Unfortunately the flowers never showed up and I was left looking like an inconsiderate boyfriend. I tried calling customer service but like everyone else I was either hung up on or put on hold until my phone ran out of battery. "My boyfriend ordered me flowers using this service. It was our first time using it and yeah...they came the day after Valentine's day. Their excuse was inclement weather...but we live in Texas, and it was 70 and sunny here. Pretty lame. I felt bad for him; he was pretty embarrassed that they didn't come. We couldn't get through to them for the longest time, either. They finally offered to give us a gift certificate for more flowers...but clearly, we probably shouldn't rely on them again. I just felt bad for the poor flowers, because when I got them today, they looked so sad and thirsty! "
"Really just writing this to vent a little as my experience was identical to everybody else's. Ordered 10 days ago for Valentine's Day, ad received an email to say they'd been delivered. However, they NEVER ARRIVED. Telephone system just hung up on me when I called and no response from the three emails I sent. Felt like such a cheapskate loser forwarding the delivery confirmation email to my g/f to show I did send flowers. I'm in a different country right now so couldn't even pick her up a bunch at the store. NEVER use this company!!"
"I had the worst experience with 1-800-Flowers.com. I placed an order online on 02/04/2011 for a bouquet of flowers and candy to be delivered on Valentines Day! I figured 10 days was ample time to place an order and to be contacted back if there were any problems. (My order was never Delivered!) It is not like it can just be re-sent, Valentines only comes once a year! I tried contacting customer service several times and kept getting hung up on by the automated system after it told me all their floral experts were busy and to go online. I went online to place a complaint and was never contacted by online support either. I finaly got a hold of a customer service representative by choosing phone options like I was going to place a new order. The representative could not provide any reason or even an attempt to make up an excuse as to why my order was never shipped, all the representative would offer was to give me 50% credit and re-ship the order. Hello! Valentines Day has come and gone! I really felt worthless and cheap when my girlfriend never got her flowers. I will never order from them again!

"I ordered Valentine flowers on 1-31-11 for my wife, and they were never delivered even though they were "out for delivery" on the designated day. I tried to contact their customer service people through their 800# on 2-14 and their 800# recording told me that they were nbot accepting calls and I had to send an email through the website. Of course I did and it was never answered. On 2-15-11 I opened two chat sessions and was told they would issue a full credit and still deliver fresh flowers today, not the one's on the truck from 2-14. No flowers have arrived today, and their customer service person is in the proces of contacting the florist to find out what the problem is. Terrible customer service and I will never use them again.

"My experience was the same as the other reviews. This company is not prepared to handle a high demand of orders. I ordered a Valentine's Day gift for my boyfriend and they never delivered. It was hell trying to get through to customer service, as there lines were very busy. I must have gotten hung up on by their automated system 20 times before staying on queue for 30 min for an agent. The agent called the local florist, which did not answer the phone. It was a horrible experience and completely killed the Valentine's Day mood.
I called today (following morning) and they still had a high call volume. I waited exactly 20 min to get an agent on the line, but they refunded my money.
Needless to say, I WILL NEVER ORDER FROM 1800 FLOWERS.COM. !!!!!!!! "
"HORRIBLE!!!!!! & on all days, Valentine's!!! You think they will come all pretty like they show you on the website... but NO! Instead they show up in some crappy box, that came SUPER DAMAGED, cracked vase & horrible roses! Called customer service & waited over 30 min to get told they're sorry and will redeliver by the end of the day. Day 2 & NOTHING!!! Called and waited ANOTHER 30 mins to only get told they were notes of a redelivery & they will send them again w/ a sorry note.... total B.S! COuldn't tell me when or what or ANYTHING, only to look out for a $20 gift card... for what?! to wipe my a** with b/c i WILL MOST DEFINITELY NEVER EVER EVER ORDER FROM THEM EVERRRRR AGAIN!!! "
