"These guys have the cheapest prices for airsoft stuff. With that in mind I don't expect the Ritz-Carlton. On the occasions I've gotten a lemon (when you're buying a Chinese clone, that's always a risk) or a missing item in my order, they've been very helpful when I call them on the phone. E-mail response is good but slow but they do follow through. I really can't complain. I don't know what happened with these other folks orders but I've ordered well over $2000 worth of gear last year and I'm 99% satisfied.

Hey, they're dirt cheap.
They're a legit airsoft retailer.
That's all anyone can hope for when buying online.

"Since writing this reply, Airsplat has refunded the price of the gun. No one should have to work this hard to get a refund on a defective purchase.

First revised:

It is true that Airsplat called us and offered to repair the gun.

This gun was not misused in any way. All directions were followed. It failed in normal use. Using the example of the car in Airsplat's response, imagine you carefully drove your brand new car home from the dealer, parked it in the driveway, and it would not start the next day. You pay to have it towed to the dealer. The dealer discovers there is no oil in the crankcase and blames you for the problem! The dealer puts oil in and offers you the car. Would you take the car back?

Airsplat offers no assurance tht the gun will not fail in another half hour of use. Therefore, there is no assurance that repair would do us any good. So we would end up with a warranty good for a total use of perhaps 45 minutes.

I would not shop with this seller again.

Initally Airsplat claimed we did not return all the accessories, but they appear to have retracted that false claim.

In trying to figure out what to do with the gun, we took this to another Airsoft retailer and an Airsoft repair center. The dealer told us that any reputable company would replace the gun.

Since this problem developed, we discovered that one of my sons' friends had exactly the same experience with Airplat. Airsplat also claimed all accessories were not returned and also claimed that the gun was misused. Seems like they have the warranty denial thing down to form letters.

By the way, what is the point of a fuse assembly if it melts under any circumstances? Does that sound like a well-designed, normally operating toy to you? I'm not sure why Airsplat does not simply return this defective toy to its manufacturer.

There are plenty of Airsoft dealers. There is no reason to deal with people who behave this way.

Toy gun was defective and returned within 30 days. They refuse to honor the warranty. They claim gun was abused, it was not. They claim not all parts returned; we returned everything we got. Their policies make it impossible to take advantage of warranty. Beware these are bad sellers. Do not buy from them under any circumstances.

"I ordered 1100 mL of green gas from AirSplat via their Amazon storefront. They shipped 1000 mL, as evidenced by their packing slip and the markings on the canisters themselves. Their customer service representative Trey told me I had paid for what I got, and implied there would be no RMA forthcoming. At that point I decided to invoke the FTC's rule on unordered merchandise. They shipped merchandise that was different from what I ordered, therefore they technically HAVEN'T shipped what I purchased and paid for. I am not one who would normally do this, but as you can see I tried to work with AirSplat. Had they simply said "sorry, we messed up, here's a UPS label" I would have had no problems sending it back to them.

REBUTTAL to AirSplat's response on May 30th:

1. AirSplat did not send me a free can of gas. They only OFFERED to do so. I refused the first time because they had told me the gas canister was misprinted. By the time they told me that, I had already used some of the gas, and so I could not accurately weigh it. As soon as I received the second order, they also offered it but I decided against doing business with them and told them I wanted to return everything. They refused. I would invite AirSplat to provide me with a tracking number for the free can of gas. I know they cannot do so because they never sent it.

2. The peanut butter analogy doesn't make sense. A 10 oz. jar may actually contain 10.1 oz., but it is sold as a 10 oz. jar. The same should apply here.

3. I ordered 1100 mL. They shipped 1000 mL. Period. That's evidenced by both THEIR OWN packing slip as well as the labeling of the canisters.

4. I did NOT tell AirSplat I was no longer interested in speaking with them. I simply told them I would be contacting Amazon for a refund because of their refusal to cooperate.

"These people should not be allowed to be in business!! They shipped late, sent a defective product and then wouldn't even answer the phone when I tried to get help. Called over 10 times during their stated business hours and was told they were "closed". Then sent e-mail after e-mail trying to get a replacement. No deal with Airsplat. They said sent it back at my expense and wait another 4 weeks, and MAYBE they would replace it. You just as well throw your money away as they care NOTHING about customer service."

