"I have been an Amazon customer for 10+ years and have been very pleased with their pricing, shipping promptness and responsiveness to crediting returns. My experience has also been positive with the resellers who offer products through Amazon.com. A few have been late with shipping ordered items, but generally most have shipped quickly and used good packaging. The items received have always been the items ordered and they have always arrived in good condition."

"Amazon.com is an okay website. Its Cons are that its shipping is through the roof. I tried to buy a bunch of fifty cent pins and the price rang up as fifteen dollors!! Though the Pros are that Amazon has everything and the quality is great to! "

"Amazon.com is a great online store where you can purchase stuff from your everyday needs to cool gaming systems and other electronics but also your digital books that you recieve on your Kindle. With Amazon i have made tons of orders- I have always recieved great deals as well as fast and safe shipping. This is an online store i will always back!!"

"For buyers it may be decent for they don't care at all about their sellers and participate in theft from their own sellers. They allow a customer to purchase a product, then say they don't like it and want their money back. They give the seller 7 hours in the middle of the night to appeal the claim before allowing the customer to keep the product and get a full refund of all costs including shipping. They take 21.5% of the selling price from the seller, allow the customer to keep the product and don't refund the seller even the cost of shipping. Then they give you a run around and say there is no phone number to contact their seller claim support only email which in turn tells you you're out of luck. This is probably the worst company I have ever dealt with. Highest fees, worst customer support and what middle man can openly be part of stealing from their own sellers?"

"my only problem with Amazon is that it does not let you know about the estimated delivery date until you are finishing the checkout process. which means you will end up waiting for your order for more than 45 days to arrive just like me, or never arrive.
I have made several purchases from amazon, i finally decided to set it aside and find another method, ebay, that lets you pick whether international or State side company, and tells you the estimated arrival even before you place the order.
I give Amazon Three stars, and consider it neutral for business. But, Amazon will be the least recommended by me to my friends or anyone i know."

With the two-day Prime shipping, I usually just buy things on Amazon instead of at brick & mortar stores because it's so convenient."

"I'm a regular visitor to resellerratings.com. I don't buy anything online without seeings the ratings here. That said, I'm surprised to see the "low" rating for Amazon. I read through some of the negative reviews and found many of them complaining about their bad experience with Marketplace vendors at Amazon. I agree that many of those vendors are not good. I wish Amazon cautions in bold letters that they can't do anything with the issues related to Marketplace purchases. Anyway, my experience with Amazon (not Amazon Marketplace) has always been great! Amazon has gone out of their way to help me many a times. At times when I had to return the items they waived the shipping charges for shipping back to them. They have given me great discounts even when it was my mistake to not to correctly get them on time. They are always willing to listen to you. I have come across a few reps who are not very friendly but then when I called them again and talked to another rep I always got what I wanted. Amazon is simply Amazing. They have set new standards for online shopping. This is my first review here and I do this only because Amazon doesn't deserve such a "low" score."

"It is an amazing website! My favorite part of it is their gift cards, since they will never run out and they are easier to depend on than a credit card. Amazon's tracking system is very good and in depth. I enjoy their free shipping and the other multitude of offers they have for regular customers. Their Prime membership is pretty costly but most people would not even need it. All in all, Amazon is the store for any shopper."
