"My element in my 20yr old oven burned out I was sure it was either an expensive service call or new oven. I watched a youtube video and the replacement of the element seemed very easy so I went ahead and ordered the part from Appliance parts pros. The box did arrived damaged and I think as a result the element was bent but it wasn't too bad so I went ahead and did the install. It works perfectly. The element doesn't lie perfectly flat as it should but it works fine and I have a working oven for $45 so I'm very happy. "

"My kenmore washer (pretty old) quit spinning. I looked on appliance parts pros and other sites to diagnose. Once I had my info I ordered a number of parts partly because I didn't want to not have the wrong part.
I replaced the lid switch, transmission coupler, clutch and agitator pawls.
My only issue was that in the repair video to replace the clutch I was instructed to lay the machine on it's back which I did.
Once everything was replaced I stood the machine up and "test drove it" only to have it spin violently.
I searched for possible reasons and found that when you lay the machine on it;s back that the "skate plate" may become out of place.
Upon checking that was the issue. Once I put it back in place all was well and the machine spins fine.
I'd suggest that the instruction to check the "skate plate" be included in any video where you are instructed to lay the machine on it's back."
