"Read reviews, most were good so I called to see if it came with a warranty. The person said it has a 1 year standard warranty. They contacted me 2 days later to up-sell batteries ect. under the guise to confirm billing. When I said I needed nothing but the item I ordered they told me it had no American warranty, the very item I was asking about when I ordered. Another 50 bucks would buy me one. Canceled and am worried about giving them my credit card number.Not cool!"

"I had to call twice. The first time I was placed on hold for a very long time. Then I waited approx. 20 minutes and called again. I finally was able to speak with someone from sales. The man I spoke with was wonderful! He was very imformative and give me a special "package" price."
"DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM!!!!!!!!I ordered a camera from them for around $450. They then emailed to say that I needed to call to verify some information. When I called them they said that my credit card did not go through, which was not true. I used it right after to order elsewhere. They also told me that the item was out of stock and they probably would not have any for 2-3 weeks. I told them that it should say that on their website. I then got an email that my order was cancelled and I had not told them to cancel it. I called back and someone else told me that this camera was discontinued. I would not give them a penny of my money."

"I did my homework and read reviews on AJ Richards before deciding to purchase from them so I was expecting them to offer me extra accessories with my order The price for the Canon T3i I wanted was $70 less than other competitors. When I called to place my order I asked all the right questions (US Warranty, what parts are included, confirmed no surprise charges) and asked when I could expect the camera to ship. I was told that if the website said the camera was in stock that it should ship in one or two days. I declined the salesman's offer for the extra accessories. That evening I received an email that my camera was backordered and I wouldn't receive it for two weeks. I immediately cancelled the order and posted a negative feedback on this website. The next morning I was contacted by Adam. He was very polite and told me that a mistake had been made and he did, in fact, have the camera that I wanted in stock. He said he would ship it to me overnight and I could make sure I was fully satisifed before changing my feedback. I OK'd the order and he shipped me the camera overnight as promised. Although I didn't appreciate the initial news about the backorder, I did end up getting the camera at the price quoted as promised.

"On-line order was easy. Received phone call from company rep 3-4 days later to "confirm" order. Rep tried to up-sell me with a bunch of stuff I didn't want. Not real hard-sell - I just kept saying no. Rep told me order would be ready to ship in "about 7 days". Received e-mail several hours later telling me the order would not be available for "7 to 14 days." ??? I e-mailed an inquiry after 2 weeks and they promptly responded with a "we haven't received it yet" response. I inquired again after 4 weeks and got an immediate answer -- "Sorry no news still waiting for the camera to arrive".
I have just cancelled the order and received an e-mail almost immediately confirming the cancellation.
I don't believe they ever intended to honor my order once I failed to fall for their up-selling/bait and switch tactics.
My credit card has not been charged, I did not get a lot of hassle or attitude, and I have only lost a lot of time -- but I am concerned that a merchant that I now do not trust has my credit card info. Who knows what they will do with it. I will need to keep a sharp watch on my credit card to be sure the info hasn't ended up in the hands of an id thief.
I cannot believe that ajRichard has a legitmate 4-star rating. I would NEVER recommend them to anyone.

"Initially I was very happy with the service and deliver. However when I received my items and reviewed the invoice I found roughly a $70 charge for insurance and handling. I have to tell you while I was given a "total" price I did not receive an explanation for this charge nor have I ever been charged such a fee from B&H, Amazon or anyone else. Insurance is covered by my credit card & handling (I'm in the online business) is just a gray hole you make up increase your percentages.... I"m REALLY disappointed in AJ Richard for pulling this an am awaiting to see if they reverse this charge. "
