"Had several good orders with Babbitt's and the last one was a bad one and I will never return ! Did a online chat to make sure part I wanted was correct , was told it was . Ordered part and guess what ... it was wrong ! I had to pay shipping and then these co_ _ su _ _ers charge me a restock fee .. so by time I paid return shipping and restock fee I got 8$ back on a 30$ part they told me was correct .. plus they whacked me 25$ shipping to get me my parts and I returned in the same box and it cost me 16 $ .. so not only did the rob me on shipping , they gave me bad info and made me pay for it. They do not care about keeping customers ... Find another place to get parts ! Motosport.com can get you all the same OE parts Babbitt's can and Motosport had free shipping !!!!! "
"Ordered Motorcycle parts that and did not hear from them for three weeks. This is not typically bad except for that Babbitts processed the payment immediately, sent out a receipt with an expected delivery date, and after that date passed I had to call to find out the status of the order. I phoned them and they told me it was due to backordered parts. I waited another week and phoned them again. This time they told me the part number was superseded by another part and they were not aware of it. They said they would put a rush on the order and I should get it soon. Three weeks later the part arrived. Two months later I needed bunch of parts. Just shy of $1,000 in parts and one part being the same exact part I had previously order. So I order the parts. Well the exact same thing happened. Except I received an email telling me that one part, the same one I order, was back order for three more weeks. I waited three weeks and nothing. So I called and I was told the same thing. The part arrived one week later. The wrong part. I phoned them and the CS rep told me that part was no longer available and they substituted it with another part, the wrong part. So I got a RMA and returned the part. They charged 25% restocking and I had to pay shipping. Keep in mind they charged my card the day I placed the order. Now it has been three months and I just received a credit to my charge card.
I ordered the part from a dealer (oh I live on an Island and must take a ferry to visit a dealer) and they told me the part would be here in 3 to 5 business days. Here is the real kicker. They said the part was never superseded and the part number Babbits gave me is bogus.
Sure there parts are a little cheaper. But when you add in crap like this it is a money making deal for them and a big loss for the customer. My 150 dollar part cost me 250 dollars because of them

I posted my opinions here, yelp and several other places. Within 12 hours I received a call from the manager (voice mail). I ignored it. Two days later I get a warm friendly email. So I responded and put it all on the line. They refunded me the restocking fee, but not shipping. OH well. It is nice to know that reviews can help. The worst thing is, there is no method to delete your account. I tried to have them delete my account twice before the manager emailed me. He assures me my account is deleted now. I would give them one and a half stars now. I will never purchase from them again. But at least I did get some satisfaction.

"I wanted $1,238.00 of parts to ship to an address other than my bill to/ship to, I was told just put it in the notes. I did and followed it up with a phone call to make sure they saw the notes. No problem I was told. You guessed it, they did not ship to the address in the notes. Now I will have to pay twice the freight to bring it to Panama as I would have if they could only follow instructions.
When I called to complain I was told that since the parts had arrived at the destination they had no legal rights over the shipment. I asked for $ back to cover my expenses and got the no legal rights phrase. NEVER AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!! I will of course mention this to friends and family."

