"When I order from the ApplianceParts365 website it said "in stock ships in 1 business day". That was on Monday 6/13. OK, thats great! So I ordered the part. By that Thursday it still hadn't shipped so I sent them an email asking why. On Friday I got a reply saying they were "struggling to maintain inventory" (but it was "in stock" when I ordered it!) and "nationwide shipping delays" (I get that, but you have to ship the item before it can have a shipping delay) and told that it was now in stock (what a coincidence!). I checked USPS tracking and it said "label created, awaiting item". On the following Tuesday (6/21) USPS still said "label created, awaiting item" so I again sent them an email and was told "Your order has been shipped by USPS. USPS tracking is not updating well so please excuse if tracking is not current."
Today is 6/25 and my item just arrived. If I look at USPS tracking it shows that USPS didn't receive the item until 6/23 and that looks correct as I can see the shipment moving across the country along with the dates (leading up to todays deliver) and they all make sense. I opened the item and found that it was defective - part of it is made of rubber and the rubber is split.
So, the item I ordered to be shipped in 1 business day on 6/13 and was told shipped on 6/17 actually shipped on 6/23, and they simply made a shipping label on 6/17 (and lied about when they actually shipped it) to try and fool me into thinking it had shipped earlier and they shipped me a defective item."
