"DO NOT BUT FROM THIS COMPANY!!! I ordered a DVD player for the car which took 4 weeks to arrive, and so didn't arrive for when I needed it. I wanted to send it back but was going to have to send it back to China. they kept trying to persuade me to keep it. After about 25 emails back and forth they eventually found someone else to send it to in the UK. They said they'd cover postage. I sent it tracked as requested but they never refunded me and now won;t answer any of my emails. THEY ARE CRIMINALS - AVOID!!!"

"I was shipped a defective unit. They wanted me to pay for shipping costs BACK to China but I ended up arguing that it wasn't fair to pay additional for something they did wrong. They offered to reimburse me for my shipping costs, upon arrival of the product.

Now they claim they don't have the product (although my tracking number says it was delivered). They won't refund my money for shipping OR for the unit. Customer service is terrible.

They will only act if you threaten to escalate the dispute through paypal. So, word of advice: DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS COMPANY! THEY ARE UNETHICAL ILLEGITIMATE AND UNHELPFUL!

If you do happen to buy from them, make sure you do it through paypal and escalate the claim for refund. They get scared of being investigated because obviously they're some sort of shady company.

"Yo creo que viven de timar a la gente, no tienen nada de lo que anuncian y siempre ponen la misma excusa que tarda porque solo pides 1 unidad, menos mal que si pido un camion... Lamentable y aun no puedo hablar del servicio postventa pero creo que no sabran ni que es eso. No os dejeis engañar por sus precios no son de confianza. "Simply put, AWEFUL!!! I got a radio/dvd/navi for my dodge caravan and the screen has been a problem from day one. Used to only turn on in the summer now wont work at all. Bluetooth quality is awful (echo to call recipients). A neat idea but build quality is junk for 400$. Stay away!!!"

"These guys are cowboys; avoid like the plague!! I bought a DVD/GPS unit for my Toyota RAV4. Delivery was very late (over 1 month to get to UK). Then this thing just packed up one day after less than 2 months, as I was driving along listening to a CD. Checked all the connections, took it to a car audio expert who confirmed the unit was faulty. So, I shipped it back (at great expense) to Qualir for refund or replacement. On receipt, they claimed it wasn't at all faulty, and that some parts were not received ...! I insisted on a refund as I was getting a bit suspicious of them. They proceeded to refund just over half of the initial cost of the unit, saying that it was now a second hand product! When I complained, they insisted that this was what their accountant had calculated as a reasonable refund.

"QL-SPT774 for 2011 Kia Sportage Platinum. After a lot of research to make sure this thing would fit my model, purchased it and the head rest screens. It specifically said it suited all Sportage models.

It got here and looked great, and that's where the greatness ended. Went to the installers, they rang to say this thing needed a digital adapter to link the car's amplifiers. There was no adapter included, and after several mind numbingly inane emails to Qualir, turns out they don't make one.

Trying to explain to them the concept of "not fit for purpose" didn't really seem to make sense. They then tried telling me that their site noted it didn't suit my model - which was true when they sent the email, by then they'd changed it. Unfortunately for them, I'd screen captured the site before they changed it. They also suggested I return the unit without tracking and insurance - no. They also suggested I sell it second hand locally - no. At that point I gave up and bought a third party adapter. Which was cheaper than replacing every speaker in the car because their unit outputs to 4ohms and the speakers in the car are 2ohms. And cheaper than posting the thing back to them.

So then it's finally all in. So how is it? Not Good. Original car amp was excellent, this thing is tinny. The screen is too light, on its brightest setting you can't see it in anything more than indirect sunlight, or at night. It has everything, but none of the units software talks to each other, so you can set the time in multiple places, and all of the interfaces are different, only the source button takes it back to the start. Half the steering wheel buttons are inactive. Leave a DVD in the unit and it clicks its head off. Driving, the thing changes sources without being touched. Hilariously the rods for the headrests are too narrow and rattle around in the sockets. I wonder how safe they are in an accident.

Oh and within 5 minutes of hooking it up, it was asking me to install new GPS maps. And don't get me started on the GPS, hilarious.

"Consider this review as a warning, Do NOT buy from AutoDVDGPS.com / Qualir, shipping takes 30+ days to arrive even though they claim it should take a lot less, defective units, terrible customer support, and NO warranties are honored, you only have a 7 day window to report a defective unit under warranty, thus you WILL have to pay shipping both to and from China, to have them TRY to repair their defective unit.

Since you are already out of warranty after only 7 days, If you send the unit back to China for repairs by DHL, FedEx, etc in order to speed up the process they will make you responsible for their own taxes & import duties!

You will also find generic 5 star reviews in here about them, but the poor grammar used to write the reviews does make me think they are fake, and are actually these thieves just trying to drive up their own store rating.

