"Replaced an older LG unit in our guest house with the Blue Ridge 1.75 Ton Heat Exchanger. This guy is indistinguishable to the "higher end" model we are taking out. Installation was mostly done myself and we had an HVAC professional come out to vacuum the lines, check for leaks and release the refrigerant. Everything was very straight forward and manageable to prep and execute. I appreciated that Alpine supplied a list of "mandatory" accessories separate from the "optional" ones - I will be coming back for the supply line ducts at another time. I purchased the expedited shipping and everything came promptly and VERY WELL packaged and secured to the shipping pallet. As an engineer, I am always impressed when intentionality is employed to things as seemingly insignificant as the shipping and certainly to the overall care taken to provide a quality product and experience. "Everybody at Alpine Home Air Products went out of their way to make sure I ordered a unit that would meet my needs, made sure I had everything that I needed, and that the delivery would be smooth. There was an issue with my credit card because we were in the middle of changing addresses but the staff resolved it with no effort at all. The driver was on time and helped me push it up my, somewhat steep, driveway and into the garage. Once I got it installed and running I found a small rattle in the outside air door which I was able to silence easily.
