"BHM Golf are scam artists and complete fools who's dodgy dealings will backfire and send them broke. KEEP AWAY FROM THEM.
BHM Golf certainly offer the best prices on the web and my comparaitve shopping indicated they were pretty hot ... and then the nightmare began.
I ordered US$300 worth of merchandise from BHM (TM Burner Rescue #4, 3 TM gloves size ML, a TM Players Towel and 3 doz TM TP Black balls) with international shipping costs of $75 and then waited, and waited, and waited a bit more. Finally UPS here in New Zealand advised that my parcel had arrived - only 3 days from the US once it left Ill. Imagine my surprise when the UPS guy delivered a small box and I open it to find 3 gloves in size M rather than the ML I ordered and a Cart towel that is half the cost of the Players towel - total value "
"DON'T DO IT!!!!! BHM Golf/Brian is no more than a scandalous thief with absolutely no intentions on providing the items advertised. I certainly wish I would've read this website prior to my purchase. I have no idea how Brian gets away with this obvious scam, or how he can sleep at night when his profession is stealing money from others. "
"I sorta, only sorta, dodged the bullet with my BHM golf purchase. I ordered a Cleveland wedge from them and called to check on it a couple of weeks later. The person on the phone was curt but o.k. and called back with a status. I received the club 3 days later. But it was not the club I ordered. The bizarre thing about it is that BHM had to go out of its way to get the order wrong. The club arrived as a custom order graphite shafted wedge. I had ordered an off the shelf wedge! When I called Cleveland, they confirmed that BHM ordered it as custom and that the wedge I ordered was in stock. The end of the story is that I can't use the club. But after reading the other reviews on BHM, I decided avoid further frustration and went to my local pro shop to get it remedied. I'm just happy I didn't loose any money on this purchase."
"I ordered a driver from this company.. but after seeing this web site I begun to worry. It took a while for my order to be filled, however the club I ordered was not available so I was offered an upgrade at no additional cost. BHM answered all my emails and was not rude on the phone. All in all I am satisfied with their service. As well as saving $100 on the upgrade."
"Contrary to other reviews, I have received excellent service from BHM Golf. I ordered a spectator seat for my husband, then another for my son. Both items arrived within the time promised and in good condition."
"This place is a JOKE! Don't buy ANYTHING from this place. Nothing is in stock and the Owner/Manager Brian is a complete JERK!
My story:
Recently I was looking for a pair of black golf shoes that I was having difficulties finding when at last I ran across BHM Golf. Not only did I find the shoes that I was looking for but BHM offered FREE SHIPPING! Nearly a month went by and still no golf shoes. Finally a box was delivered to my front door step with the return address in IL. When I open the box there they were … a white pair of golf shoes! After several communications with customer support it was agreed that I would return the wrong shoes and BHM would order the correct shoes and have the sent 2nd day to me. Several weeks passed and still no shoes. I was told a comparable shoes were in stock (oh yes, these shoes were not in stock as you would think by looking at the website, in fact very little is kept at the store in Villa Park, IL) only to get a phone call from Brian (owner/manager) who asked for the difference in price of the two shoes. After two months with nothing to show I decided that I wasn’t going to spend anymore money at BHM Golf and told Brian that I wanted a refund, and then there was silence on the phone, in fact too much silence, Brian had hung up on me! I was livid and when the phone rang again with a 630 area code I was hesitant to answer. After a few deep breaths I answered the phone when Brian started on his rant again. I asked Brian to not say a word and never to hang up on me again and told him that I just wanted a refund for shipping and the cost of the returned shoes. A couple of weeks later I got an email from BHM Golf with a tracking number. After researching the number it was the tracking number of the original (wrong) shipment of the white shoes…pretty creative from Mr. BHM himself.
Although a website may say one thing, the Better Business Bureau may say something else! Always check the BBB before doing business with jerks online, you may find BHM in another form!"
"Absolutely the worst vendor I have ever dealt with on the Internet. I was lied to too many times to count, but I did keep each and every email to prove Brian's lies. If you are dumb enough as I was to ever place an order with this guy, keep all of your correspondence. It will help you understand how stupid you were when it is finally all over. After 6 weeks of grief and lies I cancelled the order and was promised a refund. It took the threat of my paying him a personal visit in Chicago to collect to get him to finally refund my money through PayPal. Then to prove his true colors, he short changed me $5. I guess this was a cheap lesson. I look forward to the demise of this horrible Internet merchant."
