"CRIMINALS. They deliberately sent me the wrong cpu (533fsb) although packing slip showed the item I ordered (800fsb). I got hung up on and only a "sorry". They didn't want to issue an RMA, placed the burden on me. Called card company immediately. Sent all the items back after a 2 week wait for rma. They then sent me pictures of a damaged cpu claiming I damaged it and they weren't going to refund. UNBELIEVABLE. I can't believe THEY damaged it (that's if it's even the same one I returned). I'm a technician at UPS and their claim history is now going to be looked into. STAY AWAY FROM THEM. I hope reading this because if UPS finds any claim scams, they will be charged."

"Worst customer service ever--Atacom refuses legitimate refunds. I spent almost a year trying to get a refund. Customer service can only be described as unprofessional and combative. Don't waste your money at Atacom!"

"DO NOT buy from these people!! Prices fluctuate too frequently. We bought a motherboard from them and although shipping was timely (should have been for the price), the price dropped on it within less than a couple of weeks - not a substantial amount (12.95), but that makes it all the worse that they wouldn't refund that small of a difference like any other business.

The gentleman on the phone was nice, but his hands were tied, basically, and after emailing the company about the situation, I received a EXTREMELY nasty letter in return.

WE WON'T BE DOING BUSINESS WITH THEM AGAIN AND WE RECOMMEND TO ALL TO NOT DEAL WITH THEM.

My husband won't be home for two weeks to put together the system - IT BETTER WORK or I'll be calling the Better Business Bureau and/or whatever online entity there is.

"Lost my first order and tech support was somewhat unresponsive at first. BUT they fixed the problem to my satisfaction - they researched the issue and admitted there was a problem with their product ("internal 6 in 1 flash reader") and refunded my money. I would shop there again."

"I ordered a MB CPU & RAM from them and waited 7 days to receive the order for a cost of $20.00 +. On arrival I installed the MB with CPU and ram and the MB didnot boot, Nothing. MB was a Asus P4PE/L. The green light on the MB came on but no fan no post nothing. I Emailed them that night telling them my problem and they gave me some option to see if I could get it to boot. Nothing. I DLed the RMA form and faxed it in the next day, a Thursday. I received the RMA # Friday afternoon, 3:00 with a 10 day get to them warning that it would be refused after that time. The 10 days included 2 weekends and they state that they won't cross ship. So I sent it off on saturday and they received it 10 days to the day. In the mean time I order another MB, same make model from some 1 else, I waited over a week then called there RMA department to fine out what was going on and they hung up on me without ever answering the call. So I called there regular # and waas hung up on again, some 1 picked up the phone then hung it up without a word. I email them about my refund, the emailed back that it take 2 weeks to get a refund. It didn't take 2 weeks to take my money for the order. They are now trying to refund me -15% of the current selling price for a defective product. This is some scam, send out bad products then make 15% on returns with out ever selling anything. I called my CC company."

"I bought a mini barebone system when it was on special promotion. It came with a free 2nd Day Air shipping which was FANTASTIC! The product price was also $40 below other retailers. I received the product without damage and I am currently working on building the system. Atacom has low prices on great computer parts and I will definitely purchase from them again."

"Items arrived in severely damaged and unusable condition. Company told me to contact the common carrier, FedEx and file a damage claim. I followed their directions and FedEx examined the package and sent the items back to the company. Company refused a refund arguing that I would not be refunded my money unless and until they were refunded their money from FedEx. Company claimed FedEx had my money, not the Company. I filed complaints with the better business bureau and the federal trade commission. Buyer beware."
