"Item is backordered, despite being advertised as in-stock. They say 3-4 weeks before I hear anything more.
1/5/12 Update: Three days after my first review, I cancelled my order. The next day I got a call from Adam saying they found a camera in their stock and would like to ship it out to me immediately. It's my opinion that this was offered because I had posted a negative review here and elsewhere. I had already ordered a camera through Amazon.com because I did not want to deal with a merchant that only treats you well if you post negative reviews, in exchange for amending your negative review. Adam even sent me a free memory card and has offered another battery charger for me to update this review. So this is my update: If you are ok with heavy-handed dealings with this merchant, via negative reviews, then you might find this to be a productive experience. Otherwise, I just wonder about how many buyers unexpectedly end up waiting 3+ weeks because they didn't buy any accessories or post any negative reviews."
"I ordered a body only for Canon EOS Rebel T3i. A few days later I received an e-mail saying that I had to call the company for billing information verification or the order would not be processed. I called from Europe where I am vacationing. The sales rep was very rude and told me that they suspected a fraudulent order and they wouldn't ship it unless i called from my home number in USA. I tried to argue that this was unnecessary given all other assurances and identification I could produce. The sales rep said they wouldn't ship because I had ordered from Europe and hang up on me and then sent me a rude e-mail.
I subsequently cancelled my order and promptly received cancellation confirmation.
I will not consider buying from this company again."

He also gave me the opportunity to consider other value added options for my purchase. The entire sales event took less than 10 minutes. I would use AJ Richies again.

"I purchased an Olympus underwater camera thru Ajrichies.com as they offered the best price. The product arrived in great condition. I was most pleased with the customer service I received. There were questions regarding my address and while speaking with the representative to verify that info., he advised me on addition items I would need for the camera that did not come with the original order. I ultimately added several items, and even with those additions, paid less than the Olympus site offered for just the basic camera. The customer service Dept. again contacted me due to a problem with the credit card to ensure I would receive the order before Xmas. The customer service is the best I have experienced...I will absolutely shop from this site again. Ajrichies is exceptional."
"Update :
After my review, I got an email (within an hour) saying "Ok good news I was able to find a camera for you and it will be in by tomorrow we will make sure it ships right away and email you with a tracking number once it leaves the warehouse".
I emailed them back to confirm my order so that I am not charged extra, they replied "Yes that will be shipped tomorrow exactly like you originally ordered as long as you go to reseller ratings and update your negative feedback that you left us".
I consider this as blackmailing consumer to write good review. I called them to cancel my order which,thankfully, they did in a flash and the guy on phone had no answer when I asked him how they found my camera in an hour and why it was back ordered even when website says product ships in 1/2 business days. To that he replied "It says USUALLY ships in 1/2 business days. Its backordered. We haven't updated our website."
GUYS, THEY ARE FRAUD/UNETHICAL/RUDE/SPAM. PLEASE STAY AWAY.

I am not sure how these people got good ratings. Looks like they themselves write 4/5 star reviews.
I ordered Canon 7D on 11/27/2011 and the website said "Product Usually ships in 1/2 Business days". Its been a month today and there is no update on my order.
I contacted them many times through email and they reply one liners "We are still waiting for the camera to arrive" (on 11/30). When I asked whether you anticipate any tentative date they replied "no we do not" (on 12/16) and again "I wish I could give you a date but we do not know when it is coming in yet" (on 12/27). The emails are not at all courteous. No Hello/Hi etc. Just one liners which look very unprofessional.
I read other reviews and looks like they want me to cancel the order as I haven't opted for any accessory/extra services from them. I verified my address after receiving an email from them. Even today their website says Canon 7D will be shipped in 1-2 business days but they have held my order hostage.
I will be cancelling the order and request prospective buyers not to order from them. Unprofessional/rude company which is not at all recommended."
