"We rented a car for 4 days while visiting San Francisco. It was a seamless and super easy transaction. We had paid in advance for our rental and didn't owe a dime at pickup. I was skeptical after reading negative reviews how our rental would go and we were pleasantly surprised that it was so efficient and easy. Thanks!"
"I was a bit concerned about using Atlas Choice as I had never heard of the organization. I was also concerned that a voucher had to be printed out and turned over to the rental car company at the time of the rental. Well, I was hooked in by a rate that was much lower than any other website offered, and figured there'd be a catch to it. Nope - I was wrong! The counter representative at the rental car agency had everything online at the time i arrived, and there were no issues or problems whatsoever. i didn't even have to give him the voucher! Not only was the rental fee half of what the next lowest website was, but the process was equally great. I will use AtlasChoice again!!"
"Got charged twice and they barely returned my money back also did not reply to my emails"
"The check in process was two-fold. At the counter in the airport, then a bit of a trip to the garage where we waited in the cold just to quickly be told to go find our own car in a particular lot range. There were 4 cars. Two were way too small and identical. My friend and I booked together and were able to get the other two cars. Right when we were doing so, two more people walked up, following the directions we were given.
We did have to wait at this second spot for awhile because a customer had an issue. A second employee down there would have greatly sped up our process and kept us out of the elements. The cars we got were nice and the process of getting it was not complicated, but had there been any defects on the car, it would have been a major hassle of figuring out how to report it and not get charged for any issue afterwards.
We were told to fill up within 10 miles of the airport. We stayed in a hotel 7 minutes away. Gas stations were not easily found and that morning it was a downpour. We were trying to get close to the airport for gas and very quickly we were on the airport grounds where there are no stations (obviously). We had the choice of not filling up or possibly being late for the flight due to having to get off property and still find a gas station. We opted to not miss the flight. We had plenty of time, we just did not want to take a chance.
At the Dollar counter they have a sign that says they will fill up at $1.85/ gallon, so we were not too worried. I received an $87 charge. I am figuring it was gas, because I did not get any kind of receipt to let me know what it was covering. Since the car was in good shape, I am guessing it does not include a cleaning charge.
We were not told what we would be charged per gallon when we picked up the cars and it would be so very helpful if we were given a map or a couple of addresses of gas stations close by the airport. Neither I nor my friend stayed in the area. We left to our destinations immediately upon getting the cars. We did ask the hotel, but their directions did not work out and we did not have a station name or address to put into our GPS.
I realize we could have planned better on our part to avoid this and I certainly will from now on, but we were both there for family on short notice and our focus was on that and it would have been nice for the company who knows the pitfalls and the region to have a small added service to help out on me not blowing the savings on the car rental with filling up the tank of gas for just under 100 dollars. I have a large vehicle and I have not spent that much money on my tank, even when gas was higher.
The check in process was not explained, so we learned by doing. It was quick, however, there was no inspection of the car done with us, so if the company came back to say there was damage, it would be a he said, she said scenario. I am figuring the company turns over so many cars in a given day, much less year, that they do not focus intently on the physical state of the car unless it is very apparent, however, I do know contractually, I am responsible for damage, but there is not a good system on check-out or check-in that addresses this.
One last item back on the gas. Me knowing if the gas station is 10 miles from the airport or not is a very difficult task. The airport itself is large, so 10 miles from center or edge or where. That means I have to have a map or a phone with GPS and I am going to have to figure it out and that happens once I figure out where the gas stations are at. The route we took to and from the airport did not have easy on and off gas stations. In fact, I did not see any gas stations until I was out on the highway leading out of Atlanta. I am letting you know the experience from the customer's side. I live in Houston, so navigating a large town is not the issue, so just imagine people from small towns or older people or young people with no experience. At the least, if the challenges could be verbalized to customers when they are getting their cars, it would not only be helpful, but an added service to make the experience positive. After all, it is a positive experience, especially when it is an above and beyond thoughtfulness, that keeps customers coming back and recommending services to others.
The car worked for my needs. The car was clean, just washed, and comfortable. It was a fairly quick pick-up and definitely a quick drop-off. Employees were courteous. The company did not take a negative advantage of the lack of inspections done together. The pricing was the best part of all. Thanks for reading."
"My car rental through the Atlas partner (Dollar) went very smoothly. No problems. Atlas has the best rates of any car rental agency I've tried, so I always use them. I highly recommend Atlas."
"Weather caused my flight to be cancelled. My new arrangement was for 2 days later. Unfortunately, the rental provider would only hold the vehicle for 24 hours. Since I had to re-book through Atlaschoice, I had to pay about 22% more. This, added to the local fees and taxes put the 2 week rental far above what I would have paid booking directly with any of the local companies.
It took at least 3 international calls before I got someone willing to re-book my rental without a 75% cancellation charge."
"Hi there. I rented a car from Gatwick Easirent, and that was ok. Plus side? I had a good car at a great rate. Minus? Hard to find the desk; had to wait a long time in line - only 2 guys at the desk and I waited 25 mins; I was very disappointed to be asked to pay Easirent's own insurance as well as Atlas'. I declined, but the man made it clear if there was a problem, I would have to pay the deductible for Easirent out of my own pocket, & then try to get the money back from Atlas. He said "I don't know anything much about Atlas, but I think it could be a problem if there's an accident from Easirent's point of view." If I had paid his full bill, it would have been double what I had already paid online to Atlas. Final point, not in Easirent's control, but the signage to the rear entrance of the Hotel where Easirent has its desk sent me round twice before I realised that "Way out" really meant "Way in". Luckily, I wasn't running late. Oh, one more thing, there was a man in line before me when I was handing in my keys who was clearly very angry and upset with Easirent. No idea if he was with Atlas, but it did not sound good. And again, I waited about 25 mins in line before I got seen as I was returning my car. So thanks for asking. Alan Cook. Guelph, Ontario"
"The car Hyundai i20 was fine for us, just 2 persons, although it suffered a bit in the uphills.
The rental company contacted me beforehand to do all the checkin procedure in advance, as I arrived after office opening hours. Everything was ok, I digitally signed the rental agreement and I gave them my credit card data. But I did not like to find a letter (bad quality photocopy) in the car saying that the insurance did not cover anything of the car until reception of such letter, signed by me, by post.
When you have already call the company and exchanged few emails, why do I find such letter? I think this is an unfair way of welcoming a customer, you feel that you are uncovered even though you have paid for it."
"Smooth transaction that presented zero aggravation! "
"I just wanted to give my opinion on the wonderful experience I've had booking a car through Atlaschoice. Your booking process was fast, easy to understand and efficient. I was so impressed I sent your information to my three daughters who all travel for business. and they have started using your system because of the ease of use it provides. The rental cars at the various companies you partner with always have the correct vehicle and the correct price. Thank you for making this process so pleasurable. "
"Have used Atlaschoice several times over the last few years and have never been disappointed. Price was best around and pick up and drop off at their partners was easy. Atlaschoice is my go to car rental company!"

"Two years ago, I used Atlaschoice for the first time, and there was a bit of confusion on honoring the coupon at the rental car dealer at the airport. This time, I breezed through without a hitch. I also easily added on extra options/upgrades directly from the rental merchant when I picked up my vehicle. Finally, Atlaschoice's price was about 1/2 of what other merchants were offering for the same vehicle. I travel a lot and will definitely use Atlaschoice again."
"I was charged twice due to a website error, but it was reversed within 24 hours. No other problems."
