"My room mate recommend me this place. The item was recieved on time for the most part. The quality seems to be pretty good, haven't had any problems on overheating yet on the processor and heatsink. Though, the processor is running at only 2/3 of what it should be running at; with just the default settings.
Did have a 2 pins bent slightly, but was only for the modem sound port on the motherboard, that I don't even use. I did get them straightened back without any problems.
Overall, it seems that this company is decent , and has pretty good quality products."
"Everything ok, but I don't like the fact that your pricewatch ad mentions the combo including the fan with the CPU, only to find out that it is a "temporary fan" in which you must spend much more money to upgrade to a version that includes a decent warranty. You should just advertise it with the fan that you will back with a good warranty. Too many Pricewatch companies use tactics like this to attract buyers. There are several companies who do much worse than this, and I always ignore their listings because I know they are falsely advertised. Your company isn't that bad, but I think the companies who list and give the straight-forward pricing with no gimmicks are the best. It's worth thinking about. Thanks!"
"i have had nothing but the best from this company i have orderd many items including my abit nf7-7 board (love it) they let me know every step that my order went through i had many emails. products have came perfect every time. i'm a tech so that is very important! i have to say A++++++++++++++ to everyone at BZBoyz thank you very much

"Easy to navigate site, great selection, quick order process. Will be returning to do business in the near future."
"Product and price seem good but website was not user friendly in that whenever you move around in the site you lose your shopping cart and the only way to retrieve it is to place another item into the cart and then delete it and recalculate the total. If you try to go to it directly, you get an empty Cart! Very frustrating and time consuming."
"So far so good. All I have done is send an order, price is so far unbeatable."
"My experience with BZBoys has been an excellent one friendly service, speedy deliveries and great prices. My computer shopping will be done here at BZBoys in the future, Outstanding Job !!!"
"THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM.
Referred by pricewatch.com, I ordered a motherboard/cpu combo on 3/26. Then I received an email on 3/28:
Any order can only be cancelled for one of two reasons:
1. You contacted us and cancelled the order
2. We saw that there was a problem with the order and were not able to get
in touch with you, and thus we had to cancel your order after trying to
contact you multiple times with no response.
I also got a phone message saying there was a problem with my order, and asking me to call them back. I called and talked with a guy whose name I swear sounded exactly like Sachin (more about that later). He told me that the OEM CPU I ordered was on back order, but that I could upgrade to the retail box version for about $45 and they would also upgrade my shipping. Since I was building a computer for a friend, I couldn't afford the upgrade so I asked if there was another comparable CPU I could order that costed less than the $45. He said no, and that the retail box version was my only option. So I cancelled my order.
So on 3/28 I went back to pricewatch.com and ordered the same EXACT mobo/cpu combo from partspc.com for almost the same exact price. On 3/29 I got an email similar to the above:
Your order is being processed but we have encountered a problem which may
cause a small delay.
The delay is due to one of the following reaseons and can be quickly
resolved as soon as contact is made between you and I.
* There may be an incompatibility issue with some of the items you
have ordered which we have noticed
* You have provided us with some information on your order which we
need to update or confirm
* Option for item(s) not available
So I called and was directed to a guy named Sachin! I ended up cancelling my order because the OEM CPU was on back order. Funny thing, though, that bzboyz and partspc are both located in CA and have a Sachin with the same foreign accent working for them...
Today (4/1) I went to bzboyz.com and noticed an on-line chat session. I logged on and talked with a rep for a while. I asked him if they have the OEM CPU I ordered in stock and HE SAID YES! I asked him if it has been on back order within the last 10 days and HE SAID NO! That was only 3 days after I spoke with Sachin who told me the exact opposite and tried to make me spend $45 more!
BZBOYZ IS A WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY. Spend the extra $5-$10 at googlegear.com - they have quality products, good prices, and FREE 2nd DAY SHIPPING."
"Ordered a cpu and used mobo. Mobo was sold out so had to substitute another for $5 more, but was no problem. Order was shipped in a reasonable time and was received in good condition. No complaints at all."
"Ordering was swift and webpages were easy to maneuver.
Got contacted 2 days later that one item was out of Stock by Sachin Mayer, their sales rep. Of course; the item was a major component and all other decisions were based on that.
We worked out this problem quickly and with a satisfactory result."
"Best experience I've had for ordering motherboard/processor combos. I've used BZBoyz several times for computers that I've built over the years and have yet to be let down.
"
"They are the best I have ever used. They really like the military and ship to apo address what more could you ask for. I always buy my system from here and they arrive in 7 to 10 days.
Thanks Guys and Gals"
"Received quote from BZBoyz on 01/16/03. Filled out PO and had it bounced back because they said Net30 required a 10% surcharge which they said had not been included. However, I had added the the surcharge into the quoted prices and I guess they missed it because it wasn't a seperate line item. There website never explains that they want the surcharge as a seprate line item.
So after all the hassle we finally get he items and low and behold the shipment is short 4 sticks of memory. Also the memory was supposed to be Samsung or brand name equivalent and the one stick we did receive WAS NOT, instead it was a generic no-name.
Next we go through more hassle as they conduct an internal investigation into the matter and finally on March 13th (well over a month has passed) we receive the missing memory and again these memory are genric brands and were NOT brand name equivalents.
We were going to dispute the memory but decided it would cost us more time and money to resolve than its worth.
Needless to say we will never use this unprofessional and unethical comany ever again. "
"Slow service Charged my card and didin't send every thing I ordered with no notice of a back order. When I contacted them at first they acted like they sent it then they finally beleived me and they sent the part. Then They sent me the wrong part [ I ordered a Western Digital hard drive limited with 8MB cashe they sent a OEM hard drive with 2MB cashe] that was cheaper and charged me for the higher priced one. When I contacted them again they made me go through the standard
RMA, I had to pay to ship the wrong part back so they could verify that it was the wrong part. So They took their time verifying the part. I had to stay on them consantly to get any action. They finally sent the right part. This mess took over two months to fix and they still have not reimbursed me for the shipping I paid to send in the wrong part. Mean while I was charged for everything up front. Never again. First time shame on you second time shame on me!"
"I had found these guys on Pricewatch while looking for a cheap motherboard/cpu combo for personal use for a friend. I purchased one combo, had it shipped. The called me to confirm the order the next day, the items came just as ordered and the product worked great.
So great that when I needed to build 3 computers for work I decided to get more of this same setup. I placed my second order with them on Feb. 21st, 2003. A few hours after I placed the order, I wanted to change it to 4 computers. I went to their site and they didn't have a phone number to call. I was reverted to an email change. So I did.
A few days went by, I hadn't heard or gotten an email from them. So I emailed them again. No answer.
On the 26th I received an email:
**START EMAIL**