"Ordered a back rest and pad, received a quick confirmation of order and charged to my card, received the back rest and no pad, no email or call stating it was out of stock at all. I sent email asking why I was charged for it if it was not sent to me, no response...Online order number recording states they are closed weekends and evenings(the only time I am able to call them) and can't get a hold of anyone. "8-4-2015...DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS PLACE. HORRIBLE!!! I own a Motorcycle repair shop and place an order(FOR A CUSTOMER'S BIKE) on a Monday, got an EMAILED Response on Friday evening that the item was on BACKORDER. I IMMEDIATELY EMAILED back(SInce there is "ALWAYS" multiple people in front of your call and the number isn't a 1800 so they rake you for the call as well) with No Response. TWICE!!!! After multiple no responses I called the place again and waited after 15 PEOPLE to get another person telling me an item (WHICH WASN'T LISTED ON THEIR WEBSITE AS BACKORDER- talking to my Lawyer on this FALSE ADVERTISING to the public for profit) is on backorder again. I asked for a REFUND and she told me "I COULDN'T GET A REFUND IF I DIDN'T FIND THE PART ELSEWHERE!" REALLY???? My Own Customer found the part CHEAPER than this place and FASTER. Now I LOST A customer and have to WAIT 2-7 BUSINESS DAYS to RETURN HIS MONEY because that's How Babbitt's Do Business!!! "This place sucks, I will never order from them again! I ordered a part on the 13th, it was suppose to deliver between the 17th and the 27th, which is already a long window for delivery! The only time they emailed me was after I called them fussing! I canceled my order today because they said last week that it was in route to them and they would ship it to me soon as they got it, and send a email saying it was shipped! I never got a email so I called again today, and they still haven't even got my part yet! Soooo I canceled! "
"I placed my first order of $700 plus with Babbitts on the 16th of July 2015. My parts arrived on schedule with all my parts ordered except two parts that had to be back ordered. Got a timely email in regards to the back ordered parts. Yes some parts for nearly 18 year old bikes takes some time. I am very satisfied with the service and price couldn't be better! No they did not ask me to write this review."
"I ordered almost $1200 in parts from them it has been about 70 days now and still do not have all the parts. I have sent a couple emails and never got a response back. Called and have talked to Amy who passed me to a manager named jacob who voice mail I got. I have never heard back from jacob. I then talked to a emily who hung up on me. I called back and talmed to shelby who says I will get a refund for the part I am waiting on. Each time I call about the part I get a different story
1 story is they do not show me in the computer but they can tell me all the parts I purchased, 2 story is that they do not have a address to send it to but the other 2 shipments of the parts showed up to me. 3 story it is on back order. Stay away from this place."
"Really wish I would have read the reviews first. Ordered a few small parts to fix a bike I was selling, took a week and a half to get them. Sold the bike a week after I ordered the parts, so they came too late. I needed them to take care of an oil leak. So now I have parts I don't need, and didn't get full price for my bike because of the leak. Every time I order from Rocky Mtn ATV or Bike Bandit, I get my parts in a matter of days, not a week and a half later. Return policy makes it not worth eating the original shipping charges, paying to ship them back, paying a restocking fee, etc., so unfortunately will be throwing them away. Hate wasting money. Website was kawasakipartswarehouse,com, but they don't warehouse the oem parts I ordered. Plus pretty sure one of the parts was incorrect, supposed to be a crush washer, got a solid metal one. Ugh. Read the reviews before you order
Update 8/21/15: They agreed to refund my money if I took down my negative reviews on Yelp and resellarratings.com. I thought they should give me a refund because it was the right thing to do, not in exchange for me removing a factual negative rating. Also, they charged me $9.95 to ship a small screw and small incorrect washer. The only reason I agreed to it was because of the urgency. I checked with the post office, and had they mailed them to me in a small padded envelope, it would have cost less than $2 and taken 2-3 days to get to me from Muskegon Michigan to Denver Colorado. Instead they charged me almost $10 to have it take a week and a half."
"Ordered a battery for my Polaris Ranger from Babbitts. After a week and a half of not receiving any shipping confirmation, I contacted customer service. The lady told me that they received my order on July 8th. I told her that I have an email from her company confirming my order on the 3rd. I even offered to forward the email to her. She was very rude. After the way she talked to me, I would buy a part from them if they were the only place that had it. "
"Their service is top notch! I experienced a small hiccup on a recent Kawasaki part order and Babbitt's bent over backwards to make it right. The shipping was very quick. They communicate VERY quickly and will do what's necessary to make sure you're a satisfied and happy customer. My experience sure didn't mirror some of the bad reviews on this site. Babbitt's did NOT ask me to write this review."
