"Avoid this company at all cost! I had two kayaks sent to their company warehouse for delivery and they have now been sitting there for two weeks with no confirmed delivery schedule yet. I contacted them via phone and couldn’t get any answers. They are terrible!!!!!"
"Placed order in June and was "lost" second order beginning of July hasn't arrived after more than a month. Supposedly shipment is sitting in warehouse for past 20+ days. The updates keep showing will be delivered on today's date, but nobody has scheduled with me. Call and "caller 45" wait forever, then get hung up on. Call back and FINALLY talk to someone who will call me back and no call back. Horrid. Avoid at all expense."
"Horrible company. My package was delivered 3.5 weeks late. Then I recieved a call from the regional manager that they would deliver my couch the following Tuesday. However, come Friday, I got a call that my couch was to be delivered in 10 minutes. I was out of town. Luckily, my father lives close so he was able to run over for pickup. When he arrived, the delivery men cussed him out for being late. I contact AM Trucking about the issue and about arriving with 4 days early with only a 10 minute warning and they responded essentially saying I was lying about the whole situation. HORRIBLE COMPANY. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE."
"I spent 3 hrs to confirm delivery that shown up 4 hrs. before scheduled estimated drop off."
"I genuinely feel bad for the businesses that use this company for their LTL shipping. AM Home Delivery generates an unbelievable number of customer service calls to the businesses that use this company to ship their items. AM Home Delivery's customer service reps can only confirm or reject the randomly scheduled delivery dates THEY choose. When you try to ask for a date that you can actually be home to receive your shipment they tell you they will request it but cannot guarantee the date you want. Then they toss your request in the trash and go back to scheduling the delivery when THEY want to deliver to you again, which never happens to fall on a day you can be available. So you have to start all over again, and the stupidity goes on and on and on. We are on our second delivery with this dog and pony show. The first time I ended up having to have my 85 year old parents come out to receive our dishwasher as we could not get AM to deliver on a date we chose. Our dishwasher came wrapped in three quarters of a mile of shrink wrap concealing major damage to the dishwasher. The top was caved in so bad that the top rack would not pull out of the dishwasher. Thankfully the retailer has shipped a replacement. Unfortunately they used AM Home Delivery again and we are months out now and still unable to get the dishwasher here when we can be home. I cannot believe how much time I have wasted on the phone trying to get this delivery done!
To all online retailers: DO NOT USE AM HOME DELIVERY for your LTL shipping! They are hurting your business and consuming vast amounts of your customer service rep's time! Try XPO Logistics or SAIA. I have had quantumly better service from these companies! "
"They are horrible. It’s been over a month since my furniture was shipped and it’s been sitting in their warehouse for a while now like an hour and a half away from us. They keep telling me that they haven’t put my delivery on schedule yet and when they finally do put it on schedule and I confirm it, they call me back and say that they won’t make it. Customer service is useless!!! I spent hours waiting on the line and when I ask to be transferred to the manger, they say sure and transfer me to a random line that goes to voicemail and I never receive a call back. I emailed asking for a manager and nothing. I still don’t have my furniture!!! Beware of them!!!"
"If the was a -1 I would select it. Was promised a delivery over one month ago from PolyandBark.com via delivery from AM Home Delivery. My couch has been in their warehouse for exactly one month now. Each week I’ve been given an ETA and then received a cancellation at the end of the week. We went the rounds for four weeks with a definite 100% promise of delivery late yesterday. Got a call after hours that it would be another week. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY EVER. Shame shame shame on polyandbark.com for partnering with them."
"This is by far the worst delivery company that I have ever dealt with. They took 3 weeks from receiving my order to even schedule the delivery/installation of my washer and dryer pedestals. I finally got a voicemail message that they would arrive between 2:30pm-6:30pm and never followed up. I got a call about 8pm from the dispatcher stating they will drop off the pedestals but did not have the shoulder straps to perform the installation, which would have to be a return appt. The crew was rude, and made consistently negative comments about the dispatcher not advising them blah blah blah.
I expected that it would be treated as a priority but after a week of waiting for an appt call, I called them. Good luck with that approach. I called and was 30 calls deep in queue and each time I got to the final 4 the call was disconnected. They offer a call back or email for quicker service, don't even bother, after 3 weeks I'm still waiting for that to happen!
I finally looked up the contact info for the NJ office and spoke with Cheryl, who was very nice but needed to contact the delivery manager to see when a truck would be in my area so that they could piggyback the appt. I told Cheryl that I have already waited my fair share and because your team did not come prepared for the job, I should not have to wait until you have a truck and crew available in my area to finish the job you were already paid for in advance.
I waited for the call and was notified a few days ago that my delivery was scheduled for Tuesday, June 15th, 2.5 months after I ordered the product. The delivery window was 2pm-6pm and I confirmed that I would be available at that time. I took the afternoon off so that I can be present during the install, as I have limited trust in this operation after everything that has transpired so far.
Guess what? I just received an email that my delivery is coming and I should be prepared. This time, the delivery window was scheduled to be 11:30pm - 4:30am WTH?!?!?!
I called them back and waited in queue for 27 more calls. I got Adrian who stated that there appeared to be two separate orders and my delivery time is really scheduled to be 10:22am tomorrow. That would now be the third different time that I have been scheduled for within the last 3 days. This is the most rinky-**** operation that I have ever dealt with in my 56 years on this earth.
I am not sure how they remain in business, but they shouldn't be allowed to continue to offer this level of frustration. Don't just believe me, go to the BBB website and look at their stellar 1.23 of 5.0 rating. Only 157 complaints during the last 3 years and 80 of those within the last year (79 + mine)."
