"I do not recommend this to anyone. I purchased a 4 zone mini split and it stopped working after a year, just in time for the warranty to expire. I decided to order a new outdoor condenser and few months after installing a new outdoor condenser I had the same problem and was back to square one. No one knows what’s wrong with my unit. My refrigerant lines are freezing up when I run one zone alone. It turned out to be a big waste of money and a major headache for my family. I’ve spent double the money on service calls and replacing the outdoor condenser. No one was able to help me. My new condenser is still under warranty, but tech support just stopped contacting me. I feel like they are waiting for the warrant to expire. With all the money I’ve put into this system I would have a much better Mitsubishi unit. Do not buy this product. I will not be doing business with alpine ever again. I will also reach out to BBB because I’m not getting anywhere.

"I ordered the 16 x 24 filter rack to replace a damaged misaligned rack that my contractor tried to make work ! I did a little research and easily replaced the damaged rack. Saved $$$ doing it myself. The rack is nicely made and cut to install easily. This was my first attempt at working with sheet metal on a furnace. "

"Last year I installed a 4 room mini-split with a 3 ton compressor to replace my old all electric system and my electric bill dropped by over 60% and every room was comfortable and we haven't needed space heaters even when the temp dropped into the single digits and when we hit triple digits in the summer it kept us cool without very high electric bills. These mini split systems are awesome, totally worth the cost and then some. I would recommend them to anyone that wants an affordable heating and cooling solution. Btw, those 4 units only covered the bedrooms, the old heating/cooling system took care of the other side of the house, which is getting a 3 room system this week which should knock another 20-30% or more off my electric bill. My power usage on full blast hot or cold went 20kw+ while struggling in extreme temps down to 4750w MAX when ALL 7 units are running at full power keeping every room at the desired temp even under extreme conditions, that is efficient!!!"
