"This order was a complete nightmare. I bought a motherboard on the third. It wasnt in stock, but I didnt find that out untill 3 days later when i called to find out the status. I was told that it was on order, and should be in stock in one or two more days. I was also told that if i cancled my order at that point i would be forced to pay a 15% restocking fee, for something they never even stocked in the first place! Over all this order has sucked!"
"My last shopping experience with this company was a complete nightmare! I ordered a motherboard from them for overnight delivery and it arrived on the specified date but was defective. I called them and was told to ship it back and they would refund not only the cost of the board but the shipping charges and ship me another board, I agreed to this.
After thinking about this for a short time, I called the company back and told them that I had decided that I just wanted a refund. They said no problem. I shipped the board back 2nd day air and when it was received. They shipped me another board via ground, which I specifically stated I didn't want. Now here's the kicker, they also charged me for a second board of the same type and overnight shipping which was never shipped.
Now I have over $300 of my money tied up with the company. I called them several times speaking to everyone from the sales personnel to the company CEO. They assured me money would be promptly refunded. It took over 3 weeks and the intervention of my bank (after I filed a dispute)to get my money back.
The shipping charges were never refunded as promised...I assure you I would never do business with this company again...they were not true to their word and that's all a consumer can go by. I'm writing this in hopes of preventing someone else from going through the same type of situation!

"I've ordered from Axiontech for years via the mail before moving to the same city. I have always had prompt shipping and excellent over-the-phone support. The prices are excellent and shipping is cheap.
With that said, if you live in Houston and decide to pick up your product, you're going to be there a while. They have probably the slowest counter service of any store I've ever visited. I always get what I need, but I have to allot an extra half-hour to get in and out every time."

"I ordered a DFI Lanparty Pro875B on August 25th of this year. It took them until September 1st to ship it and it still hasn't arrived yet. Another terrible thing is the tracking number that they have on there website and the one they sent to me in an email is not correct. I called them and I have emailed them 6 TIMES. No reply from emails yet. They are very rude over the phone as well. I will never do business with them again. Steer clear of this company you have been warned."

"Great price, quick service. I ordered an adaptec 2940U2W SCSI controller on 8/24/04 to replace an older one that was beginning to show signs of failure. Received the until on 8/27/04--3 days earlier than estimated.
One complaint though. It appears there was a problem with the email that was supposed to be sent when the item was shipped that had the tracking number in it. I was able to find the information on the website though, so it wasn't really a big deal.
Would do business with them again.

"Only received 1 email the day I ordered which was the order confirmation. Never received tracking number or any shipping information. Emailed customer service for tracking number. I was supposed to receive an email back within 24 hours. Never got email. Called and they said they would look it up and email it to me. Never got email. Called back and they said it will take 24 hours to get tracking number. This is already 6 days after I ordered item. Will NEVER buy from again. Horrible customer service and slow shipping. Very poor communication.

I called Axion Tech on the 25th and told them to cancel my order if it had not shipped yet. They informed me it shipped on the 23rd. I called back on the 26th around 1:30 Central Time. They actually had the tracking number by then but that was only because the package shipped 1 hour earlier. I was rather peeved at this point. Taking 7 days to ship a package is unacceptable. I canceled the order. They were apologetic and said I would receive a full refund. I received a call from Axion Tech later that day in response to the feed back I left. The rep apologized for the delay and lack of communication. The only problems I had with Axion were the lengthy time it took to ship my in stock item and the lack of communication (no emails informing me of my order status and no response from emails I sent Axion). The follow up call from Axion was appreciated."

Do you have any idea what it is to try to squeeze time to go to an internet cafe so you can order parts to build your dream machine without experience whatsoever in this field and buying online from a shop 6842.39 miles away from you for the 1st time.

"Richard McCord gave me the best service I have ever received from a computer salesman/tech. I bought a Matrox G550 dual-head video card and my computer started crashing several times a day after installing it. Richard researched the error message I was getting and told me that the problem might not be the video card or its driver, but rather defective memory. He told me how to install and run Memtest86, a free memory tester. One of my two memory modules was defective, much to my surprise. Removing it from the computer solved my problem. Both Richard and his co-worker Carlos are dedicated, knowledgable, and friendly. Axion offers a full-range of products at competetive prices. "Wow!!! All I can say is fantastic service above and beyond the call. I purchased a used "QuickSell" laptop and understood the warranty. However, the LCD went out 30 days later and called John Chau in QuickSell and he said to send it in and they would fix it at not charge...I did and he did.
I have the laptop back now and it works perfectly.
