"Wrong item & Bad Delivery
I have ordered a Product; received a wrong item that I didn’t order. I never recommend this web site; delivery is very poor sometimes it takes very long time to receive.
"
"I placed an order, paid for it and later cancelled an item. Was told I'd be refunded the difference. So the remainder went do to $180 from $210 and they charged me again. They insist I'm at fault and that I did not pay the first time, so now I have $390 out of my bank for a $180 order. The order in question is stuck STILL saying "Payment revision needed" So even though I paid twice, they still want to try to charge me more and they would but I don't have the funds. - They are literally robbing me blind and not doing anything to help to reoccuring charges from this broken order."
"Wasted hours trying to get them to change a misleading product description, they don't follow up and don't care about you. Never shopping there again, cannot rely on product descriptions. "
"A FEW HOURS after I bought something from these rip-off artists - I checked my order - and the selling price of what I bought HAD GONE DOWN BY ALMOST 10%
And you have to search and search and search to find a phone number to speak to a REAL person - and then they tell you: "Too bad. We don't price match."
Well it's your own price that changed in a few hours after I bought - and I haven't even received the $@%^$# thing yet.
^#$# you!
Oh - and don't make this mistake of ordering DVD's before Christmas. You SHOULD expect them to TAKE TWO WEEKS to arrive!
Oh - and they sell GARBAGE so-called Dewalt sanding head attachments that become USELESS after a few minutes. You don't believe me? Read the reviews of Velcro attachment sanding heads for the Dewalt Oscillating tool."
"I implore you to shop Bed and Bath online or walmart.ca or just go in person. Amazon.ca is astronomically expensive."
"My very first time as an amazon customer, and my very first order from the site the product was coming from was in the same time zone, acutally 4 hours away from where I live, both tracking places on Amazon and Canada post had where it left and was on route, it was sent expedited that It was arriving the 19th, so I stayed at home on the 19th all day with my 2 small kids in exciement on package to arrive, 5pm came nothing 7 pm came nothing 8 pm came nothing I went on the site and chatted with amazon and told them they checked into it and came back and said there was a 1 day delay and that they would pass on complaint to shipping deparment and that they are sorry my next orders will arrive on time!!!! and that all and it would arrive Monday, after I Paid to have it expedited and that's all they could do was told me to wait, since Canada post don't deliver on weekend, I was never notified of the delay and it caused a big inconvenience for myself and family, now we have to wait another 3 days after waiting 3 days since I ordered it total of 6 days to get my order, I requested a full refund because of the inconvenient and received an email from them stating that they will refund the shipping cost of 5 dollars, and said it was Canada post who did delay when they checked into it, if they are able to see activity of package delays etc I should have been notified, After this Experience I don't think I will order from amazon again and will be telling people about my experience. and I will be conatacting CANADA POST!!! if the sellers use them for deliverys they have all the info on when it will arrive etc, neither place contacted me about delay, "
"I have changed my review from a one to a four after not being happy with Amazon ca they came through and refunded my purchase this should have happened from the beginning but in the end they did good. "
"
Very disappointed with the current policies in place for price adjustments. Competitor websites allow price adjustments to be made within 30 days of purchase. I recently purchased an item from amazon.ca and inquired about a price adjustment and was informed I was 2 days late from your 7 day policy however i could return the product and repurchase it. I am currently a customer of amazon.ca because of its convenience. This current practice that is being conducted solidifies that making purchases through competitors is in fact a better option. "
"Disgusting service, charge too much for postage to begin with when it should be free postage, and then they charge you over half the price of the item if you need to return it back. Avoid at all costs, Amazon.com is better, and so is Amazon.co.uk, they still ship to Canada. It came in a big box too instead of an envelope A4, ridiculous.
You leave a negative review, and they biasley email to say they can't accept that so change it or delete it, they don't publish anything unless it's positive, hence I'll leave my review here instead. You can't just have people leave great reviews on your company that is very bad."
"Customer service very bad. I order something and after 5 weeks I call them and they saying that the order is cancel such a stupid system and stupid customer all orders arrive later then it says so pls dont use this stupid website. Ebay is much much better then this "
"BUYER BEWARE!
Very disappointed with the Customer Service at Amazon. Advertised FIFA 16 for $59.99 if you Pre-Order. Credit card was later billed the original price of $79.99. I called Amazon.ca Customer Service, and they admitted that they incorrectly priced FIFA 16 (when you Pre-Order) and failed to honor the price I saw when I made the purchase. That was the only reason I was going to buy from Amazon. The Rep, Chelsea check to see if I ordered before they corrected the issue, which she verified and still do not honor the purchase price. I will order at Best Buy instead."