"I hope this to be an objective review from my dealings with airsplat.

My first encounter with any purchases from this company was with my friends in an all day airsoft event. My friends had purchased 3 AEG sniper rifles and one AEG mp5. These guns dominated all day. They had excellent power, range and fps. I bought a Galaxy mp5k a week later from airsplat.com I shipped it with a 3-day select and it came right on time. The gun was in good order but missing a few small items such as the speed loader and sling. It took a while to connect to airsplat on the phone but when they eventually picked up they were very helpful and quickly shipped me the missing items.

I would buy from airsplat again but would advise the buyer to make sure to understand that the "what's included in the box" on the reviews with the guns does not reflect what comes in the package when you buy it. They are just reviews.

Overall, from my limited dealings with airsplat I have no complaints.

"I got enough money for my 16th birthday, and i had been wanting to buy a new air soft gun, i had my eye on this cool full metal MP5. I took about 4 maybe 5 days for my order to get here which is fine. First day was good, was having fun shooting cans, but on the second day i was shooting at a barrel, and the gun just stopped firing. I was very unhappy, I sent in an email, and they kept on sending me emails saying let their "professionals" figure out what the problem is. I had a 30 day warranty on my gun, but it took almost 30 days for me to get the receipt to send it back. Now its been almost 3 weeks, and i haven't got my gun or even a conformation email yet. VERY UNHAPPY!


Ok after playing "phone tag" for a couple days (not their fault) I finally got a hold of airsplat. I found out my motor was jammed, and i was notified but they sent it to my moms email, (also not their fault). I do apologize for such an angry review, the only reason it took so long for my gun to get back was because they had to order a new motor. Also the lady i talked was very nice, and very understanding. Finally after a few weeks of waiting i will be getting my gun back tomorrow!

"Product was defective upon receipt. Air Rifle Battery was replaced, but Airsplat refused to issue any warranty after product returned, Disenchantment with process, and customer service, (e-mail only). Requested RMA to return product, denied, saying warranty no longer in effect. Airsplat did not offer any options. Quote from their reply email, "We have to stick to our policies and guidelines otherwise we’d be out of business. I hope you can understand that. However, the fact still stands that this order is out of warranty."
My 14 year old son has never fired a shot from the product. I hope others understand my shot at AirSplat.Com

"Store provides a good variety of training items. However, does not have a 1-800 number nor does not respond quickly to emails. This leaves the customer with only one choice to expedite orders... calling long distance and incurring those costs. My email was dated 3/19.. it took 6 days to get a response. Due to the lack in urgency of responding to my email, I needed to pay $230 dollars in Overnight Delivery charges to ensure I get my equiptment on time. If the company would have responded earlier, I could have saved in shipping charges. However, the processing of my web order was handled proficiently and fast. Part of my order was sent Ground instead of Next Day and I wasn't informed about it. I recieved two tracking numbers labeled Next Day tracking number, but one was a Ground tracking number. Good thing I had enough of this item in stock to continue the training. As of today, it still has not arrived. I should have been warned that, that particular item can only be sent Ground so I could have made proper arraignments like ordering a week earlier. Overall, I give AirSplat.com a 7 out of 10. "

"I received my gun. Fired 5 or 6 shots then quit working(Iwas using high quality ammo). Paid $20 to send it back to airsplat. Got the gun back 3 weeks later with no paperwork stating what was fixed or what was wrong with it. I took it outside and it did the same thing again. i dont think they did anything at all to the gun. Now I have $155 invested in a gun that doesn't even work. Waiting to hear back. Very disappointed. Obviously, i go a defective gun and obviously they do not care about fixing them properly when they sre sent back to them. I would not have been as upset if they would have paid the shipping cost."

