"As a seller there is no protection on here and I'm sure the big companies selling major merchandise have savvy lawyers making sure they are properly covered to sue if need be. I have been treated terribly by the customer service, that is when I can get to speak with someone, about my claim. Basically a buyer walked away with my Mac and was refunded the money when he filed a false claim about it's condition. Thank you Amazon for screwing a poor college student trying to pay my bills by selling my personal belongings! Novice sellers be careful. I'll never sell or buy on Amazon and I'm sad because I would have like to buy a tablet down the road."
"GOING DOWNHILL FAST!!! I've cancelled two orders for computer equipment with Amazon.com within the last week because they haven't shipped the orders after 3 or 4 days even though the items are in stock. I ordered them from another merchant at a lower price who always ships within 24 hours. Amazon.com used to ship that fast, but not lately.
I have also noticed that some of their items they sell for over the manufacturer's list price. They inflate the manufacturer's list price on their site so it looks like you are getting a discount."

"Amazon is awful.. actually worse than awful. They used to have good customer service teams, efficient checkouts and good products. I'm totally disappointed in the 13$ I've been offered for a trade in for two Kindles that failed. I spent 200$ on these things a year and a bit ago and they failed.

"I make a lot of online purchases & this was one rocked! I bought an EVGA GT 430 DDR3 1 gig graphics card. It arrived on time & was well packaged. The graphics card has worked flawlessly too. I will be making future purchases from them! FYI the $15.00 rebate I got in the mail today on this card made it even sweeter.
Update: Additional purchase-order # ***-***-****-5935453...order date:2/18/2012. Amazon does it again! After 24 hrs my order was processed/shipped & arrived on time again via FREE Super Saver Shipping. Patriot pc3200 2 gig desktop RAM (2x 1 gig modules) were well packaged & installed without issue.One of the main reasons I purchase from Amazon is their willingness to SHIP TO A PO BOX (although it is determined electronically after order placement if it can be) I'd probably consider Newegg on more purchases, BUT they will not ship to a PO Box. I live in a rural area where mailbox vandalism is rampant, so I do not have a residential mailbox. Thanks again Amazon for great price !"

"I have enjoyed shopping at Amazon.com, I have for many years. Last year I purchased a laptop battery from one of their resellers, the item had a one year warranty. It failed in a few months, contacting both the seller, manufacturer and Amazon was no help. My efforts to get warranty help just wore me out! After that experience, I am very hesitant to buying through amazon.com. I had a false sense of security when shopping through Amazon, now I think it's can't be better off than eBay sellers. Bottom line recommendation, stay away from the resellers, Amazon.com does not insure that you won't get ripped off by them. They need to monitor them and backup the amazon customers."

We have written to the seller ....Wireless Wholesale...and have rec'd NO RESPONSE. I have searched the web for ANY info on this seller and have found NOTHING...no contact info, NADA! There was a small company in MI that had a similar name as "WIRELESS WHOLESALE".... but not the Amazon seller either!
Amazon (after going online and FINALLY locating a corporate customer service phone NUMBER in Seattle, WA), they say "there is nothing they can (will) do.....so much for all those Amazon GUARANTEES for buyers satisfaction. They said call our bank and see about a refund based on buying stolen merchandise!
When I called the bank, the bank employee had the same thing happen to her ON AMAZON with an expensive phone...!!!!! She left harsh messages everywhere with no results so finally told her story on the FEEDBACK section, like I am doing now!
I have bought many, many items from AMAZON over the years but I have placed my last order as of right now!!!!!!!!! How dare they offer a product on their site, through another seller (that one assumes that they endorse!) and then not stand behind an $800 item when it shows up as STOLEN! THIS IS NOT THE WAY TO KEEP BUSINESS! I'll post this info ALL OVER THE NET and hopefully protect others from this beast called "AMAZON"!

"Ordered 3 CDs and qualified for free shipping. Wanted to add a few more things to the order and placed a cancellation request.
Instead of cancelling the whole order, Amazon cancelled only one CD. The order no longer qualified for free shipping, and I was charged $10.04 for shipping.
1. I didn't authorize cancelling of one CD, but rather the whole order.
2. I didn't authorize the amended order, that Amazon shipped without asking me.
Don't get me wrong. I've placed 190 orders from Amazon since 1999, and nearly all have gone well. When things go wrong, they're not easy to fix.
Amazon's cancellation email suggested refusing the package, and that's what I'm going to do. Then wait until the refund is authorized, and put in my amended order."
"Amazon prime is amazing. I love my free 2 day shipping because I know that it will come in 3 days. Some products have amazing prices like the game bundle I bought. I have never had a problem with an order. I do hate that it shows a product as "said price" and then shipping adds a ton of money to the price. "

I have a prime membership and on this birthday gift order, was guaranteed two day shipping. four days past the order date and I get an E Mail that says good news, we should get it out by the 21st (10 days after order and well past the birthday it was intended for.) I contact the customer service and they gave me double speak. It is in stock but limited so might take an extra 1 or 2 days. Ok, doesn't explain a minimum of ten. I ask about the prime guarantee and I am told it has to be in stock. I point out I was just told it was in stock and she says sorry, but it isn't going to be delivered any earlier than the 21st!. I will not pay for a prime membership again."
