""I have never had a worse experience with an online store. They advertised a low price on an SLR camera body, after the order is placed, they call to "confirm" your order. While talking to you, they try to sell high-priced accessories for your camera. I didn't need any so I waited for my camera to be shipped. When I called a week later to check on it, after I gave my order number, I was placed on hold for more than 10 minutes. Never actually spoke to anyone other than the operator. A few days later I called and was told it was back ordered - it might be 4 weeks for delivery. When I called 3/20 to check on shipment date I was told the item was still on back order and it might ship in two weeks. I asked to cancel the order and told them they would be getting a poor review. The salesman told me he might be able to get the camera in two days. This is a company that falsely advertises low prices to get your phone number so they can sell additional items. The consumer protection agency should shut them down. They wasted a lot of my time unnecessarily. The same day I cancelled my order with AJ Richies, I ordered the same camera from another seller and the camera was shipped within two days. Customer service at that store was excellent." "

"Hands down the worst Customer Service Experience I have ever had. I called the 800 number to confirm the status of my order and was connected with a Cust Service person who tried to sell me a bunch of accesories to the camera that I ordered and I politely said no to all of them. I was then told that the item I bought did not come with a warranty and that it would ship in 10 business days. The website specifies on the Canon 60D usually ships in 1-2 days, and comes with a 1-year warranty. The CSR told me no warranty etc..... He then hung up on me. So I called back and decided to cancel my order because something smelled fishy , and when I got connected to the same guy, I told him I want to cancel my order. He says "it's cancelled" then hung up on me again. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS PLACE !! The prices are low for a reason...... I also want to add that within 30 minutes of posting this review I got a phone call from unlisted number and spoke with a "Manager" at ajrichies. He mentioned that he saw my review and wanted to see what he could do to change the situation. He told me that if he could get me a Canon warrantied product at the same price of $779 would I take down my review and purchase from them. So let me get this straight? Buy your product that you already advertise as a Canon warrantied product for the price you are listing it for is supposed to make me happy ? Buy from more well known websites everyone, they are far more reputable and do not have shady business practices. There is something up with these guys and now I am monitoring my credit card just to be on the safe side."

"Ajrichies was $30 less than the next lowest price I found for the camera I wanted. Because of some miscommunication, I was hoping to get the camera in two days with expedited shipping. However, it ended up taking three business days, not bad at all.
Everything arrived in seeming good order ( I'm just beginning to play with the camera).
I don't have any complaints at all and feel like I received excellent value.

If the product does indeed arrive on time per Adam's promise,then I definately think Ajriches.com has the lowest price for my product and I may think of buying from here again just for the same reasons low price and Adam :-)

"Well my first and second experience with Ajrichies was horrible! The customer representatives, who attended me, seem to have a “short fuse” and would not answer my questions respectfully! They would try to rush me into buying a product and didn’t want to explain the difference between two products to me! It’s an experience I will never forget from this company. After I received my Product there was something wrong and had to replace it (second experience). During this time I had called to see what procedures I needed to take to return the item. So I called customer service but it was closed, which was fine with me, I could call back a different day! But the phone transferred to a sales rep and he was so rude and practically said well their closed (customer service) I can’t do anything so bye! This was the second time I had been disrespected. I would have given feedback earlier but I never received this survey. I hope that the people who attended my purchase are dealt with accordingly! Now just recently I decided to purchase a memory card from your company, despite the disrespect. I was hoping for some change. Well I called your business and was able to talk to one of your sales representative. This time I was lucky enough to get one who showed interest on the customer's “needs.” This gentleman attended me with respect and also explained the difference of the product that i wanted to buy! I wish I would have recorded their names but the first two times I just wanted to get off the phone. The third time I was so pleased with the rep that I didn’t even think about getting his name. "I put in an order for a Canon 5DMkII on 3/18/12 for $1,859. I received an email indicating the order processing would take 1-3 days, to call to expedite. I had no need of paying for expedited shipping or handling so I waited. On 3/20/12, I received a call from "Michael" to verify my information. I verified my address, he asked if I would like to buy a battery, I declined. He asked if I wanted to buy the product protection, I declined. He then said that the item is a gray market, imported camera body and that the markings would not be in English. I was immediately on guard, having read reviews of just this type of thing happening. He tried to tell me that the website listing said that it was gray market, but it obviously didn't, and that they also sell the US version for $2,099, wouldn't I like to buy it. I advised I would not and I will not and to cancel my order immediately. As if I would trust this company once they've played the misrepresent/fraud/bait and switch game on me. I will go pay $300+tax more to buy it from a reputable retailer. Please believe the reviews that are bad, they are true. I was hoping it wouldn't all be bad but it was. I hope AJ Richies soon goes out of business from being such bad businessmen."

He addressed my concerns and was able to get my order out the same day and even overnighted it too me to ensure I have it for the birth of my baby girl. Despite the confusion with the shipping I would do business with AJRichies again, thanks to Adam.

" I ordered a Canon HF-R21 Camcorder for a price of $329.99. Like so many others I received an e-mail from them about 4 days later stating "That they needed to verify my shipping address". When I called I got their high pressure sales tactics mostly trying to sell me additional non Cannon batteries ranging from $60 to $120 and extended warranties etc. One of his tactics was to tell me that the battery that came with the unit was only a sample battery and was only good for less than 30 minutes. I found out from Canon that there is no such thing as a sample (demonstration) battery and 'IF' it was in fact a new unopened Canon product The BP-110 battery would record from 50 to 85 minutes depending on how the camera features were set. I repeatedly told the salesman I was retired on Social Security and on a very tight budget. He ignored me and when I finally raised my voice and told him I only wanted the camcorder he said
that they would go ahead an ship the camcorder, and with handeling and insurance would bill my credit card for (I think he said) $369 and then hung up. It took a moment for that to register... I checked the Order printout I received when I placed the order and it Stated "Grand Total $329.99"
I immediately Sent an e-mail to their sales department cancelling the order and contaced my Credit Card to BLOCK any charges from them.
I did not get taken by their scam, and I hope this review will help someone else from getting taken by them, and especially thoes who, like myself, are on fixed and limited Income."
"I did a lot of looking around before buying my Nikon from Ajrichies.com. I even checked after buying from them. I have not found a better deal for my Nikon D5100 than I got from Ajrichies.com. Shipping was fast and free so that was great. The only problem I had was that I did not receive my e-mail with tracking information until the day before my order arrived.
I have recommended this site to friends looking to buy a new DSLR. I am very happy with my new Nikon D5100 and the price at Ajrichies."