"This company is a scam. They sell sub-standard products and offer no real customer service. My son bought a gun from this company on Dec. 28. On Jan 9 I still had not received a shipping confirmation so I emailed the company only to learn that there was a delay in shipping. Their website claims that "We are The Nation's Largest Airsoft Retailer!!
We are a fully legalized corporation in the state of California.
We have The World's Largest Airsoft Inventory!
We have a 20,000 sq. ft. warehouse where all our merchandise is in-stock and available to be shipped immediately!" That's crock. On Feb 6 I emailed again regarding the status of this gun...still had not been shipped. I requested a refund later on that day since my son no longer wanted to wait - no repsonse. Asked for the refund again on Feb 16 again no response. The gun arrived a short time later. My son said this company was too much of a hassle so he kept the gun. One week later he goes to use to and it breaks on teh first day. I email and ask for a refund they are quick to email me back (same day) that they refuse to refund my son's money. They are a rip off...they only answer their emails when it's in their best interest. They offer a phone number which rings busy so you can't get through and no address is given it's all done through email.

Stay away from this company. All they are concerned with is taking your money and snubbing their nose at you when the payment goes through. Kent is the quote President of this company and he is doing a crappy job. Stay away from any other company he has his fingers in.

They contacted me just hours after I posted this. They said they are going to work with me and give me a full refund. I will update and change my review once I get my refund in full.

I got a refund of only 69.95 not the full refund of 95.00 like I was told. Unfortunately, when I call the number listed on the invoice it goes to a private voicemail.

I think this company tries to make every excuse under the sun in order to NOT give full refunds back to their customer. If airsplat truly valued their customer then why do we have to go through all of this just to get them to call and want to "work things out"? If they cared in the first place all of this stuff I'm going through would have been settled right away with no excuses and not restocking fees, inspections and passing costs off to me. Isn't that what mark-ups are for?

"My son saved his money and was finally able to order an air soft rifle. Airsplat has a good selection and good prices. The order shipped very quickly and we received it within a few days. Unfortunately, the gun was damaged. The barrel tip was cracked and the barrel had a big glob of glue at its base. It looked to me like it had been poorly repaired and sent to me. I called Airsplat and was emailed a questionnaire for an RMA. So far so good. Four days after submitting the RMA request I called again and was told that they would resubmit the request. A few days later I emailed again - nothing but form letter responses. I called again. That day I got a different questionnaire to fill out. I submitted it and got the standard form letter saying it could take up to 72 hours to respond. This is all within ten minutes of getting the questionnaire in my inbox. No response again. I've sent two other emails in the last four days letting them know that I was going to file a dispute with my credit card company. Just the form letter responses. I've filed the dispute. I can't believe they care so little about customers that they can't even respond.

I was foolish for not checking resellerratings.com before ordering with them.

UPDATE: Very interesting. Within 10 minutes of posting a negative review here I was contacted by airsplat. I have to admit that they were apologetic and seemed genuine in resolving the problems. I told them they only acceptable solution was for them to send me a new gun. If it couldn't arrive in two days (before I left on a business trip) then forget it. Well, they did it. The gun was in 'new' condition and they provided a return label for the broken gun.

So, I'm up in the air about them. It bothers me greatly that I couldn't get any response from them until I posted a negative review. On the other hand, once a certain level at the company knew of the problem they took care of me. Will I use them again? It is possible.

ANOTHER UPDATE: A few days after getting the gun I noticed the safety did not work. Can't blame Airsplat for that. I called (and talked to Mario). I asked to just return the gun for a refund so we could 'part ways'. He was happy to do it. I have to say once you can get their attention they work hard to please. I wonder how many people give up rather than finding a public forum like resellerratings.

LAST UPDATE: I can't believe it. Mario gave me an RMA. The outside of the box was clearly marked and there was information inside the box too. The delivery was signed for. 10 days after it gets delivered they send UPS to my house to pick it up. I checked my Master Card bill - no credit. I called and talked to airsplat they said my record shows a credit on 3/27 - fine - except Master Card shows I got charged $25 - not credited the $167 I was supposed to. I am so sick of this place. I left another message but I'm just done. Master Card can handle this. I would never buy from this company again - they are a total scam or totally incompetent. In either case - just stay away.

Note: I have changed my overall ratings yet again.
