"See update below. DO NOT ORDER FROM AIRSPLAT ON THE INTERNET IF YOUR BILLING ADDRESS AND SHIPPING ADDRESS DON'T MATCH. If they don't match they will ONLY ship to your billing address. We are out of town and did not notice their disclaimer during the ordering process; it is costing us not only extra shipping and intercept charges but the 4 day delay in delivery, which of course is an extreme disappointment for our son's birthday. I had to spend 31 minutes on the phone and $26 in extra shipping charges, when a simple 2 minute phone call from them to clarify the discrepancy in the beginning would have taken care of it. UNBELIEVABLE. And the only thing the customer support people could say is "I'm sorry mam but you should have read the information we provided during the ordering process." They really DON'T care about their customer's satisfaction to let this kind of thing happen. It obviously happens a lot since they are in the process of "fixing" their online ordering process. I can't imagine EVER ordering from them again. Good luck if you do. There are many gotcha's. This would NEVER happen on Amazon, my favorite online provider.

This is an update. I spoke with Mario and they have agreed to refund the additional shipping costs. I am very appreciative that they have responded to my dissatisfaction. More importantly, they have changed their policy and there will be no more confusion about shipping addresses differing from billing addresses. So this won't happen to anyone else. We did receive our order on the 5th day and the products were as shown. My son is very happy with them."

"This is the worst online retailer I've ever deal with. I've just purchase the JG T3-K3 G3A3 Airsoft Electric Gun 100 on 3/29/2010. I've discovered that on many occasions that even when the trigger is released, the gun just keeps firing until I put the safety on. I obviously RMA the gun. I shipped the gun on 4/14. Airsplat then said they've had 3 techs test the gun and it was fine. They would return the gun to me. When I receive the gun, it was someone else's gun and I've had to ship it back. This was on 4/28. They then said they will credit my account upon receiving that person's gun which they finally acknowledge on 5/13. To date, I have not receive my money back. I'm going to report them as a fraudulent merchant to my credit card company.
DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!!
Update: Airsplat called me and claimed they credited my account. They told me to call my bank to verify. The bank told me that NO credit transaction was submitted from Airsplat to my account.

After posting this harshly negative review on Airsplat, I was contacted about a week later by a very nice support staffer "Josh". He repeatedly apologized about the situation and attempted to find the root of my issues. Although this was a nice "follow-up" of my case, (which -by the way- was only brought up due to my review on this site) his excellent efforts came much too late to have any effect on my experience with airsplat. In order to "quell" my anger with their company, Josh shipped 6 CO2 Cartridges ($3.00) free of charge to me. Why they didn't use this money to upgrade my shipping is beyond me.
Thank you Josh for a job well done, unfortunately, it was a job done too late.

"My son bought an airsoft gun from airsplat.com and it quit working after 2 days. The only info we got with the gun was the book from the gun manufactorer in which the trouble shooting section said to check the gear on motor as it might need replaced. I determined the gear was fine and e-mailed airsplat on the issue. To my dismay they said that since i took the 2 screws out to check the gear that this was a breech of their policy (a policy that did NOT come with the order) and they would NOT stand behind their 30 day warranty. Please let everyone know that this company does not care about its customers all they care about is taking a kids money. What a disgrace, I personally will never let either of my kids buy from these lowlifes again."
"I first got an airsoft gun a few years ago and it wasn't til Modern Warfare 2 came out that I got back into it. After visiting airsplat.com though I began to get serious with airsoft. So far I have bought 2 electric assault rifles (both are excellent and very realistic), a tactical vest, and a couple extra magazines. All of them came either the day of or a day before the expected arrival date. I'm also hoping to get a pistol and sniper rifle too. After getting my guns my friends and I have already began build our own course which is pretty legit. Two of my friends have already purchased from this site after seeing my stuff. I was a bit hesitant about buying from here because I usually don't buy off the internet, but I'm glad that I did order and I don't plan on stopping. "Don't blame this one on the child, as you did in the review above. We ordered a electric airsoft rifle from the company and when it arrived my husband, an engineer, carefully took it from pack and it didn't work. After some slooow email responses, we returned and after several weeks, we were sent a replacement - we decided to upgrade and get what we thought was a better quality item. It also didn't work --- straight from the box with husband engineer who knows what he is doing test it. Disgruntled, we immediately asked for a refund instead of an exchange as we now have to pay again for shipping and wait several weeks for a turnaround which is not acceptable. Company refused, saying policy is no refund unless you notify them 3 days from original purchase - problem is I didn't expect at original purchase to get two defective items????? I guess I will return and try again but am not satisfied with failure to stand behind their product. UPDATE - After reaching customer service, my husband got his questions answered quickly and happily. While we were frustrated initially, company made things right in the end! Good job and thank you."
