" did not process order in a timely manner when received. well i was contacted almost immediately after i submitted my original review in which i rated ajrichies.com poor on every level because they failed to process my order on time & would only ship it in time for xmas for an additional $35.00 charge, & their customer service was totally indifferent. the person who contacted me from ajrichies claimed to be an owner of the company & wanted to 'make it up to me' for the poor service.he told me if i would change my review from overall poor to an average performance he would send me a battery & memory card for the camera i ordered from another co. buydig which processed my order & got me my camera on time for xmas w no extra charges. however ajriches never sent the items they promised which has led me to go back & reiterate what an unreliable co. this has proven to be."

"I ordered canon 5D mark 2 from Ajrichies.com. I tried several other online store which offer unbelievably low price, and they turned out nothing but a hook up ads. I wasted my 2 weeks to figure out that.

Ajrichies.com offered the lowest price for complete manufacture's box set with 1 year limited US warranty, and preceed and shipped as fast as decribed. I confirmed my order on Monday to make the credit card transaction, and got my package on Friday (I chose 3-day air shipping).

Only downside is that the box is little bit different from what I expect. I ordered box only package, but I got body + bundle lens package without bundle lens. It means that my camera is repackaged one. (I am not sure if I can say this is completely "NEW" or should I say refurbished?)

pros: 1) complete box set with lowest price
2) comes with 1 year warranty
3) fast process and shipping

cons: 1) It's not original body only package.

"EDIT: In my original review, I was very disappointed in the customer service of this company. Finally, today (12/18) after many emails & phone calls, someone called me to tell me that they would refund my $80 that, as far as I know, was an unauthorized charge. But, they would like me to change my rating. IF this refund goes through, I will be much happier w/ this company, just wish it hadn't come to this!"

"Anger, frustration, stress, lost sleep and a lot of time spent, just to save a $100……… was it worth it? Read my story and you be the judge…….. I ordered a canon camera from AjRichies on the internet because their price was the lowest I could find. After placing the order, I received an email reply requiring me to call AjRichies to verify billing to my credit card…….. Now the lies start, I called in and got a well practiced high pressure sales pitch designed to keep you saying yes, and before I understood what I was doing, I had purchased more than $400.00 in accessories ( understand the camera price was under $700.00). Now the good part. After more than four phone calls and a dozen emails back and forth to the AjRichies customer service department, I was able to return all the accessories I did not need or want (they charge a 15% restocking fee) for a full refund. I wonder how many times they sell the same accessories and make 15% when you return what you don’t need. The AjRichies customer service department was quite pleasant to deal with………….But, was a $100.00 saving worth all this effort spread over a two week period…….. Not to me, I will pay more next time."

"I have been very happy with the services provided by your company. I had a slight problem with the credit card billing on the initial order because I was over the daily limit on my card. I recontacted A J Richies Customer Service and explained the problem. Their staff re-submitted the payment request after 24 hours (As I was told they would) and I have been notified that my package is now being shipped. Thank You!"

"I purchased a Camera for my daughter for X-Mas, I was very happy that Ajrichard price was the lowest I found on the Internet. I placed my order on line, and I receieved a email to contact ajrichards to go over my order. I was asked if I placed the order, which I like because with all the credit card and online theft it made me feel like they were looking out for me. My customer rep was very nice and asked me if had seen the other sales that were offed. I said no, so my rep asked me if I wanted to hear with other things I might need for my new camera. I said I did offered me some good deal that I was going to by at another store at a later time. He offered me a great deal that had a lot of upgrades that I just could not pass up. I was very happy with my purchase, and plan to shop at ajrichrds again. Thank you for the Great customer Service."

"I ordered a camera, with 3-5 days shipping. Easy enough right? NO. First, I get an email saying I have to call them to verify the order. So when I call, there is no answer, and in a subsequent email I am told it was because their phones were down. OK, whatever, I tell them, "Yes, I placed the order." Then they try to sell me more stuff while I'm on the phone with them. Two days later, I get an email saying that my order has been placed, and will be reading for the 3-5 day shipping... in two weeks! I have cancelled the order. Let's see what happens next."

"Same issue I've heard again and again when looking through these reviews. They offer the lowest price, subject you to an upsale pitch and if you're not interested in buying extra accessories, they give you the 14-21 day wait period. I guess in hopes that you'll cancel your order. After waiting 16 days, I called and pretended to be a new customer interested in the Sony DSC-HX100V. They told me it was in stock but as soon as I gave them my existing order number, I was given another 14-21 days wait and was told that's how long ground shipping would take. They are based in New York and I'm in Tennessee. There's no way it would take that long. I've gotten orders from China quicker than that. I CANCELLED my order and got it from Crutchfield instead. It shipped 2 hours after ordering. Stay away from AJRichies.com!!"
