Second; their tech support said I should install a secondary drain and drain pan in line with local code(which I learned) . I discovered later that the system already has a secondary drain system.
Lastly thy sold me the wrong refrigerant lines which I learned after I had run them through the house.

"I bought a General Aire 1137 humidifier that was to replace an existing 1137. The product arrived in a reasonable amount of time. Missing was an installation DVD that was to be included. No big deal. The main challenge was installing the humidistat. The included printed instructions indicated a different adaptor plate was included for mounting to the return duct. The on-line instructions make no mention of this adaptor plate. Since my previous General Aire humidistat had a different opening size than the new humidistat I had to adapt the new humidistat to fit the existing opening. The new humidifier is noisy compared to the old 1137 model. Installation of the humidifier was a snap since I could use the existing opening."