Then on the 28th I received another email:

I called, spoke to Inder. He said that the OEM CPU was out of stock and that he would upgrade me to the retail, I just had to pay the difference. Part of the retail package was a longer warranty, as well as a fan/heatsink for $24.99. I had paid extra for a fan, $19.99, so I said fine, do the upgrade and take the fans off the order. I asked if there was anything else, Inder assured me there wasn't and the total would go up about $20.00.
On the 3rd I received the same email again. I called Inder back, but he wasn't there. I talked to someone else and they said that the problem now was that the phone number was wrong (which it was, I had a typo) -- and that they tried to call 5 times. I fixed that, asked if there was anything else wrong, they said no.
On the 4th, 5th, and 6th I received the same email again. I called each time, Inder wasn't there. I would as what's wrong, I would get some issue, I forget now really.
On the 7th, I got the same email again. Called, got Inder. I ask what could possibly be the problem now. He said that they didn't have the OEM in stock in that he could upgrade me to the retail... and I stopped him and said, "Listen Inder, I already talked to you about this and we agreed to upgrade to the retail and take the fans off the order." He said let me talk to my manager. He comes back and said that 'that isn't possible because we can't take fans out of the retail boxes' -- I stopped him and told him I wanted to take the FANS off the order, and get just the upgrade. He said it would be $20 extra dollars and I said "$20 total, I know Inder". He corrected me and said that no, it would be $20 PER item. His reason was he was new and misread that it was $47 for the retail -- whereas before he subtracted the $20 I was paying for the fans from the $27.
I explained that he quoted me $20 total before, and he reiterated that he was new.
I asked to cancel my order, he did, and I took my business elsewhere.
On a side note, about a week and a half later one of the girls I work with told me there was Inder was on the phone for me. I picked it up and he said "Hi Joe, I'm calling in regards to the email you sent me about your order. Our records show that it already shipped and was picked up". I explained to Inder about how we (and I really mean him and I) cancelled the order days ago. He realized that he looked at the wrong order number once he looked me up, and said "Ok, bye". I figured he would have felt a little bad that they lost my business, but I guess my budget (which is pretty hefty at about $6,000 a month in computer equipment) will be spent with other companies. Maybe I'll be posting here more often ;)
It seems they are inconsistent, and their management doesn't care too much about every order. Maybe you'll get a good rep, maybe not. Seems from my experience and others that bait and switch is in use.
