"I recently made a purchase from Axion. I ordered 2 wireless pcmcia cards and 1 cat 5 pcmcia card. I also ordered an SMC Barricade Router (SMC-7004AWBR). I ordered these things for a customer. I live in Alaska and am in the military here. I do computer work for the military and also do it on the side for extra income. We cannot get ground shipping here so everything must be sent 2nd day air. I received my package after 6 days. Not Axions fault (FedEx) FedEx agreed to refund 100% of the money but it would go to Axion. The other problem was that they sent the wrong cat 5 pcmcia card. Instead I received a cat 5 PCI card for a desktop. After calling and speaking with Annie she xferred me to Cuong in returns. The hold time was minimal. Cuong worked with me and agreed to let me keep the wrong cat 5 card as well as send me the correct one at their cost. They also agreed to refund the shipping ($33.00) minus the cost of ground shipping about 8 dollars. All this untill FedEx reimbursed them the 100%. After which I would receive the other $8. But its not over yet. Upon trying to install the Router at the customer location it was determined by SMC tech support to be faulty. So Now I have gone back to Axion this morning (18 Nov) and told them that this is bad. They told me that I have to ship it back at my cost and they will test it and if found to be bad they will ship me another one. Again I talked with Cuong. I will update this post as soon as I have updated info. Good job to Cuong so far as he has worked consistently to rectify my situation. Lets see if things follow through on the Router. HC
(11/27/02) OK, Time for an update. I have sent the faulty SMC Wireless router back to axion via fedex. For everyones confirmation the fedex tracking number was: 791981335895 It was delivered on the 11/21/02 at 11:54AM. It cost me $27.00 to send this item back to them. As of this morning (11/27/02) I called and spoke to Carlos as Coung was not there today. Carlos put me on hold and advised that he would have to research this. After a lengthy hold time he returned to say that yes they had received it and found it on a techs desk and that it had not been tested yet. I expressed my dissatisfaction with Axion and their lack of promptness in this matter. He explained he understood and was going to look into this personally. I explained that I would not be home today and that he should email me his response which he most assuredly said would arrive no later than 2pm. Well it is 7pm cst (axion time) and 4pm my time still no response. They also informed me that I would not be receiving a full refund of the original shipping charges. I have spoke with 3 different Fedex representatives and they have all assured me that Axion was receiving a 100% refund. This is turning out to be a very very disappointing customer service issue. I am now awaiting a call back after leaving them a message this afternoon. I am hoping they call by 12/01/02. More to follow. HC"

"I ordered something from quicksell which was simply advertized as open box, but upon recieving the board I find that a cable, SPDIF module, and CRIMM are all missing. The page made no mention of any of this, but the support person (Roy) says that's why I got it for half retail (which frankly means nothing since I only got about $30 off street price new) Buying the missing parts will cost me that.

Just got off the phone with Roy. It would seem after a few emails back and forth we've come to an arrangement which I believe is quite commendable on Axion's part. They agreed that the description was incorrectly done and are working on a solution. Good job axion on following up. Hopefully this can be conveniently resolved. I'll keep you posted."
"Ordered an MSI motherboard for a company project, with 3-day shipping. The order arrived promptly and was in great condition. Unfortunately I did not realise the difference between the "QuickSell" and regular part of the site, therefore when coming back to order more, I found it was a limited item.
However, I have overall been very pleased with their performance, and have already ordered again, in much larger quantity. Interestingly enough, when I totalled up an order - first as a regular customer and then as a dealer, the shipping prices showed a difference of $20 or so. I played a note in the additional comments about it, and when the confirmation email arrived the next day, it had the lower shipping price! Way to go guys. :)"

"Ordered a vid card and cpu from them, received it very quick...good!
The heatsink on cpu was offset from AMD and would not allow me to put it in the socket on MB. I called them and was told I would have to deal w/AMD.
Two issues I have with them:
1. Attitude of not caring about my satisfaction ("well that's not our problem, that's AMDs!). It may be AMDs problem, but I am Axion's customer.
2.I asked twice to speak to supervisor (Aaron, I was told), and both times I was put on hold and the same tech came on, not Aaron. I wanted the supervisor to handle the call since I was not happy with the resolution from the tech, but I guess it was not important enough for him to talk to me.
Would be glad to order from them again if they cared enough to talk to me."

I also recently had to return some defective RAM almost a year after ordering. Customer service was great. I got my RMA number with no hassle and had my replacement RAM in about a week. "I used this company a few times to order parts for my gaming system....each time my shipment arrived in a timely manner and in excellent shape.....they answered my questions before I placed my order patiently and made me feel at easy with giving out my credit card number.

"OEM motherboard worked and got it at a good price, but shipping methods were irresponsible. its a miracle that the product wasn't damaged during shipping. it was basically a cardboard box with the systemboard in a plastic bag, manual, cables, and driver disc, all loose and banging around. by the time it got to me and i opened it, everything was scratched/ripped up."
