"This company is a scam and a rip-off . Their tactics are fraudulent, shady, and deceitful. I ordered an item and received confirmation of the order. Five days later, I received an email requiring “confirmation” of the order. I was told certain parts were not included unless I ordered additional items. I was also told the item would take 10-14 days to ship even though their website stated 1-2 days. I attempted to cancel the order, but was ignored until I actually got angry. Don’t waste your time. This company is crooked and dishonest."

I bought a very nice, factory fresh camera for a great price and registered it with no problem on the Canon USA website. There is very real customer support with almost instant response. Very impressive! Yes, they do try to sell additional products that are not quite as value priced as the camera, and yes they are very good at it, but they were always polite and knowledgeable. "I ordered a Fuji HS20EXR camera from AJRichies website because they had the lowest price I could find by nearly 20%. I also found that other stores that offer "price matching," would not match their price, which I found very odd. Now I know why.

I wish I had read the reviews here beforehand. My experience seems to be pretty typical.

I unwittingly ordered from AJRichies on Thursday, 02/09/12, and they called me on the following Monday, trying to up-sell me overpriced accessories (memory card, rechargeable batteries, etc..) which I politely declined. Then they asked if I had any questions and I said asked, "What's the hold up?" They said my camera would be shipped out immediately, they had JUST received the order and they needed to confirm my order prior to shipping.

So, 2 weeks later (on 02/24), still no camera. I should have acted sooner, but I checked the status on their website and it said, "IN PROCESS." So, I called customer service and they told me the camera was "out of stock and on order," they could not give an estimated delivery date. So, I called back to their sales dept. and asked if they had the camera available and they said, "Yes, it is showing as available at this time." So, I asked how long it would take to arrive, he advised, "7 to 10 days maximum." So, I asked why my order had not been shipped and it had been over 2 weeks. He told me they don't carry ANY stock, they are "just a call center." He could not offer an ETA and asked me to call back next week.

I then posted a negative review here and I start getting e-mails from them and finally a personal call from AJRichies. So, posting here does get real results. They told me they had ordered the camera from another retailer and were selling it to me "at a loss" and would "overnight it" to me (why he hadn't had it "drop shipped to me to save time and $, I don't know), IF I agreed to "revise" my review and "put more stars."

So much for "overnight," but, 2 1/2 days later, I had my camera in hand. So, even though it was promised to be here the next-day and it wasn't, I have updated my review and have added more stars.

If I had it to do over again, I would pay a bit extra and buy the camera elsewhere. I really cannot recommend AJRichies. I feel like they left me hanging and should NOT have told me they were shipping the camera when they called me to "confirm my order" 3 1/2 days after it was placed. They should have told me it was NOT in stock and offered to cancel the order at that time.

The only saving grace was ResellerRatings, which seemed to be the only way to actually leverage them to ship the item. It took 3 weeks, but I finally got it!

PS. If you do order from them and work, you may want to use a commercial address or your work address because they send "signature required" and that can be an issue if you won't be home to sign. They should warn you of that at checkout, but they don't. "

"Prices are good. Website is clean and easy to find what I want. Checkout is quick and easy. However, I am not happy with how the order was processed and shipped. It took 6 days after I ordered before I received a phone call to confirm my shipping and billing addresses. Why did it take that long when the checkout website said it would take 1-3 days for processing and shipping. My order was finally shipped on 28 Feb, 8 days after I ordered. By the time I expect to receive it, it would be approximately 12 days or more. I would give B+ to A- for everything else, but processing and shipping I would give C-. Definitely something Ajrichies.com needs to work on."

"I ordered a camera at a great price from ajrichies.com After three business days I still had not heard from them and had not received any info about the item being shipped. I contacted them and they tried to sell me a bunch of stuff I didn't need. When I didn't buy it they said it would take a couple more days to process the order and then ship it out and I would have it in 10 days. Later I got an email saying that it would be at least two weeks. I canceled my order.

They have great prices to get you in the door to sell you a bunch of other stuff. If you don't bite at their sales pitch you will get screwed. Get your stuff somewhere else!"

They showed a Nikon D7000 at a good price $1150.
So ... I emailed them and got confirmation that they had the camera in stock and ready to ship.
They called back the next day and wanted to know if I would like an english version or an import.
The english was $1450 and the import would take two weeks to arrive ...
I canceled the order ...

No where on the web page for the $1150 camera was the word import mention; or shipping time."

"they sent out the camera via UPS the same day as ordered. They offered accesories but I already have what I need from another canon I own. Once I recieve shipment I will post details on the order. Ok I am editing my review because the canon t3 just came to the door on the date it was supposed to. Everything is included in the shipment and brand new. they even threw in a 4 piece camera starter kit by vivitar at no extra charge.
