They don't carry parts and the split A/C unit I bought was made in China and there is no way for me to get parts from China. Air-n-Water doesn't even provide information to obtain parts from another supplier. "
"I ORDERED A NEW AIR ACP-1400E, IT ARRIVED WITH THE UV LIGHT BROKEN AND IN THREE DAYS THE BLOWER WHEN ON HIGH WOULD MAKE A GRINDING NOISE, I CALLED THEN FILLED OUT A RMA FORM ONLINE, ANOTHER UNIT CAME AND WITHIN THREE HOURS IT LOST ALL OF IT'S FREON, I NOW E-MAILED THE CONTACT WHO I HAD AT AIR-N-WATER AND SHE SENT OUT ANOTHER EXCHANGE, WHICH WHEN IT ARRIVED (LAST TWO PACKED UPSIDE DOWN) IT STARTED TO LEAK WATER FROM THE BOTTOM OF THE UNIT, THE NEXT UNIT WORKED REASONABLY WELL, IT PUT OUT AIR AT 50 DEGREES IN AN 80 DEGREE ROOM, HOWEVER IN ONE MONTH THE UNIT WOULD ONLY PUT OUT AIR AT 60 DEGREES IN AN EIGHTY DEGREE ROOM, I CONTACTED THEM AGAIN, THEY SAID ALL THEY COULD DO WOULD BE REFUND MY MONEY BY CHECK - I DO NOT KNOW HOW LONG THIS WOULD TAKE, THEY REFUSED TO EXCHANGE IT FOR ANOTHER MAKE OF A/C - I AM SATISFIED WITH THEIR ATTEMPT TO SEND OUT UNITS, BUT THEIR INVENTORY IS IN HORRIBLE SHAPE AND THEN THEY LEAVE YOU WITH THE CHOICE OF HOLDING YOUR MONEY AND NOT HAVING AN A/C UNIT IN THE MIDDLE OF SUMMER. A BAD CHOICE IF YOU ASK ME!!!!! A MUCH BETTER CHOICE IS QUALITYMATTERS, THEY ARE IN OREGON AND SHIP DIRECT FROM AT LEAST AMCOR AND THE PRICE IS EQUAL OR LESS THAN AIR N' WATER'S MOST OF THE TIME; I HAVE KEPT A LOOK OUT ON THIS FOR MONTHS."
"I ordered a New Air AF-340 cooler which, while not defective, turned out to be an inferior product. Air-n-Water accepted my criticisms and exchanged it at no charge whatsoever for a Symphony Surround. They paid all shipping. The whole process was nearly transparent and took all of three days. Excellent service and support! (BTW, the Symphony Surround is the best personal evap cooler I've ever owned.)"

"I did a huge amount of research online before ordering from Air & Water, Inc. I'm pleased. Things went smoothly in ordering online. I just had to call them the next a.m. to get a special discount as it didn't go through when I ordered online as I mistakenly put the discount code # in "quotes." A very nice and knowledgeable young woman in sales immediately gave me the discount. We got the portable air conditioner within a week. The appliance is attractive, quiet, and works well to cool. It took me 2.5 hours to unpack the box, read the instructions, figure out how to do things, and put up the window exhaust kit (slider panel that fits in the window to seal it and the exhaust hose fits into to vent the hot air from inside a room)."

"This is the second order that the product arrives broken or deffective. First time return process was easy; this second time I'm receiving no return number and a suggestion that I don't know how to plug in the cooler that does not turn on at all. Quality control is poor or nill in my opinion. Unfortunately I have not been able to find another on-line store so I may have to cancel cc payment and just go to Home Depot or Lowes. Coupons sent with the packing slip expired last fall. Telephone customer service is not helpful bc she doesn't know anything about the products so cannot understand the questions.
