"Don't be fooled by "Hassle Free" Return Policy
I purchased parts for a GE appliance that I ended up not needing. When I place the order on the website, I saw that they advertise a "Hassle Free" Return Policy. I returned the products and days later I receive an email that I was not going to receive credit for one of the parts because it had been "installed". The part was in perfect condition and fully operable. I asked to have the part returned to me since I was not going to receive credit, and I was told that the part was thrown away and would not be returned to me. Their "Hassle Free" claim is deceptive."
“The Returns section of our website (https://www.appliancepartspros.com/customerservice/returns.aspx) states: "Parts must be in new, resalable condition. All gas and electrical parts must not have been installed. Returned items that have been installed will not be returned to customer."
Additionally, the bottom of the RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) form that was printed out and included with the return also states: "Enclose this form with your return. Please, make sure your return is securely packaged in its original or compatible packaging. Parts must be in resalable condition. All gas and electrical parts must not have been installed. Returned items that have been installed will not be returned to customer."
However, as a courtesy, we have issued the customer a refund in the amount of $188.31 for order # 10818773. That should process back to the account used to place the order in 3 - 5 business days.
