"They were nice on the phone and very helpful. They helped me find the lowest price deal. There was no pressure or selling. From when I ordered to at my door was only 3 days and i got free shipping. Prices are better than most online. Great black Friday deals too. Would recommend to anyone."

"I had a specific camera and lens in mind, and was easily handled. I had several questions before purchase; the salesperson was patient and helpful. Shipping was quick and item was as promised. My only complaint is that I was heavily pressured to buy expensive SD card and extra battery, had to be insistant. Also pressured to but with US warranty, told S&H, a hefty $50, was "free" with US warranty, and the battery supplied was "better quality" - all a bit dubious. Bottom line, the price was still the best around!"

"I placed a telephone order after reviewing the Ajrichie web site and their upgrade offers. Salesperson Morris was knowledgeable and very helpful. I purchased a Sony Cyber Shot HX100V with an ultra long life battery, 16gb ultra speed memory card, high speed card reader and a quick charger and was able to stay within my budgeted amount. They also threw in expedited shipping, cleaning kit, lens protector and tripod at no charge.

I was notified by email that evening that my package had shipped. Something lacking however is any kind of invoice. I have made many online purchases and an itemized invoice has always been promptly provided. Ajrichies provided package tracking information only. I know that a package is coming but I can't truly know what it contains until it arrives. Neither can I confirm what my credit card was charged. I trust that it will contain the correct items, at the agreed upon price with no shipping or any other unconfirmed charges.

"I called and spoke to Adam who made me felt like a returning customer when that was the first time I called. I placed my order with him and he offered some promotional items and order a couple of those. But, when he told me that there was no sales tax and shipping, I was very pleased to hear that, but he told me UPS charges 6% insurance fee. I was not happy with that and was gonna cancel my promotional items that I ordered, but Adam said that he could offer me another option to where he could waive the UPS insurance fee and upgrade my promotional items for a very slight increase in the final cost ($9 more), which included a quick charger. I was very pleased for how Adam went the "extra mile" to help me in my purchase. I have told many of my co-workers and friends about this site and Ajrichies.com will be my first choice in my camera and accessories needs. Thanks again Adam. Joe Carmel."

"I don't know how these people get any positive reviews. Frankly, I think they write them themselves. The quote below is what came directly from an email from them.
"In order to further verify your billing information, your order needsto verified by phone. Please call our customer service dept at1-***-***-**** ext 2. If we do not hear from you this order will not beable to be processed."

They did not ask for billing information when I called, they just tried to sell me a $100 battery - which the other folks mentioned here. They also hung up on me and would not give me any delivery information at all.

Let's see how this turns out.....

I just spoke with the Manager (Adam)and he is going to try and rectify the customer service issue. He stated that the shipping would be expedited to 3 days and he would throw in the battery for free considering the fact that I was treated so rudely. I was quite surprised by this gesture and am hoping that it all turns out as planned. I will update this post when the camera arrives.

"One of the bait and switch sites with likely fake low prices. They collect review input right after the order is placed when there are no problems that are likely to pop-up later (even give you an incentive of free stuff to fill out the survey). I am guessing that is why their ratings are not so low. Take a look at the reviews that actually are from people who tried to get their item shipped however. As you may see from other reviews they have a major problem actually fulfilling the orders and may not even have an intention to do so as is. Mine was simply cancelled after I asked when/if they planned to fulfill the order and informed them I was not interested in overpriced add-ons. They claimed the item was oversold. Seems rather sketchy. No overt criminal behavior I guess is a plus.
After the review as above Adam called and e-mailed claiming that they now had the camera in stock and offering free upgrades for the trouble. I already ordered from a different site so will not be taking then up on the offer. Do not know if it would actually go as suggested if I did. This seems a strange way to run a business, but to each his own. I am changing some of the ratings on consideration of the effort they put in to keep their ratings up.

"They are one of the worst sellers on the Internet. They advertize at a discounted price but then they make you call them for supposedly 'billing' reasons. If you don't buy anything extra, they tell you that shipping will take 2-3 weeks, prompting any normal buyer to cancel. Avoid."

"This is my experience with them.
1) ordered Fuji F600 for $269 off of the website. The website did not advise it was the import model. I checked the order status online and it advised that I had to call them. They did not call or email me this to advise me to get in touch with them I found out by checking my order status. After calling they advised me it was the import model and the US model was $40 more. So I paid $40 more than expected but it was still a fair deal minus the shipping delay.
2) When I placed an order for the Us model they did not advise me that it was back ordered. I had to call back again and wait about 10 minutes to get a customer service rep. He advised me that they were back ordered (10 days after my first call and 2 weeks after my original web order). So now it going to be about 3 weeks to get the camera.
3) I also put no signature required in the comments of the original order, this is because I am not home during the week to sign for anything. Well it is on its way with signature required. I am leaving for vacation on Tuesday and need the camera. The camera is scheduled to arrive Monday but with signature required. I won't be home to sign for it, so now I have to wait until the UPS guy comes on Tuesday before I can start my vacation. And this is for a camera I ordered 3 weeks ago. Needless to say, I will not be ordering from them again.

