"Still waiting for parts that I ordered twelve days ago and paid $31.00 extra for expedited shipping.
This was added on October 15, 2012 in reply to Autotoys response to my review.
First, the part that took twelve days to get DID NOT need to be programmed. It simply did not ship until ten days after I ordered it. I asked several times for a tracking number, and never was given one.
Second, the part that did need to be programmed did not leave Autotoys until Thursday, while I have emails telling me it would ship on Monday or Tuesday.
Third, when I emailed for assistance, Autotoys response was "remove the negative feedback and we will help you".
Fourth, Autotoys NEVER did get the unit working. I had to get Audiovox tech support to get the settings correct.
Fifth, I wrote a long and detailed letter, asking specific questions, to Autotoys. Never got any reply.
Sixth, Autotoys offered "compensation" if I would revise or remove the negative review. "

"I purchased a GROM USB2P addon module for my Camry. The product is amazing. I was skeptical about the bluetooth music sounding great compared to USB. This was one one of the reasons that I got the USB unit in the first place. Testing showed that was just as good! The fact that it's wireless is a bonus, but I will suck more battery from my phone.
Installation was a breeze and only took about 30 mins for everything minus the blue tooth mic. I'll do that when I have more time.
My only complaint overall is that their process took a while before the unit even shipped. I know it says it could take 1-5 days for processing but still, I don't see how updating the firmware on the unit could take 5 days, considering we do it at home in less than 10 mins! However I don't want to ding them since they did warn me ahead of time and their product was amazing."

"I bought the small door lock actuator #13275. As the other reviewers have stated, it is a perfect fit for a 2002 Ford Escape rear hatch. My experience with Autotoys was good overall. They shipped the part quickly and it worked as advertised. Shipping costs were very high...I paid over $30 for 3 day shipping on a small part that came in Priority Mail, so it couldn't have cost them more than $6 to send it. Tracking info was poor. They directed me to UPS, who of course, had no record of the shipment. Customer service replied promptly but was not as courteous as a business should be toward their customers. Would I shop here again? Yes, because they had the part I needed, keeping me from getting ripped off at the Ford garage."

"I was searching the web for a siren to use on a remote alarm package that required 12vdc equip. I had never purchased from Autotoys and was concerned about the quality of their products as well as the security of purchasing thru a supplier that I had no history with or direct knowledge of.
I saw what seemed to be the item I was searching for and decided to take a chance.
Purchasing was easy, they accepted paypal and so at least I felt a little more secure.
When I received my siren that I purchased, it came in at or under the specified delivery date.
