"I know Maytag is VERY proud of their parts. I wish they were as proud in the making of them. Appliance Parts Pros were the lowest cost providers of the parts I needed, and they shipped them quickly, but two wheels on a plastic support shouldn't cost $25... If I'd added the tray, it would have come close to the price of a new unit.
I'll keep APP on standby should I need more parts. I don't blame them for the high prices."

"I have a twenty year old Maytag washer, that was needing some attention. I R&R'd the motor slides, with new springs. New belts; new brake assembly, with upper and lower bearings; new tub bearing kit; mounting stem kit; bought the special spanner wrench, to work the top end, which I highly recommend), and had the parts, THE NEXT MORNING!!!!!
Following the instructional video's on Appliance Parts Pros, and using the Model Number of my washer, the parts ordering and transaction was snap, and I started at the bottom, first. I was done with it, in under three hours, with at least an hour of that cleaning and preparing the job.
I moved to the top end and spent about the same three hours, again; with at least an hour of cleaning, and prep work. Took my time; and, with a half day's time and about one third the price of a new Maytag, I'm back on the easy chair, listening to my wife praise my sharp mechanical skills! hahaha