"I purchased a Nikon D7000 camera (body only) which was listed for $1099.95. I ended up paying $1799.99 for the body with about $150 worth of accessories. Was it my fault? Yes – I was lied to and I didn’t take the time to check facts. Here’s how they did it. A guy named “Tom” (and later “Adam” himself) told me that the battery which shipped with the camera was only good for 45 minutes of use time and that I needed an additional battery for backup. It turns out the battery is good for many hours and they are mistaken. But instead of researching it, which I should have done, I went by their website which shows three distinct versions of the EN-EL15 battery with various “life” cycle times and prices of $89.95, $129.95 and $189.95 respectively. I found out later that there is ONLY ONE TYPE of EN-EL15 battery and you can buy it online for around $48. Showing differently rated batteries which don’t exist is fraud and you should be very careful of anything that resembles this in any other section of the AjRichies website. He also told me that the charger which comes with the camera takes 6 hours to charge the battery and therefore, I should buy an extra charger (also untrue -- a totally depleted battery will recharge in a little less than 2 hours). Again, the website had two versions of this charger which I decided not to buy at first, but read on.
I also wanted to buy an extended warranty and an SD card for the camera. Once again, the website had three versions of 32 GB cards costing $49.95, $109.95 and $169.95. “Tom” said that for $1799 he would give me the best battery, best charger, best card, camera case and a 5 yr warranty – it sounded like a good deal. Well, the battery you know about, the charger was a cheesy, “Premium Tech” charger I’ll never use, the SD card is made by “Digital Extreme” which I can’t even find on the internet and which downloads 3x slower than my standard $38.95 San Disk card, the case is a cheap, Vivitar bag and I just hope that the warranty isn’t a sham. The CPS warranty site has no downloadable policies or legal documents, just a registration page and a few vague promises. Fortunately, the camera appears to be legit although it came in a “D7000 18-105VR Kit” box with the lens removed. Guess what-- the Nikon lens warranty paperwork was still inside, so whoever bought the lens is probably wondering where their warranty disappeared to.
Learn from my mistakes; DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE! Incidentally, when I called to complain about their website etc. they were very defensive, rude, offensive, and hung up on me in less than 45 seconds.
ADDENDUM TO THIS REVIEW:
I posted this review at 10:30PM, 11-30-11 and at 10:00AM the next morning I received a call from “Adam” at AjRichies who handles all their feedback and complaints. He was cordial for the most part and was very concerned about getting bad reviews, so he promised to send me a $300 credit if I amended and re-submitted this review. I told him I would revise this review and that I appreciated his attempt to make amends for my experience with AjRichies. This then, is my revision, and as you can see, I haven’t removed the original account since it really happened and there is nothing I can do to change history. I am only reporting my experience. I also told him that they would need to remove the various versions of the EN-EL15 battery which don’t exist from their website. He AGREED TO REMOVE THOSE ITEMS and then explained that at one point AjRichies had carried a replacement battery for the EN-EL15 and maybe that was why the website shows different grades of the same battery. Adam requested several times that I amend this review while he had me on the line but I told him that I needed to think about it carefully before I resubmitted. I asked him to send me an email confirming his generous offer of the $300 which he did. This is how it read:
This email is to confirm that Ajrichies will be issuing a $300.00 refund to your credit card ending in xxxx. The credit will appear within the next 48-72 hours

FINAL ADDENDUM TO THIS REVIEW:
It is now a day later and I am happy to report that Adam kept his word and DID credit the $300 to my credit card. I haven’t checked his website yet to see if it has been changed, but I believe I have at least given sufficient warning to people on that. I will change my original star rating to go a little higher (I had mostly ones originally) since he did respond and really tried to address the problem.
This is a good example of how an industry can be self-policing: Nextag/Reseller Ratings creates a system of feedback which, if used properly can make or break vendors based on how they treat their customers. People like you and me take the time to write in when things aren’t right and companies like AjRichies must respond or lose business. The system works, and no government intervention is necessary! That’s the way it should be.

"It was a Simple and Seamless process of selecting the items I wanted and going through the Check Out stand. You do need to add a line item to your Invoice, Mandatory Insurance column, and Please email any "edited/Updated" sales Invoice to the customer. "
