AC purchase

"A box containing an accessory was crushed on arrival, so placement of the box in the front of the skid wasn't good, but the accessory was undamaged and the air conditioner was well crated and packaged. I appreciated the follow up phone call after ordering and the email sent with all technical information for the air conditioner. Shipping was timely. Price was very competitive. Very pleased and will likely use Alpine for future AC orders."

Phone follow up but don't ask a technical question; it won't get answered

"The installation and use guide you must download has almost no useful information in it, nothing gets shipped with the wood stove, and the dimensions in the manual are all in metric, (stove NOT made in America). I sent emails and asked questions on their online Q&A site; about proper installation, using the back 6" vent in lieu of top; max distance for horizontal pipe to vertical chimney and smoke coming out of the secondary air intake at the top front of the unit no matter which direction I moved the control; all to no avail, no answers to any of them while waiting to be able to install."

Freezing in Alaska

"Several weeks ago my furnace went out. After trying to get it fixed myself over a 2 week period I decided it best just to order a new one since ours was over 15 years old. Finding a replacement was not easy, and seems only a few dealers had what I needed. The biggest problem I had was the shipping costs were over charged and I was hassled a bit on trying to get it right. Finally, after a few more days it was fixed. Now my furnace is stuck in Oregon due to weather for four days now and counting. All this would have not of been an issue if it had not been for the shipping issue needing to be fixed. Having to wait for the item now is a life or death situation. Luckily we have electric heaters to compensate, but the help received was less than pleasant in some cases, plus having to wait for the shipment is a hassle. But, all in all, I cannot fault anyone and look forward to my shipment finally getting here before we freeze to death."

you guys are so coooooool!

"I love my unit. You guys are the best. It was a self install, went well, converted from split unit to a package. The hardest part was moving unit from garage to back of house. Electrical went smooth. Duct work was a breeze. Unit testing was fine. Coolest summer we've ever had and so far, winter, has been a delight! Thank You Alpine!"
