"I'm not happy with any part of the purchase.

The price listed on the initial web site did not explain all the other items that would need to be purchased with the camera, e.g. battery amd memory card. When I received the phone call asking if I wanted to add those it felt like a loss leader espisode.

The shipping time was very slow. The invoice listed a total dollar value without any details as to what each of the "extra add ons" cost.

I called to request a detailed invoice and was told to call the person I originally talked to. I left a message on his voicemail but it was never returned.

To compound the bad experience, the camera failed on the second day of trying to use it.

"I placed an order for a camera 5 weeks ago. I still have not received the camera and no response to my e-mails requesting a status. The only status I can find is the word "processed" with my online inquiries. This obviously tell me nothing. I have tried calling with no success. I believe I have been more than patient. "PLEASE READ MY ENTIRE REVIEW AS IT CONTAINS THE GOOD AND THE BAD. It was good that I read the reviews on Ajrichies.com before I ordered so I knew what to expect. All the reviews I read about Ajrichies.com not processing your internet orders until you call them are true. The risk taker that I am, I took the chance and ordered a camera from them that was advertised for a very good price. They sent me an email a day later stating that they could not process my order until I called and verified the order. (So much for this being an internet sales.) Of course when I called, they went out of their way to try and sell me additional accessories (that were priced 2 to 10 times higher in price than what other retalers were selling them for) and extended warranty. After I insisted that I didn't need them and the sales person realized that I was not going to let him sell me the additional items he said that he would go ahead and process the order and than rudely hung up on me. The old bait and trap sales routine. However, once I got the sales pitch behind me I got a great camera at a great price. I just wish that they would follow the standard for internet sales and just process them as they receive them without the pressure sale pitch. Would I order from them again, Yes I would. I would just expect to go through the same process which is OK with me because I know how to say NO when pressured to buy things I don't want or need. Just remember that they will do everything they can to get you to call in so that they can "pressure sell" you into buying extras. JUST SAY NO, and you'll get a great deal."

"Just received my order from ajrichies and am very pleased. New Nikon D7000 w/new Tamron 18-270mm lens and items are perfect. Items were shipped quickly. I haven't used the camera yet but am anxious to try it out."

"shady company to work with! Crazy return policies; there is a reason they have the lowest prices on the web. The Christmas return window was pretty much impossible to deal with. Calls and emails to the customer service area were not answered; apparently there is no service after the sale. It is really hard to follow their return instructions when you cannot get a person on the phone. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE. Spend the extra few bucks and purchase from a reputable place with a warrenty. "

"It took 19 days to ship which I found too long. I would never order for Christmas from this seller. Customer service was poor. They did not ship the "extras" offered for ordering on this day.I thought I cancelled on the 22 of December but they shipped anyway."
