Terrible return policy

"Don't buy from Amazon. Very poor return policy. If the clothing doesn't fit, you are stuck! Won't accept your return. "

Promised delivery of 2 packages by end of day 2 days in a row - FAIL

"2 guaranteed prime deliver orders scanned as delivered, but were not...escalated via chat to Amazon whom stated was scanned in error and would still arrive by end of day but didn't. 2nd agent chat stated refund provided as compensation, but promised deliver of items next day but the didn't. Escalated again to Amazon via chat, passed on to supervisor and then a service manager and told the only thing they are willing to do is allow me to purchase again at my cost and they'd waive the express delivery. So end of it all, i'd get my stuff 3days later than original guarantee / paid the same cost / and lost all my time and aggrevation as well as changing plans to accommodate for the door delivery as well as the plans that required the delivered items. Jason (the final mgr/supervisor) used his interpretation of chats like carte blanche when expectation was set that the items would arrive the second day, but b/c refund was issued that they have no recourse to resend at no charge. If this was the case, they should have simply told me this the first evening after the first miss. Totally put me off of AMZN and i've used them for years and had been happy with them.........not any longer , and loads of alternative online shopping now. They'll feel it eventually when they screw over too many loyal customers where AMZN was clearly in the wrong or in a position of assume humility but never taken."

Amazon.ca customer service, worst ever!

"Amazon is the worst and untrustworthy place to shop at. Amazon never reply to your questions at all. If you ask a question about seller, they cancel your order without your consent with a to z guarantee program. Worst customer service ever. Will never recommend anyone to shop at Amazon. What a waste of time!"

DON'T BE FOOLED

"Amazon has torn a page out of Bell's book. Terminate all the adults (in Bell's case) and replace with young, ignorant persons who just want to feed their familys but go to work every day knowing the must lie, cheat and steal to maintain theire income. I am so happy that my advanced years will exempt me from Amazon's business model."

Horrible place to shop

"Amazon's huge and reaching entire world. However, their service's worst ever I've experienced.

Do not buy product by watching REVIEW OF THE SELLER, any negative reviews can be removed by sellers & amazon. I had a few bad experiences that seller shipping + handling cost on top of purchasing price for $20.00CAD, I have asked to remove or cancel the purchase, but seller said it's already shipped and if I don't want it, I have to send it back with my own cost. what Amazon's answered on that is, it is LEGIT!!! Amazon always sits on seller's side, not protecting the customers.

A-Z claim only applies to their own product. If you caught by any chinese/hongkong sellers due to the pricing, and did not receive the product 2,3 months, all Amazon does is that refund money, and they just say "seller not answering, refund money for the customer, sorry for the inconvenience" that is it. Unless it's their own market product, they won't do any good for you for all of those foreign sellers' products or services. Amazon says they are not controlling the sellers. Then why do they have those horrible sellers on their own website??? it just shows how much they care about customers and satisfaction level. Horrible store. I refuses to buy any of Amazon product.

Way downhill

"I cant wait for my Prime membership to run out because I will not be renewing it ever again. I used to live amazon so much and this past year has been disappointment after disappointment. I get items that are damaged, broken, late and sometimes don't come at all. A to zero guarantee my arsenal they don't do anything but say sorry when I call. Once my prime runs out in October this company will never see my money again. Too Vader because it was my favorite place to shop."

Customer service going down the drain and PRIME Canada is a joke

"I have been ordering off Amazon.ca since they first started in Canada. Many orders per year (up to 90). All I can say is that their customer service **** more every year that goes by. From top notch at first, it is now below average for sure. They keep losing packages, and they respect the 1-2 days Prime guaranteed delivery date barely 2 times out of 3.

I can't wait for Walmart to up their game for online shopping and to give my Amazon business to someone else!

Amazon.ca compared to .com book prices

"The book "Integrative Cancer Care: The Power of Being Informed" by Dr Adam McLeod (practises in Vancouver, Canada) is priced at $22 Cdn on the back cover (Amazon.CA will not show you the back cover) is $18.08 + $7.98 s/h USD mailed to a US address when purchased thru Amazon.COM. The same book purchased thru Amazon.CA is $74.20 + $6.49 s/h mailed to a Cdn address. Go figure! If you live in Canada, buy your books at Chapters or a similar bookstore. Amazon.CA is a complete rip-off!"

Crooks and liars!!!

"I bought a $1300 item that never arrived while showed delivered (probably stolen by their delivery service) so i called them and they told me to wait for 3 days and call back.....after 3 days i called and they told me that they will not pay me till i file police report and email them the number.......i filed a police report and then they (a representative located in costa rica ) told me that they don't want the number rather the link to the police report online(which it doesn't exist in Canada) ........and finally they sending me an email that the package was signed for and that i should talk to the person who signed for but they never gave me a name!!!!!! Amazon.ca is the largest stealing company in the world and they are like nazis....Nobody to complain to or to find your rights. I will post about them everywhere i can just to make sure others will not get screwed like i did."

Amazon Rips customers off

"I purchased an item on Amazon the next day it went on sale for $20 less. Amazon refused to price protect even tho I complained within 7 days. Every retailer has a price protection or price guarantee for its customers of 14-30 days. I will not shop Amazon again and will tell everyone to use a different service. I tried complaining via email, telephone and spoke to a supervisor to no avail. I will cancel my account as soon as my last item arrives. "

Good service, slow shipping

"Although this is more of an Amazon Marketplace issue, service is still provided through Amazon.

Ordered a shirt in the first week of December, expected date of arrival was December 20, 2016 and it didn't arrive until 1 month later. I contacted the seller and did not receive a satisfactory response and instead was brushed off as if it was just another sale.

Not really too happy but not upset either, stuff happens although I wouldn't recommend people ordering off Amazon.ca unless it is directly fulfilled by Amazon as they are on top of things on their end. Marketplace sellers need to be get used to being held to a high standard and should conform to what Amazon expects from itself.

Amazon good, Marketplace questionable

"The Amazon operation itself is excellent. Problems arise with some customer service because it's handled by an outside agency in India. Outside Marketplace sellers can be very good but in Canada there's a problem with importing. Amazon is supposed to inform us when a purchase will be an import ahead of time but they don't bother. This is terribly negligent. Many outside sellers don't care to tell us.
Imports over $20 Can. involve Customs, which first charges a $10 handling fee, and requires you to travel to a regional depot. This is no way to live. It should say import on the main sale page. Amazon should not use any foreign seller as a Default seller on a Amazon.ca page. They are real jerks on this point.

Shipping times totally inaccurate

"I have been a customer of amazon.com (USA) and amazon.ca (CAN). Amazon Canada has totally unrealistic/inaccurate shipping times in comparison to Amazon US. This may be due to the garbage Canadian postal system in comparison to the US postal system (which is quite terrible on its own). However, amazon.ca promises what it cannot deliver with its 1-Day and 2-Day delivery. It consistently adds a full business day to its delivery time. Either state this up front or change your business model."
