Yes they checked my defective gun, lubed it and sent it back completely free of charge! (if you don't consider the $20 it cost me to send it back) plus almost 4 weeks w/o the gun. And of course yes, it's still acting up. I finally have an email from Mario with his phone number. Never try the Customer Service number as it's off the hook all day.

"Ordered an AGM SCAR and NCSTar 4x32 scope. Ordering process was quick and easy, and went without a hitch. Items shipped out next day and arrived 2 days later via UPS ground. Both items were packaged well, and included some basic information about proper AEG use, which is a nice retailer add-on. Overall, everything went perfectly, as is my normal experience. Would certainly order from Airsplat again!"

"Update: After a customer service rep agreed to a full refund on the phone, I then received an email saying I'd need to give them a 5 star rating in order to get the refund. I discussed this with my son, and we agreed that this would be dishonest since even if they do give me a refund, we couldn't mislead other readers based on some strong armed tactics. The only thing we could agree to is to pull down a bad rating once they met their original commitment to refund our money. I'm just plain tired of dealing with these folks who say one thing and then do another. Best to just put the charge in dispute with our credit card company. These guys really know nothing about customer service and could use a whole shift in the process and approach. As the customer, you are always wrong and they are always right.

Note: After posting this review I was contacted by Customer Service at Airsplat and they are working to resolve my concerns.


Do NOT do business with Airsplat unless you want to waste hours and hours trying to communicate with their "technical support" group, receive mostly canned answers to all inquiries, receive products that aren't described properly on the website and aren't compatible with your airsoft gun, get charged for shipping and handling back and forth when products don't work, and generally get disgusted with their refusal to fix the problem.

I ordered two accessories for my son's airsoft guns. Neither of them worked properly. In trying to return them and get my money back, I found that they do everything possible to make the process so difficult and time consuming so you're just tempted to give up. First you have to complete a "questionaire" containing every detail of the order (even though they already have the order number), then you have to include a copy of all correspondence in the shipment back to them. They put very restrictive timeframes on receiving the product back and threaten not to accept the shipment if it's not received within 14 days of issuing the RMA and 30 days from original order. They take their sweet time in getting back to you and when they do, they use pre-written responses that don't answer your questions. When they do take the time to give you a personalized response, it makes the assumption that everything is the customer's fault. Don't even bother trying to cancel an order before it ships because they'll refuse to acknowledge the cancellation and ship the product anyway.

This is no way to run an internet business and I would recommend that the Buyer beware before getting involved with these people unless you want to spend bunches of money on shipping charges based on their misrepresentation of products and the worst customer service I've ever experienced."
