However, the service was even better; the guys who dropped it off the first day couldn’t fit it in the room where we wanted it so they CAME BACK THE NEXT DAY!! "I hate this sofa. I have had it for about 6 weeks. Within the first couple of days, the tops of the back cushions were sagging. Within a couple weeks, you could feel the difference of foam density in the center of the seat cushions versus the edges. You can see the difference between the center cushion (no one ever sits there) and the end seats. After about an hour sitting in an end seat, I have back pain. "Found Article by chance when searching for the perfect sofa for my small deck. After falling in love with all of the sofas, I had a hard time choosing jut one! Ordering was easy. Delivery was amazing. Only took 2 weeks, and the delivery service unboxed my sofa and chair and carried them into my condo! Only wish my deck was larger so I could order a second chair!! "Depending on the price of the Article pieces you pick, the quality of the piece may not be very good at all. We ordered two chairs and a loveseat. It took roughly two months to arrive. The products showed to be in stock when we ordered, but after a couple of weeks waiting with no update to our order I decided to contact them. I was then given several different dates it could arrive (multiple contacts).
The furniture finally arrived and after seeing the loveseat in person we knew right away it was not for us. Very cheap looking and very small, even for a loveseat. I checked their return policy and it seems easy enough. Matter of fact. Returns and exchanges are very easy, until it comes to the point where you send the piece you are returning or exchanging back.
Article will not provide all of the necessary documents to you or the shipping company for them to accept the item to ship. So far, I have had them send two shipping companies over to refuse the loveseat due to not having a bill of lading. Each time I contact Article they just send someone else over to tell me the same thing. These shipping companies schedule time where you need to be home unless you authorize them to leave your items outside, which seems irresponsible. Article reps must be trained to give you a rude "it is what it is" response to your frustration and offered $50 in store credit.
I'll never buy here again. The store credit is useless. The more expensive furniture is nice, but you can get very similar things elsewhere and likely for less money, especially if you have trendy furniture stores locally.
If it were not for the shipping disaster, the length of time to actually receive an order that they claim was in stock, then the rude customer service all happening in one experience with the company, I might have overlooked some of this."
