I called ONCE AGAIN! And this time I was told that I would not be receiving the flowers because my boyfriend had been refunded his money. This is a total disaster. I can't believe I was told by 2 different people that I would be receiving my flowers and then by a 3rd that I wouldn't. I will never be ordering from them again. 20 minutes after ordering, Bloomex.ca phoned (1-800-Flowers) to advise that nobody under their contract delivers in the evening in my area (suburban London), and the flowers would have to be sent by CanPar (courier); sometime the next business day.
The flowers arrived at 5pm the next day, and 1-800-Flowers processed the credit card charges as if they honored the delivery request I originally requested and charged the $38.37 delivery fee for Flowers that came in a cardboard box by courier a day later, not the same day in evening I requested and paid an extra $38.37 for!
The flowers did not look anything like the picture on their website, and I paid $140.00 for check-out flowers, that would have been $19.98 if I went to the local discount grocery store, no vase, nothing!
I wrote an email to 1-800-Flowers advising that they charged my credit card for the original delivery terms that they could not live up to, and here it is March 1 - and they have failed to reply or credit the difference back to my credit card.

"Customer Service is horrible. I did a 2 free movie tickets promotion, where 1800flowers works with trialpay to get you the tix. They did not send them to me, and the rep said it was not her problem because its trialpay. I explained to her it was 1800flowers as they are the ones taking my money, so if they do not tell trialpay to send the tickets to me, then its 1800flowers problem. When I asked to speak to a supervisor, she said they cannot do anything more for me, so i asked again and then she just said have a good day and hung up on me!!! This lady wasted 35 minutes of my time, she had no idea about the promotion...which is still currently active...and then just read to me the info in fineprint that I already read on the website. If 1800flowers takes a customers money for a promotion they are responsible for that promotion, no matter if they have outsourced that work to a separate company.
A company needs to have good customer service and follow through on their promotions. If not they are never getting my business, and I'll be forthright about letting everybody I know not to order from them...
