"I felt very good about the ease of ordering the furnace & I was happy with the price. However, when I unwrapped the shipping cardboard and wrapping, I found that the furnace had a big dent on the top rear corner. Because I had failed to open the wrapping before the delivery truck left, I felt that it was my problem so I straightened the damage myself.
Otherwise Alpine did a great job!

I am sorry to hear about the denting which you found upon delivery of your unit, but am glad to hear that you were able to fix the dents and the unit is fully operational. You may be able to file a concealed damage claim with the carrier directly at this point - did you happen to take any photos of the unit prior to fixing? I have sent you a separate email with concealed damage claim instructions and tips. Hopefully you will find this useful and helpful in filing a concealed damage claim with the carrier.

Buying is great getting sucks

"The order showed up on a truck on time. I opened th box and unit was damaged, I showed the driver and he told me there was nothing he could do and call the shipper. I called the Alpine, they had me call AFB, they told me to call Alpine, now Alpine is telling me they filled a claim with AFB and check with them, AFB sent me a email saying they settle most claims in 30 days.
I'm thinking of sending everything back.

I can certainly understand your frustration, I am glad you inspected the unit with the ABF driver present - were you able to sign for the damage found? Generally, if the damage is signed for at delivery we can file the claim on your behalf and work with you on either a damage settlement or option for new product to be sent.

Everything was great!

"You were correct in your response to the review below. The emails did indeed go to my SPAM box. That's a first for me. I changed my rating to five stars.

Ordered product on Monday, received it on Wednesday -- very happy with the turnaround, which is paramount.
However, other than an email from Google endorsing the company and confirming the order, I did not receive any emails from Alpine advising that the order was fulfilled and a tracking number provided, which would have alerted me to its imminent arrival.
Product -- a heating thermostat -- is as expected -- works fine. I would do further business with Alpine.

amazing transaction

"I find when you purchase a big item - there are always problems with delivery , damage and very tired delivery people . I found this company to be courteous , right on target with transfer to shipping and the delivery was a little late due to traffic but the driver was so helpful And courteous . even though I am sure he was on overtime .The product came undamaged and packed well . The one box was dented but item inside was perfect . I commend all who were involved with this transaction . Phone call updates were pleasant and precise . Thank you ."

"I'm extremely satisfied with my purchase from Alpine Home Air Products. The web site is very user friendly with great tools to aid with product selection, along with all specifications and documents needed. After placing my online order I received a call to confirm my order and ensure that everything went smoothly up until today point.
