"I finally tracked down the reason for the clothes not getting clean and soap left on the clothes after the spin cycle. The plastic splines of the agitator had ground down to nothing and the drive axle was just spinning inside of it. After trying to track one down locally I decided to order from Appliance Parts Pros. They were great as always and especially this particular time, the part came in a single day and it took less than 15 minutes to replace the agitator. " The fill tube of the ice maker in our fridge kept freezing solid. A Google search pointed me to AppliancePartsPro.com. I looked up my model and found a review saying this problem is usually caused by a slow leak in the valve controlling the water. I found the replacement valve and watched the installation video -- didn't look too hard so I ordered a replacement.
Installation was even easier than I expected because my assembly didn't have an extra valve and screw-on connections attached like the one in the video did. All I had to do was pull off 2 electrical connectors, pull out 3 quick-release water lines, then connect them to the replacement valve assembly. It took about 30 minutes, I spent more time than that finding the water shutoff valve out by the curb, LOL."
