"A friend who had installed his own furnace steered me to Alpine. I ordered my furnace online on a Saturday evening. On Monday morning I had a shipping notification. It was ready to deliver on Wednesday! Unbelievable. The furnace arrived perfect as from the factory. I took my time installing, and as it happened I ran into a small technical issue I needed help with on Sunday morning. To my complete surprise I discovered that Alpine has tech support on Sunday. I reached Daniel, who walked me through my issue, and shortly thereafter I fired the unit up. "I placed an order on a Sunday morning. When I first placed the order I tried to pay with my PayPal. Something got messed up and the payment didn't go through. So I switched to my credit card to make the payment. I few minutes later I checked my PayPal and sure enough the payment went through, annoying, but not the end of the world. This isn't my first time doing business with Alpine and I knew they had great customer service. I figured I would call Monday to take care of the billing problem and went on with my day. A few hours later I got a call from a number I didn't recognize. Normally I don't answer those calls because scam, but for some reason I did. It was an Alpine rep questioning my order. She was processing the order and noticed there were two orders for the exact same part with two different payment methods, and wanted to verify that was what I meant to do. I told her that it in fact was an error. She quickly reversed the PayPal payment for me. It took a few days for everything to clear PayPal but that is what it is. I was just very grateful she was there to take care of me so I didn't have to call the next day and tell the whole story. She already knew what happened when she called. That's real customer service!"
