"When I ordered 2 battery heat shields from American Trucks, the site had me input the make and model of my truck. They said the shields are a fit with my truck batteries. They were not. I contact AT and requested a return with a prepaid label because it was their mistake. After some arguing on the chat, the agent said I would have a label in an hour. It never came. It took two additional chats, in which they kept moving the goal posts, imposing requirements never mentioned in their return policy, and telling me different stories at different times similar to a bureaucratic run around. Plus I had to dispute the charge on American Express to finally get a return label. When they eventually credited the return to my card, they did not reimburse the original shipping charge, so I again disputed the charge on AMEX and submitted transcripts of the 2 subsequent chats. AMEX credited my account for the original shipping to make me whole. I believe AT's business practices in this instance were deceptive and, if not for AMEX, I am not sure I would have received any refund. The whole endeavor took almost a month. Terrible company. This was my first and last order!"

"Spent a lot of time with the tech to get the right part (muffler) ordered but the wrong part came. My truck was already on a lift at the installers so I just told them to weld whatever they have to in order to make it work. Also, the description of the product didn't meet my expectations when installed. Not anywhere as loud as described."
