"Had a 1.5 ton Hvac system die on me. The Hvac company gave me a quote of 6,000 to replace it. I purchased 2 1ton Hvac systems for the two rooms that the old unit support under 2,000 and had them installed. They have worked very well so far and I plan on replacing the main house Hvac system with mini-split systems when the main house Hvac dies. When the house was built I ask for mini-split units but the Hvac company talk me out of it. Boy was that ever a mistake. If these units will last 10 years like the unit that they replace. I will have saved money on air conditioning in electric cost and the overall cost of ownership. "