"Extremely disappointing experience with Amazon Canada. When purchasing a book, they offered a FREE 2-day shipping with a very small fine print that you will be signing up for Prime Membership. DO NOT CLICK YES! Prime Membership is a scam! You get charged $80 and the only benefit you get is free 2-day shipping. I must also say that the book didn't take 2 days but 4 days to get to my home anyways. When I called customer service and asked for a refund, they argued that I should have read the fine print, when I expressed that I didn't think it was clear enough and that they should make it more explicit (meaning say you are going to charge me for $80 if I say YES) she insulted me by saying that it is not Amazon responsibility that I do not know how to interpret the fine print!! I was so offended, terrible customer service, they charge me for a hidden service that I did not order and they also implied that I was stupid for "not understanding the fine print". VERY DISAPOINTED OF AMAZON CANADA"
"Amazon Prime Canada, when I first got Prime I was really pleased the items I ordered arrived within the two day free delivery period, but it didn't last. Unlike the USA prime canadians only get free 2 day shipping and some online storage for the $80 annually, As time went on though the free two day shipping became free 3 day then 4 day and now Im up to 6 days. on top of that you need to be careful as the prime items offered on their website are most often more expensive (I assume to augment the free shipping) and the "discount" they say you get is more often than not a blatant exaggeration, when you see "you save 50%" and check to see what others are selling for online the prices are identical so Im not sure where Amazon gets the 50% discount from maybe 50% off the 200% over price.
Its the shipping that most bother me though, as you sign an agreement you pay them the money and they they do not consistently follow through on their end of said agreement, You can talk to customer support but while they offer all sorts of fixes and Ill do this for you todays, it really ads up to blowing smoke. And I noticed that after the 3rd time I inquired about shipping times they removed the 2 day free shipping option all together, for which I had to contact them again and get it re instated. I could understand if I was in Rural Canada but Im not Im on a city near a hub.
So as it sits at this moment after having tried Amazon Prime for almost a year and ordering a great deal through them I would NOT suggest it to friends, not with walmart now offering most of the same items (online) and shipping free both to their stores and your door on most items, the shipping takes about as long as amazon but you do not have to give them the $80 annually.
for the record I did not act like an ass to customer service I didnt complain overly I was nt rude or act in anyway to get blackballed etc It seems that Amazon.ca just offered services and takes money for things it cannot deliver and while the cost of membership may seem low, to many canadians its a fari sum of money and if your not getting what you paid for well it ads insult to injury.
Customer service is great but their hands are pretty much tied by company policy at best they can say they will do something offer you 5% off your next order etc their return policy is decent enough though you have to ship back and as they pay it goes out regular mail so its a week min to get to them a day or two to check and another week to get a replacement
In short my biggest issue with Amazon.ca is the Prime shipping and probably only worth it if you order a lot and dont care if it gets to you fast if these poiints are issues save your money and do not get prime, (at least until they start to offer the perks the USA customers get when they buy a prime membership ie movies, music, tv, cloud storage, free shipping etc) "

COMMENTS: I am in the process of filing with the ROYAL CANADIAN MOUNTED POLICE IN YELLOWKNIFE.
They also told me that my concerns are genuine.
Apparently the Once NOBEL AMAZON.CA has reduced itself into an unwieldy and virtually unmonitored bazaar that is rife with con artists and other businesses behaving badly.
The only shield that stands between me and the fleas that inhabit this mangy mutt of a marketplace is Amazon’s A-to-Z Guarantee – and even then you have to exhaust every effort to extract an amicable resolution from the very people who screwed you in the first place.
Then apparently AMAZON.CA will offer to refund my money only if you remove your negative rating from its Amazon storefront?
And of course Amazon.ca does not disclose its returns and refund policies, even when asked, and based from the USA, presents itself as based in Canada? AND SHIPS FROM CHINA.
WHAT A SCAM !!
OHH How the Mighty have hit the bottom of the barrel.
It's sad that AMAZON took the path of involving themselves with 3rd party sellers, and businesses other than Amazon who use Amazon’s colossal e-commerce platform to peddle their own merchandise. Some of these brands are known to all – vaunted household names, ubiquitous corporate marques, the retail elite – and others are known only to God and the shadowy people who run them: shifty-looking fly-by-nighters with a patchwork sampling of Chinese-made garbage on display like it’s a digital yard sale.

AMAZON.CA you set the BAR - A NEW LOW."
"I've been an Amazon Prime customer for 3+ years and we've LOVED it....up until now. They've recently switched from almost exclusively using UPS for our purchases (to my door in 2 days) to using Canada Post - which leaves a card in my superbox on Day 2 saying I can't pick up my package until after 1pm the following day. This is NOT TWO DAY DELIVERY as advertised, and it's highly inconvenient to have to drive 30 minutes return to the post office. I've dealt with 2 online and one phone customer service rep from Amazon and they all acknowledge it's "frustrating" but refuse to do anything about it and refuse to show me how my item will be shipped before I order. We'll definitely be reducing the number of items we order at Amazon - it's just not as convenient anymore. Too bad, it was nice while it lasted."