"The putter arrived today, but it was the wrong length (after I specifically asked you about it last week), and you did not "throw in a hat" like you said you would for my two-and-a-half month wait. Heck, you didn't even throw in an invoice.
I will never do business with you again, and I will actively discourage others not to buy from you. I believe you are a crook; if not, and even with a generous benefit of doubt, you are careless, incompetent and inconsiderate. In short, you are unfit to run a business."
"Sorry to say it, but BHM is a total loser. Save yourself the aggravation of the delays and excuses and shope elsewhere...I still do not have the club three weeks later that was to be shipped 3-5 days. Blame it on Taylormade, but don't advertise what you cannot produce. "
"I had a reasonably good experience with BHM Golf. I ordered a SKY caddie about a week & 1/2 before fathers day. The price was cheaper than anyplace else & he said he had it in stock, promised delivery by 6/9. Nobody else had it in stock.
Didn't know his firm but the web site was done very professionally & he accepted Pat Pal. I reasoned that Pay Pal would make things right if it turned sour.
I subsequently read all the negative comments about this dealer on this site, got nervous & called him when delivery did not arrive on the date promised. He was polite & courteous & promised delivery a few days later.
Long story short, it arrived the Fri before fathers day a week after originally promised. In his defense, it was a hot item that nobody else could get to me in time.
I called (politely) at least 4 times & got through easily & was treated politely for all the calls (even the one where after I wrote down the wrong tracking number, he had to give it to me again).
I sorta felt I was dealing with a different person than the one described in the negative comments on this site. Go figure. I'd buy again if the price was as good as the one I got on the Sky Caddie SG4.
I had called him about 4 times during the process, 'cause all the negative comments freeked me out.
"
"Add my voice to the chorus of negative comments.
I ordered a golf bag on 5/20/2007. The website clearly states to "allow 3 to 5 business days for delivery". It is June 2, two weeks later, and I received an e-mail today stating the bag will be shipped "sometime this week", whatever that means.
I also received a 9:30pm Sunday night call from "customer service". Aside from handling the issue concerning my order, the representative wanted to talk about how he and his girlfriend argued over her gaining weight.
WARNING
STAY AWAY FROM BHM GOLF
"
" I would advise all customers to look else-where for the golfing supplies. BHM shipped me the wrong product after a month of waiting for my order and now it has taken more than 3 weeks to get them to ship me the correct order. They lost the item that I returned to them, failed to order the correct item to expedite the shipment back to me and failed to return numerous phone calls when I attempted to find out the status of the corrected order. It would be in your best interest to buy from a more reputable company. Stay away from BHM Golf!"
"Do Not Use BHM golf. It is a rip off. They advertise reasonable prices and cannot deliver products at all. They have taken payment by paypal and not delivered anything. I talked to Brian on the phone and was rudely told "I'll call you back". This happened twice and I still have not heard back from BHM golf. Not by email or by phone. Do Not Use BHM golf, it's just a rip off company."
"Placed order online due to the reasonable pricing and free shipping on purchases over $75. To make a very very long story short, after 1 month, I only received half the order and never got an answer on the other half. Requested a refund, was promised a refund via email but never received. Horrible customer service!!!
I filed a complaint with Paypal (I have learned to never use Paypal as payment unless it is thru ebay!!) and the Better Business Bureau (BHM golf has a very long and unsatisfactory history with the BBB). The refund is relatively small (under $50) but I am going thru as many measures as possible because this seller should be dealing with the public anymore!! BHM golf has proven to be unreliable and dishonest. My next step is the FTC to try to prove that BHM golf committed mail fraud!!! "
"Well I hate to add to the negativity, but I had the worst experience ever from BHM. Brian or "Allen" was the name I was initially given was very rude I called about an item I had ordered and wanted some tracking information to determine if it would be here by Christmas. I had ordered several other golfing items from another website, regular UPS on the same day, but they just didnt have my driver. All of the other stuff had arrived by 12/20/06 and when I called Brian, aka "Allen" he couldnt even offer me an explanation or even give me a number to the people he ordered the items from. He was so rude and it really upset me that he had my money and could care less about when my dad's drive would even show up. He even hung up on me when I told him I was going to report him to the better business bureau and I had to block my number just to get him to pick up on subsequent calls to determine if my refund was on the way. I have filed complaints with the better business bureau as well as Paypal and I am still living in this nightmare while Brian has my money. I wish I would have done a search on BHM before I ordered, but I was new to ordering golf items and never would have imagined this type of customer service."