"They are a complete joke. My washer and dryer have showed in transit for 6 weeks not and no one there will give me an answer as to when I will see my items. Definitely one of the worst companies I have ever dealt with."
"We have dealt with numerous delivery companies and this is by far the worse.
We have been dealing with this company for over 5 weeks trying to set up a delivery. Our stove has sat in a warehouse in Iowa (we live in MN) and the people you call are in NJ. There is NO communication at all and the staff is clueless about what the status of the stove is, how to set up a delivery etc. Every time we called, which is numerous over the past 5 weeks, they tell us we will contact you to set up the delivery. The first time they called they said they could ONLY deliver on a day we both worked but needed us to be there. Fine so, we tried to reschedule and have even offered numerous days since, including offering entire weeks open and they still have not called back or arranged the delivery.
How a company can operate like this and stay in business is beside me.
Do Not use them or buy appliances from Appliance Connection, It is not worth headaches.
Unhappy and still waiting for our delivery. "
"I don't even know where to begin. I am so upset. We ordered a bar from AFA Stores and AM Home was to delivery. We bought with AFA Stores because included in the price was the item being placed in room of choice and debris removal. AM Home delivery was supposed to have delivered the product between April 26th and the latest by May 5th. I called the end of April and was told it would be there that Friday. I explained that no one is home until after 3:00pm. I was assured they would schedule my delivery after that time due to my service included putting the product in the room and removing debris. Friday came and went and no one came. I called several more times and was told they were working on the delivery schedule. I then got an email they would delivery my product on Wednesday between 10:30-12:30pm. I made sure someone was at the house in order to make this happen. No one showed up. After several more calls I was told it would be delivered tomorrow (May 13th) between 7:00am-9:30am. I once again made arrangements for me to be home (off work) to receive the shipment. This shipment was also confirmed by a supervisor, Adrianne today. I get a call at 4:30pm today stating they are an hour out and will be delivering it today. Luckily I was home and all was well... I was excited. Two males arrive to my house an hour and half later. The taller male (says his name was Dre) immediately states that the item will not fit in our basement. I proceed to tell him I have already measured it every way and it has plenty of room to fit. He begins to argue with my and states that he will not put it in the room. At one point I made the comment that we may just end up having him take the package back with him and the company would then be out the $1,500 we spent. He happily informed us that his company won't loose any money... Nice of him to care about the company that contracted him to do business. He begins to load the bar back into his truck. I ask him to please put it in my garage then and unbox it as that is part of the service. He again states he will not unbox it nor remove debris as it is not his responsibility. My husband then unboxes it and we ask him to please wait to leave so we can confirm we accept the product as company policy is that once accepted it is on us. He and his partner then left before we could even get it out of the box!!! I have everything on video. I have never in my life come across someone so argumentative and unprofessional. They left as I sat there crying in disbelief of what just happened.
I have no been trying for the last hour to get ahold of a supervisor about what just happened from AM home delivery. I have been hung up on and transferred to a voicemail three times. I am currently waiting on hold for the fourth time. I just can't believe what just happened and how this company is running!! "
"They called and stated they will be there in 30 mins. I left work, waited for two hours, nothing. I called the customer service number (if you want to call it that). Rep states they tried delivering nobody was home. I told her this was a absolute lie. She said she will contact her manager and he'll call me and that never happened. I did get a email that they will reschedule and put a priority on it. No follow up or time frame. Save the headache and steer clear from this inept, sham company. I wish I would have read the reviews before."
"We were told our delivery was 15 minutes away, but hours later it had not arrived and we were unable to reach anyone via phone or email. Allegedly the driver showed up and no one was home - which is news to me because I was home with my phone on loud and no one knocked/called/anything. Eventually got in touch with customer service and they offered no support or resolution. No explanation & no guarantees they won't just do the same thing over again when they get around to attempting delivery again. "
"1 star is too many. Their entire purpose is delivery. I will be at 16 days just to get my order delivered from across the same state. They have a very serial process which means that they can not think ahead to their 2nd or 3rd step. They need to complete step one before thinking about step 2. For example, they need to move the delivery from Southern California to a warehouse in Northern California. Then they set up delivery. They do not plan delivery even though they know it is in route from their own team. And they may only make a delivery to your area once a week. So when they miss the connection you wait another week. If they have a paperwork issue, then there is another week. They are just as slow to respond to your email status update request. They claim that they are buried with email - reason is because everyone is looking for their stuff and they don't provide updates. Half the time, there is no reply. The phone customer service people are very polite but they are too isolated from the real operation so I found them of no help. If you find that you are set up with AM Delivery, save yourself alot frustrating and order with someone else."
"These guys are incompetent and don't give a s__t. 3 visits, each time forgot the steel braded hoses that were part of the order with the new $2K washing machine. 1st time left without removing shipping bracket and balancing with a level in addition to not bringing new hoses. Machine just about exploded. 2nd time didn't know why they were returning and had to be instructed where to find and remove shipping bracket and still forgot hoses. 3rd time why they kept appointment, when they showed they still didn't have hoses and wouldn't stay to balance the machine. 4th time I should be charging them for my time. What is a consumer to do. Waste my valuable time excoriating them on the web. Just enables them to hide behind a computer. If your delivery is with this company, you've been forwarned. Demand another one with some professionalism etiquette and decency. They ****. Or call like I did multiple times @ ***-***-**** and complain till they go out of business, which is where they belong"
