"As a trouble shooter from various experiences in my life, this was a first into unknown territory. First attempt was good for one wash. Further guessing since I had not attempted to replace the tubing, I cut off 1/4 to 3/8" of the tubing going onto the component and zip tied it to ensure it was secure and no air or vacuum leak. So far, so good, working fine! "
