"After searching for a supplier for an 'exact' match to replace my 11 year old existing Goodman 2 ton package unit, Alpine's BBB rating, their quick solutions to any past problems and the quick and direct answers from their staff when finally contacted with questions about my selection gave them my order.
Local dealers claimed they 'paid more' than Alpine was selling it for - and then added a 35% 'profit', doubling the cost to me for just the unit! Transportation and installation, of course, was -=extra=-!
Only one slight problem happened. as I'm far out in what is often called the 'Boonies', delivery was late [somewhat expected, as a usual happenstance], but ... Alpine's over packing of the unit had it come through without any markings on the outer carton!

"This was my third furnace from Alpine. I own several rentals and are replacing the old low efficiency furnaces with new ones. The delivery goes off without a hitch (automated response telling me when delivery is near), good driver communication and excellent packing. I haven't installed this one yet but their DVD and technical support make it a snap. I highly recommend calling them with questions, they are helpful and don't give you the third degree about being stupid. Furnace replacement is not too difficult if you are handy. New lnstallations are a bit more involved."