Honestly, you are playing Russian Roulette with this people,
before placing an order with them, be mentally prepared to accept a high risk of loosing $500+ USD with them.

"STOP!!! DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SITE. I have a radio/dvd/gps system that is only 4 months old for my 2010 Dodge Ram 1500 that has caused electrical problems in my truck. Caused all the lights to light up on the dash(I mean every light), has caused me to be unable to turn the truck off, and just recently caused the hazard lights to come on and start unlocking and locking the doors as I'm driving down the road. They have offered to repair if I want to pay shipping and customs fee back to Chine, but have said they will not give me a refund since it is past their two month window. It's ONLY 4 MONTHS old it's barely been over two months. I would not buy from them save your money and frustration dealing with them. I understand that their warranty for refund is only two months but I expect a product I paid $400 dollars for to last longer than 4 months. I have emailed them repeatedly respectfully and politely requesting a refund as I do not feel safe putting the unit back in my vehicle and they repeatedly tell me it's over 2 months old. Their website states headrest is in stock, when I ordered the headrest monitor, they claimed that they could not longer get the headrest. After 15 days and 10 emails, they final shipped me the wrong color headrest. They call it gray, but it's beige. Sorry customer service, every one acts like they don't understand. "

"I bought my 2nd unit from Qualir since the one in my VW Jetta worked very well for years. Unfortunately the issues others experienced on these reviews popped up on the unit I purchased for my Silverado. The unit made clicking noises with CD in it, even when not playing. Sometimes wont find the TOC. The Bluetooth stopped working, then after a return for repairs on my dime (since they claimed they found nothing wrong) it went completely berzerk and started flipping through its system sources and functions uncontrollably, and eventually just locked up. I had no choice but to remove it since it would not turn off. I've pasted my rediculous email string so no one at Qualir can say i should have done different. They also seem to always point to the harness connector going bad, don't they? Even though mine was clearly a software glitch. I wanted to avoid posting this but patience is gone, they did it to themselves.
Last email reply on 5/2/2012, stunning. They have resolve, i can grant them that. To be A-holes that is! Changing my ratings to all worst. The whole "nice service" is a facade. They are communists at the end of the day and screwing you over with a smile.

I have checked the previous emails between us and found that the unit was resent to you on March 1st. And the second time you reflected the problem was on April 7th. It has been nearly month and we're not clear of the condition of the unit during that time. According to our warranty policy, even you buy a new unit, but you don't reflect the problem within 7 days after you sign the parcel, we also cannot offer compensation for the delivery charge. Hope you can understand it. Please pay to send the unit back for repair.

Im again concerned why you would need a manager for what should be a normal process to deal with a defective unit. I feel that i'm uncovering a dishonest side of Qualir. Unless your next email IS the solution with tracking# of a replacement unit on the way to me, and confirmation of my compensation from previous shipment, i will ignore it and need to go viral with my documented case. I'm now feeling more comfortable to spend 3x more for a unit locally that provides proper customer service. I'm out of patience and time with Qualir now.

Please follow my instructions and it is easy for you to test it. Then I can check and provide a proper solution. I have to clarify that you have bought the unit for more than 60 days. This unit worked fine for many months before it started these problems. There is no need to attach to a battery since the connector only supplies power and ground to the unit. This truck is very basic and has NO other controls the canbus connector can be used for. Its either on, or its not. The rest of the problems are within the unit itself.
The additional canbus connector was purchased when I accidentally discarded the first one to the trash.

I'm not sure after this video, why you'd think anything outside the unit is wrong, since its having major software glitch. This is a internal controller that is apparently going bad.

RMA is needed, please advise

"I ORDERED A UNIT AND WAS IN MY CAR FOR ONLY ONE WEEK AND BROKE AND INSTEAD OF EXCHANGING THE UNIT. THEY WANT ME TO SEND BACK FOR REPAIRS. THE UNIT ONLY PLAYED IN MY CAR FOR ONE WEEK. VERY CHEAP QUALITY AND THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS EVEN WORST.

SAVE YOURSELF SOME TIME AND DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THESE GUYS.

"The unit i ordered looked great when I took it out of the box. That was the end of the good. Here is my list of problems.
The unit did not fit correctly into my vehicle
The sound quality from the radio was horrible
the gps would yell at you then whisper at you
the bluetooth calls sounded horrible on both ends
My factory steering wheel controls would not work
my list goes on, after doing days of there troubleshooting steps nothing changed. I had to ship the unit back to china at my own expense. After that blow the price the said they would refund me wasn't the price I got refunded, they took another $50 off of it. So I'm out over $100 because of there shity project that did not work as they advertised. Don't waste your money
