Incredibly fast, boots up in under 20 seconds with plenty of fast storage, all the ram I need and space for more as well as dedicated video for the price I paid nothing short of amazing. Solid cooling and a very nice looking display too. I’m completely satisfied. "I have been buying computers from Joe Mundy at AVADirect for over a decade. I am incredibly picky about my builds, and have been known to need dozens of email exchanges to sort them out. Joe answers all of them, question by question, even when I have given him a long numbered list. I plague him with half-understood articles about parts and their interactions, or worries about reliability, or noise, or future-proofing that I've picked up online somewhere. Joe fields all of it with aplomb and humor. I make terrible parts choices and he gently guides me back to reasonable and mutually-compatible ones. The machines I receive are invariably in excellent condition, and I have never had one give me any trouble that wasn't my own fault (put EVERYTHING through your surge protector is the lesson here). They last me for years and give complete satisfaction. They are thoroughly tested, exactly as I ask them to be prepared ( I usually have long custom order instructions), and I have never yet encountered even the tiniest whiff of bloatware. I receive ALL of the additional accessories and parts that ship with the components I have ordered, down to the last disc, manual, screw and decal.

Questions I have after delivery are answered just as thoroughly and promptly as during the sale. Their system configuration is one of the best, if not the very best, I have encountered. "I used the AVADirect website to design a custom computer for use as a virtual lab. I then connected with Kyle who made recommendations in regards to compatibility and design to better align my choices with my design intent. His recommendation saved me money as well! When the machine arrived I was a little surprised at the case size but quickly grew to appreciate the room and upgradability should I decide to add components in the future. The cabling was tidy and the cooling excellent (and quieter than my mini ITX custom machine from another vendor). I had a couple of post-sales questions that were answered quick and professionally by the support team.

"3 months ago I purchased a 17" laptop based on a Clevo model from AVA Direct. The Sales & Support rep, Kyle, was extremely helpful in getting exactly the configuration I wanted. After the laptop arrived, I set it up for my wife's use.

This is actually the 2nd Clevo-based laptop I own (the 1st is a 15.6" unit purchased from a different vendor). Both are excellent in terms of physical layout, stability, sturdy construction, and a feeling of being bullet-proof, unlikely to fail.

This 17" is excellent in others ways: it has an IPS panel/screen that is very easy on the eyes, a huge upgrade from cheaper TN panels; has an illuminated keyboard that can easily/permanently be brightness-adjusted (rare to find this in an affordable laptop); and it has been tweaked & configured by AVA Direct in ways that make it easier to use.

Of course I don't know what the future holds--how well this laptop will behave in the coming years. But so far, it gives every indication of being a machine that will quietly go about its business, trouble-free.

Overall, this has been an excellent purchasing experience, and I will definitely consider AVA Direct for my future hardware purchases."
